Traditional Jewish Folksongs is a collection of six popular traditional Jewish/Yiddish/Sephardic/Hebrew songs and the Israeli National Anthem arranged for Clarinet Quartet. The Titles Include: 1. This quartet has a klezmer feel. It is inspired by the Mel Lazarus comic strip and has a section for each child (Thomas, Marylou, and Francis). The main theme is from the Hebrew melody Prokofiev used in his Overture. The bass clarinet part is intended for an extended bass clarinet but can be done on the shorter one. All voices get interesting parts and audiences have loved it.
