Some of the lyrics are changed and it is in SATB choir cello with parts included and piano. ?The angels spread God?s message all around; In the country and in the town. The sight of the angels sent fear in some of the people?

?The angels and all of the people in the area followed a bright star. It shown it?s great light upon a stable. There they found Mary, Joseph and the newborn King?

Commissioned by the SFLGFB for their Pride Concert of 2014 this piece for concert band and choir incorporates Mandela's favorite poem, Invictus. As the title suggest the music starts in a dark, ominous mood and struggles through each verse before emerging in a triumphant final verse. Perfect for MLK Day concerts or any occasion celebrating equality and unity among people!
