There is a continuing scholarly debate about whether the alleged fragment was real, or a musical hoax perpetrated by Giazotto, but there is no doubt about Giazotto's authorship of the remainder of the work.This arrangement was written for string quartet. An arrangement by John Pinno of Adagio by Tomaso Albinoni (1671-1750) and Remo Giazotto (1910-1998) for two classical guitars. This comes with a full score and individual guitar parts with full left and right hand fingerings. This was inspired by the recording in the mid 1960s for two classical guitars by Ida Presti and Alexander Lagoya.
