Piano Solo - Intermediate - Digital Download By Various. Arranged by Mario Stallbaumer. 3 pages. Published by Mario Stallbaumer
With this sheet music, you can play “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” on piano!<br> <br> The full melody is included in the piano part, so it makes for a perfect instrumental (piano solo) cover.<br> <br> The famous duet "Baby, It's Cold Outside" was written in 1944 by Frank Loesser, who regularly performed the song at celebrity parties with his wife, Lynn Garland.<br> <br> In 1949, the song appeared in the film "Neptune's Daughter", and won an Academy Award for Best Original Song!<br> <br> The song is clearly winter-themed (talking about the blizzard outside!), but it doesn’t mention anything holiday-related. Anyway, the song is generally considered a Christmas song.<br> <br> Of course, the song has been covered by countless artists since the 40s.<br> <br> Some of the most memorable recordings include such fantastic duos as Louis Armstrong and Velma Middleton, Ray Charles and Betty Carter, Rod Stewart and Dolly Parton, Idina Menzel and Michael Bublé, Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Seth MacFarlane and Sara Bareilles!<br> <br> “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” also appeared in an episode of Glee (“A Very Glee Christmas”, Season 2, Episode 10), where it is performed by members of the Glee Cast (Blaine Anderson/Darren Criss and Kurt Hummel/Chris Colfer).<br> <br> Time for you to play it!<br> <br> <br> Here are the full lyrics to “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”:<br> <br> [VERSE 1]<br> <br> I really can't stay (but baby, it's cold outside)<br> <br> I've got to go away (but baby, it's cold outside)<br> <br> This evening has been (been hoping that you'd drop in)<br> <br> So very nice (i'll hold your hands, they're just like ice)<br> <br> My mother will start to worry (beautiful what's your hurry?)<br> <br> My father will be pacing the floor (listen to the fireplace roar)<br> <br> So really I'd better scurry (beautiful please don't hurry)<br> <br> But maybe just a half a drink more (put some records on while I pour)<br> <br> The neighbors might think (baby, it's bad out there)<br> <br> Say what's in this drink? (no cabs to be had out there)<br> <br> I wish I knew how (your eyes are like starlight now)<br> <br> To break this spell (i'll take your hat, your hair looks swell)<br> <br> I ought to say, no, no, no sir (mind if I move in closer?)<br> <br> At least I'm gonna say that I tried (what's the sense in hurtin' my pride?)<br> <br> I really can't stay (oh baby don't hold out)<br> <br> But baby, it's cold outside<br> <br> [VERSE 2]<br> <br> I simply must go (but baby, it's cold outside)<br> <br> The answer is no (but baby, it's cold outside)<br> <br> Your welcome has been(how lucky that you dropped in)<br> <br> So nice and warm (look out the window at this dawn)<br> <br> My sister will be suspicious (gosh your lips look delicious)<br> <br> My brother will be there at the door (waves upon the tropical shore)<br> <br> My maiden aunts mind is vicious (gosh your lips are delicious)<br> <br> But maybe just a cigarette more (never such a blizzard before)<br> <br> I've gotta get home(but baby, you'd freeze out there)<br> <br> Say lend me a coat(it's up to your knees out there)<br> <br> You've really been grand (i thrill when you touch my hand)<br> <br> But don't you see? Piano Solo - Advanced Intermediate - Digital Download By Queen. Arranged by Mario Stallbaumer. 6 pages. Published by Mario Stallbaumer
With these piano sheets, you can play “Bohemian Rhapsody” on piano!<br> <br> It’s an accurate piano arrangement of the whole piece, including all parts, full melody & instrumental solos.<br> <br> I believe this is the most accurate piano arrangement of the song you will find anywhere.<br> <br> It’s a “Bohemian Rhapsody” piano version in the song’s original key, it’s playable, and it sounds fantastic!<br> <br> <br> I also created sheet music of the same piano arrangement with the song’s full lyrics - you can get it here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/21155920<br> <br> <br> “Bohemian Rhapsody” was, of course, written by the one and only Freddie Mercury.<br> <br> It was included on Queen’s 1975 album “A Night at the Opera” and became one of Queen’s biggest hits. Today, it is considered by many to be the best classic rock song of all time.<br> <br> <br> There’s a good reason why the 2018 biographical film about Freddie Mercuy (played by Rami Malek) is named after this song - arguably his greatest composition.<br> <br> <br> “Bohemian Rhapsody” is famous for its diverse parts: from the a-capella-intro to rock ballad verses, from hard rock guitar solos to operatic sections.<br> <br> “Bohemian Rhapsody” really is the whole package - and all parts of it can sound surprisingly great on piano, if played right!<br> <br> <br> In my experience, many arrangements of the song seem to be lacking something: They are not accurate, don’t sound powerful enough, there are important parts or even whole sections missing.<br> <br> So I took my time to create a piano arrangement of the song which I feel does justice to this wonderful piece.<br> <br> <br> I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I do!<br> <br> <br> <br> Here are the full lyrics to “Bohemian Rhapsody”:<br> <br> <br> “Is this the real life?<br> <br> Is this just fantasy?<br> <br> Caught in a landslide<br> <br> No escape from reality<br> <br> Open your eyes<br> <br> Look up to the skies and see<br> <br> I'm just a poor boy, I need no sympathy<br> <br> Because I'm easy come, easy go<br> <br> A little high, little low<br> <br> Anyway the wind blows, doesn't really matter to me, to me<br> <br> Mama, just killed a man<br> <br> Put a gun against his head<br> <br> Pulled my trigger, now he's dead<br> <br> Mama, life had just begun<br> <br> But now I've gone and thrown it all away<br> <br> Mama, oh oh<br> <br> Didn't mean to make you cry<br> <br> If I'm not back again this time tomorrow<br> <br> Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters<br> <br> Too late, my time has come<br> <br> Sends shivers down my spine<br> <br> Body's aching all the time<br> <br> Goodbye everybody I've got to go<br> <br> Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth<br> <br> Mama, oh oh (anyway the wind blows)<br> <br> I don't want to die<br> <br> Sometimes wish I'd never been born at all<br> <br> I see a little silhouetto of a man<br> <br> Scaramouch, Scaramouch will you do the Fandango<br> <br> Thunderbolt and lightning very very frightening me<br> <br> Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, Gallileo, figaro, magnifico<br> <br> I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me<br> <br> He's just a poor boy from a poor family<br> <br> Spare him his life from this monstrosity<br> <br> Easy come easy go will you let me go<br> <br> Bismillah, no we will not let you go, let him go<br> <br> Bismillah, we will not let you go, let him go<br> <br> Bismillah, we will not let you go, let me go<br> <br> (Will not let you go) let me go (never, never let you go) let me go (never let me go)<br> <br> Oh oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no<br> <br> Oh mama mia, mama mia, mama mia let me go<br> <br> Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me for me for me<br> <br> So you think you can stop me and spit in my eye<br> <br> So you think you can love me and leave me to die<br> <br> Oh baby can't do this to me baby<br> <br> Just gotta get out just gotta get right outta here<br> <br> Oh oh oh yeah, oh oh yeah<br> <br> Nothing really matters<br> <br> Anyone can see<br> <br> Nothing really matters<br> <br> Nothing really matters to me<br> <br> Anyway the wind blows”With these piano sheets, you can play “Bohemian Rhapsody” on piano!<br> <br> It’s an accurate piano arrangement of the whole piece, including all parts, full melody & instrumental solos.<br> <br> I believe this is the most accurate piano arrangement of the song you will find anywhere.<br> <br> It’s a “Bohemian Rhapsody” piano version in the song’s original key, it’s playable, and it sounds fantastic!<br> <br> <br> I also created sheet music of the same piano arrangement with the song’s full lyrics - you can get it here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/21155920<br> <br> <br> “Bohemian Rhapsody” was, of course, written by the one and only Freddie Mercury.<br> <br> It was included on Queen’s 1975 album “A Night at the Opera” and became one of Queen’s biggest hits. Mendelssohn: Wedding March Mendelssohn’s Wedding March is so popular that it’s difficult to imagine a wedding without it. It seems like it’s been around for eternity. In any case, it was only 150 years or so ago that the Wedding March came about. It was performed in Potsdam for the first time in 1842, as a piece of Mendelssohn’s music for the Shakespeare play A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It was first used for a wedding in 1858 Mendelssohn Background Felix Mendelssohn (1809 –1847) was, by all means, a German mastermind composer, musician and orchestra conductor of the Romantic period. Consequently, Mendelssohn composed in the usual forms of the time - symphonies, concertos, oratorios, piano music, and chamber music. To summarize, his most famous works include his music for A Midsummer Night's Dream, the Italian Symphony, the Scottish Symphony, The Hebrides Overture, his later Concerto for Violin & Orchestra, and his Octet for Strings. His most well-known piano pieces, by and large, are the Songs Without Words. Artistic Standing Musical tastes change from time to time. Moreover, just such a change occurred in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This plus rampant antisemitism brought a corresponding amount of undue criticism. Fortunately, however, his artistic inventiveness has indeed been critically re-evaluated. As a result, Mendelssohn is once again among the most prevalent composers of the Romantic era. Early Family Life Mendelssohn was, in fact, born into a prominent Jewish family. His grandfather was, notably, the philosopher Moses Mendelssohn. Felix was, in fact, raised without religion. At the age of seven, he was all of a sudden baptized as a Reformed Christian. He was, moreover, a child musical prodigy. Nevertheless, his parents did not attempt to exploit his talent. Early Adulthood Mendelssohn was, in general, successful in Germany. He conducted, in particular, a revival of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, specifically with his presentation of the St Matthew Passion in 1829. Felix was truly in demand throughout Europe as a composer, conductor, and soloist. For example, he visited Britain ten times. There, he premiered, namely, many of his major works. His taste in music was. To be sure, inventive and well-crafted yet markedly conservative. This conservatism separated him by all means from more audacious musical colleagues like Liszt, Wagner, and Berlioz. Mendelssohn founded the Leipzig Conservatoire which, to clarify, became a defender of this conservative viewpoint. Mature Adulthood Schumann notably wrote that Mendelssohn was the Mozart of the nineteenth century, the most brilliant musician, the one who most clearly sees through the contradictions of the age and for the first time reconciles them. This observation points to a couple of features in particular that illustrate Mendelssohn's works and his artistic procedure. Musical Features In the first place, his musical style was fixed in his methodical mastery of the style of preceding masters. This being said, he certainly recognized and even developed early romanticism from the music of Beethoven and Weber. Secondly, it indicates that Mendelssohn sought to strengthen his inherited musical legacy rather than to exchange it with new forms and styles or replace it with exotic orchestration. Consequently, he diverged his contemporaries in the romantic period, such as Wagner, Berlioz, and Liszt. Mendelssohn revered Liszt's virtuosity at the keyboard but found his music rather insubstantial.Register for free lifetime revisions and updates at www.jamesguthrie.com &n.

Piano Solo - Advanced Intermediate - Digital Download Composed by Louis Moreau Gottschalk (1829-1869). Arranged by Flavio Regis Cunha. Romantic Period, Ragtime, Graduation, Recital. Score. 12 pages. Published by Flavio Regis Cunha
Souvenir de Porto Rico, Op. 31, is a musical composition for piano by American composer Louis Moreau Gottschalk written from 1857 during a tour in Puerto Rico. Dedicated to the Dutch piano virtuoso and salon music composer Ernest Henry Lubeck, and published in Mainz circa 1860 with the subtitle of Marche des Gibaros, it is based on the Christmas folk song 'Si me dan pasteles, denmelos calientes', performed by local peasants known as Jíbaros.<br> <br> The piece makes use of Latin-American and Afro-American melodies and rhythms almost fifty years before early ragtime and jazz would popularize its use.Souvenir de Porto Rico was written in the last trimester of 1857, when of Gottschalk's stay at the sugar plantation of English-born Mr. Cornelius Cartwright, in Plazuela. At the time, Gottschalk was on vacation with singer Adelina Patti and her father. He would decide not to leave Puerto Rico, but instead remain there for weeks. During this period he composed a number of additional pieces after the local musical styles.Gottschalk would say about the setting where he composed the piece: "[I was] perched upon the edge of a crater, [and] my cabin overlooked the whole country. Every evening I moved my piano out upon the terrace, and played for myself alone, everything that the scene opened up before me inspired. And what would a ?generic? Shakespeare comedy include? Certainly it would center around a pair of young lovers, probably kept apart either by social circumstances or obstructionist parents. There would probably be an important situation involving mistaken identity or some other intrigue, moments of both decorum and revelry, plus some comic relief along the way, something like Peter Quince and the ?rude mechanicals? in Midsummer Night?s Dream, or Dogberry and his bumbling constables in Much Ado About Nothing.) And the whole thing would likely be capped off by a wedding. So here is a little suite which looks back beyond the great examples of incidental music by Grieg (Peer Gynt), Mendelssohn (Midsummer Night?s Dream) or Bizet (L?Arlésienne), all the way back to Henry Purcell?s Ayres for the Theatre, published in 1697. It features a blend of 17th century forms and contrapuntal textures with 21st century ?wrong note? harmonies and changing meters in a diverting and accessible audience pleaser. Performance time is about 14 minutes. The accompanying audio file gives you the first halves (roughly) of the first (Sinfonye) and last (Wedding March) movements. Yes, I know the Wedding March is in 3/4 time. Please don?t write to complain. And what would a ?generic? Shakespeare comedy include? The work is complete, unfortunately, you only can enjoy the audio in the full version. I hope to fix this ASAP.TimeThis work has been done during coronavirus. It is my way to complain about the comportment of the human being. It is clear work, without ostentations, trying to be easy, simple, and the most importantly honest. It is composed for Choir SATB & Strings. It has form movements being the last as large as the other three. The lyrics are simple without pretension and with a homely message.Lyrics:People, it’s time. Straight out from the ample worlds. The Society falls deep Deep as does my Planet. People, it’s time. Beyond, beyond, beyond the walls.Beyond, beyond, beyond of worlds.Life is defined.Beyond the walls, life.Beyond the worlds, life.People, it’s time. What more could you ask for?You complain you complain about lack of empathy.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.961542 Composed by Olly Wedgwood. Christian,Classical,Concert,Contemporary. Score. 3 pages. OllysPianoSheets #4791085. Published by OllysPianoSheets (A0.961542). A Penny For Your Thoughts is a gentle and expressive piece in the key of Eb major. It will suit intermediate pianists at about the Grade 3 (ABRSM) standard. The time signature is 'cut common time', denoted by the symbol , which is often used instead of the time signature . This means that the crotchet (quarter note) pulse is fairly fast as the tempo of the piece is about 78 minims (half notes) per minute. However, try not to rush - if anything, it can be played slower than this.Try to keep the left hand quite light as it accompanies the right hand melody. You'll find many suggested dynamics throughout the piece, but you are welcome to try experimenting with your own!A Penny For Your Thoughts should be played in a rubato style with plenty of feeling. A great choice for piano recitals, church services, or just a lovely piece of music to enjoy on your own :).Check out more of Olly Wedgwood's piano sheet music at OllysPianoSheets.com

Register for free lifetime updates and revisions at www.jamesguthrie.comAve MariaAve Maria is a Catholic prayer that consequently asks for the mother of Jesus (Mary) to intercede. Charles Gounod composed a famous version of the Ave Maria. He was a French Romantic composer who overlaid a new melody on an existing Bach chord progression. The progression is from Bach’s Prelude No. 1 from Well-Tempered Clavier I. This version, as well as Schubert’s version, have become essential items at weddings, masses, and funerals.Bach OverviewFirst of all, Johann Sebastian Bach is maybe the greatest composer in music history. Certainly, he was prolific. As a result, everyone has heard of his works. Furthermore, these works number well over a thousand. It seems like people are probably most familiar with the instrumental works such as the Brandenburg Concertos, and the Goldberg Variations. But, similarly famous are such noteworthy works as the Well-Tempered Clavier, the Musical Offering, and certainly the Art of Fugue. Seems like his most famous vocal works include the most noteworthy Mass in B Minor. Also, most noteworthy, though, are the St. John Passion, and certainly the Christmas Oratorio. HistoryBach came from a long line of musicians and above all, composers. Consequently, he, first of all, pursued a career as a church organist. So as a result, he gained employment in various Protestant churches in Germany. For a while, he worked as a court musician in Weimar and Köthen. Here he probably developed his organ style and likewise his chamber music style. Eventually, he, therefore, gained an appointment as Cantor of St. Thomas in Leipzig. Here he worked until difficulties with his employer ultimately drove him away. The King of Poland finally appointed him as a court composer. StyleIt seems like Bach created a fascinating new international style. He synthesized elements of the most noteworthy European music ideas into his new style. Even more, this new style was probably his synthesis of European musical rhythm and form. Furthermore, he demonstrated a complete mastery of counterpoint and motivic development. His sense of harmonic organization probably propelled him to the top.Revival Mendelssohn conducted a Bach revival in the nineteenth century. His effort probably helped to re-familiarize the public with the magnitude of Bach’s works. During this period, scholars published many noteworthy Bach biographies. Moreover, Wolfgang Schmieder published the BWV (Bach Werke Verzeichnis). As a result, this is now the official catalog of his entire artistic output. The BWV number allows us to locate a work in the catalog. Sometimes scholars will simply use an S (Schmieder) as an abbreviation for BWV. VoyagerNASA launched two Voyager spacecraft in 1977. Onboard are phonograph records with sounds, music, and images of life on Earth. The purpose of the launch was to inform intelligent extraterrestrial life forms about conditions on Earth. The music on the disc is varied. There is Bach, Mozart, Beethoven and Stravinsky among others. However, because Bach is so important in our music history, it contains three times more Bach that all the others combined.

Instrumental Duet Instrumental Duet,Piano - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.534483 Composed by Germaine Tailleferre. 20th Century,Concert,Standards. Score and parts. 65 pages. Musik Fabrik Music Publishing #3534799. Published by Musik Fabrik Music Publishing (A0.534483). This work was written in the first months of 1942 while Tailleferre was living in Grasse, in the socolled« Free Zone » of occupied France during the Second World War and was completed just asTailleferre was forced to flee France with her daughter. As the wife of Jean Lageat, who had been thesecretary of the French socialist Léon Blum during the « Front Populaire » period just before the Warand who was at that time in the US working against the Vichy Government, and as someone who wasnot unvocal about her political views, this could not have been a comfortable situation. Tailleferre left arecord of what she experienced during this period in an article written for the American music journal «Modern Music » which she wrote shortly after arriving in America in the Spring of 1942 :« Notwithstanding their staunch spirit of resistence, the people under German rule today areincreasingly bowed down under their burdens. By achieving the physical decline of the French, theNazis hope that spiritual collapse will ensue. However, after two years of quasi-famine, France remainspround and great, although the necessity of liberation grows daily more urgent.....For an artist to workunder these conditions is almost impossible. The mere effort of subsisting wastes time and absorbsenergy ; The means to work are also lacking.....Musical composition is made practically impossiblethrough lack of music paper. For more than a year, I sought in vain to find paper in Lyon, Marseillesand Nice on which to copy an orchestral score...Two years of experience under German rule havetaught me that all expressions of pride, dignity, spirit , aspiration of the human will can be made onlyclaudestinely. It is a historical truth that the human mind makes its greatest progress under freedom ».Under such circumstances, it is a miracle that this work exists at all. The three movement work wasdedicated to the famous Marguerite Long, for whom Tailleferre had already written several short worksfor piano solo, and François Lang, a pianist who was closely linked with the Group des Six and whohad performed in the première of the 1934 Concerto Grosso for Two Pianos, 8 Solo Voices, SaxophoneQuartet and Orchestra and for whom Tailleferre wrote two cadenzas for concerti by Mozart and Haydn. The work opens with sunny, optimistism in a mood similar to the opening movement of the ConcertoGrosso, but quickly the mood changes to more dramatic themes. The second movement seems tosubjectively express a rupture with the past and a tragic melancholy. The final third movement isextremely dramatic and almost frightening with it’s force. When Tailleferre left France in the Spring of 1942, having been warned by a neighbor that she wasgoing to be arrested if she didn’t leave immediately, she left the score in a two-piano version, probablydue to the fact that there was no music paper to be had to copy the score. When she returned to Francein 1946, she learned that François Lang had been deported to Auschwitz where he died. Musical life inFrance had been completely changed by the War years. Tailleferre put the work aside and forgot aboutit, perhaps wanting to forget the hardships that she had lived through and the loss of many of her friendsassociated with these years.Tailleferre's version for two pianos is published by Musik Fabrik and the work may be performed inthat version. It is clear however, that the work was intended to be orchestrated and the editors hope thatthe present orchestration will allow the work to finally be presented as Tailleferre conceived duringsome of the darkest years of the Twentieth century.

This is the famous wedding march from Op. 61 composed in 1842 and commonly performed as a recessional march at the end of a wedding. The piece was originally composed for orchestra then arranged for organ and performed by Mendelssohn himself.Mendelssohn: Wedding March Mendelssohn’s Wedding March is so popular that it’s difficult to imagine a wedding without it. Mendelssohn revered Liszt's virtuos.

Piano,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.549894 Composed by Felix Bartholdy Mendelssohn. Arranged by James M. Guthrie, ASCAP. Romantic Period,Standards,Wedding. Score and part. 23 pages. Jmsgu3 #3603417. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.549894). Score: 12 pages, piano part: 6 pages, tenor sax part: 4 pages. duration: ca. 5'. Mendelssohn revered Liszt's.

This piece, I admit, is a little satirical and at the same time filled with a touch of humour. It is for advanced pianist and can also be played as a military March. I'm sorry to say that but sometimes find such characters in our own army...But let's just laugh about it... That's what I had in mind with this composition....

Piano Solo, Violin - Intermediate - Digital Download Composed by Edward Elgar (1857-1934). Arranged by Flavio Regis Cunha. Romantic Period, Easter, Wedding, Funeral, Recital. Score, Solo Part. 8 pages. Published by Flavio Regis Cunha
Edward Elgar composed his Variations on an Original Theme, Op. 36, popularly known as the Enigma Variations, between October 1898 and February 1899. It is an orchestral work comprising fourteen variations on an original theme.<br> <br> Elgar dedicated the work "to my friends pictured within", each variation being a musical sketch of one of his circle of close acquaintances (see musical cryptogram). Those portrayed include Elgar's wife Alice, his friend and publisher Augustus J. Jaeger and Elgar himself.<br> <br> In naming his theme "Enigma" Elgar posed a challenge which has generated much speculation but has never been conclusively answered. The Enigma is widely believed to involve a hidden melody.<br> <br> The name of the variation IX (NIMROD) refers to Augustus J. Jaeger, who was employed as music editor by the London publisher Novello & Co. He was a close friend of Elgar's, giving him useful advice but also severe criticism, something Elgar greatly appreciated. Elgar later related how Jaeger had encouraged him as an artist and had stimulated him to continue composing despite setbacks. Nimrod is described in the Old Testament as "a mighty hunter before the Lord", Jäger being German for hunter.<br> <br> In 1904 Elgar told Dora Penny ("Dorabella") that this variation is not really a portrait, but "the story of something that happened". Once, when Elgar had been very depressed and was about to give it all up and write no more music, Jaeger had visited him and encouraged him to continue composing. He referred to Ludwig van Beethoven, who had a lot of worries, but wrote more and more beautiful music. "And that is what you must do", Jaeger said, and he sang the theme of the second movement of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 8 Pathétique. Elgar disclosed to Dora that the opening bars of "Nimrod" were made to suggest that theme. "Can't you hear it at the beginning? Only a hint, not a quotation."<br> <br> This variation has become popular in its own right and is sometimes used at British funerals, memorial services, and other solemn occasions. It is always played at the Cenotaph, Whitehall in London at the National Service of Remembrance. A version was also played during the Hong Kong handover ceremony in 1997 and at the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games. The “Nimrod” variation was the final orchestral composition (before the national anthem) played by the Greek National Orchestra in a televised June 2013 concert, before the 75-year-old Athenian ensemble was dissolved in the wake of severe government cutbacks.<br> <br> An adaptation of the piece appears at the ending of the 2017 film Dunkirk as part of the scoreEdward Elgar composed his Variations on an Original Theme, Op. 36, popularly known as the Enigma Variations, between October 1898 and February 1899.
