Easy Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1000135 Composed by Denny Dlabal. 20th Century,Contemporary,New Age,Romantic Period. Score. 6 pages. Denny Dlabal #6504259. Published by Denny Dlabal (A0.1000135). This is an original song composed for solo piano. The song is positive in nature and includes some chordal passages to add contrast to some of the other melodic parts. This song would be good for anyone that wants to improve their right and left hand coordination since the song contains some parts which require the right and left hands to work with alternating rhythms.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1321517 By Marlowe Haws. By Marlowe Haws. Arranged by Marlowe Haws. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary,Halloween,New Age. Score. 3 pages. Marlowe Music Productions #909979. Published by Marlowe Music Productions (A0.1321517). This is another of my earliest works that I have since polished up. This was the first song I ever wrote that I considered to be brilliant and really gave me the confidence and motivation to continue on my path to being an origianl composer. I've gotten tired of this talentless era that we live in where it's all about using technology to remaster and auto-tune and just cover the same old songs... This was my attempt to make something that is formless, no template for rehashing, but something truly original. I have tried to carry that spirit with my subsequent songs. I'd like to give you my art for free, but sadly this world wants me to be a slave to my employer and I'm not making enough money, so here I am trying to sell my music. I feel like the spirit of art aught to be a spirit of creation and giving. Modern art has perverted this spirit to one of copying and marketing... I hope you enjoy this, I put a lot of effort and heart into it.

Handbell - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.767674 Composed by Johann Cruger. Arranged by c.e. walz. Holiday,Sacred. Score. 2 pages. C.E. Walz #6081049. Published by C.E. Walz (A0.767674). One of three popular Thanksgiving hymns, Now Thank We All Our God makes a great BEGINNING HANDBELL piece since the melody is primarily all quarter notes. My friend Maestro encourages directors to work on the steady rhythm at a slower metronome reading, around 60 bpm, and working up to 90 bpm. The fermatas should be held for two beats, and there's only one measure that contains any eighth notes. If your players can count, they've got this in a couple of rehearsals, just in time for a Thanksgiving service. There are only 8 bells needed, which means you could cover this piece with only four ringers, two bells apiece. Key of Ab with no key changes, two pages. Performance time: 1:09 minutes.

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.985307 By The Chainsmokers. By Andrew Taggart, Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland, and Will Champion. Arranged by Jaan Varts. Pop. Guitar Tab. 62 pages. Jaan Varts #5742829. Published by Jaan Varts (A0.985307). Something Just Like This by The Chainsmokers & Colplay arranged for 3 guitars (rhythm, melody & rhythm 2). If you´re a beginner then the key to playing this arrangement is simplification - skip the small details and focus on the most essential stuff. The more advanced level = more details. I´ll cover it below for every part. The form and key is 100% the same as original so you can play along with the actual song. Share, like and subscribe if you enjoy this. More songs coming soon, so say tuned:) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The song is bult on G-A-Bm progression and the chords are played throughout the song. 1) Rhythm Rhythm part of Something Just Like This by The Chainsmokers & Colplay arranged for 3 guitars (rhythm, melody & rhythm 2). This is the easiest part of the arrangement. If you´re a beginner then start from here. It´s just variations of G-A-Bm chord progression with different rhythms and in different positions. 2) Melody Melody part of Something Just Like This by The Chainsmokers & Colplay arranged for 3 guitars (rhythm, melody & rhythm 2). As usual, the melody is the hardest part, since it features lots of slides and legatos. The chorus part features some funky rhythm playing as well. If you´re a beginner, then simplify as much as ou can – leave out all the embelishments, play simpler rhythms, leave out notes when there are more than one note played at a time etc etc. 3) Rhythm 2 Rhythm 2 part of Something Just Like This by The Chainsmokers & Colplay arranged for 3 guitars (rhythm, melody & rhythm 2). A little trickier rhythm part features some fingerstyle playing, also hiting the guitar as a drum. The strumming patterns are quite easy, but try to get a steady drum-like beat going on. In the choruses there are some power chords and in the ending we have some riffs as well.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.990774 Composed by Tiago Videira. 20th Century,Classical,Instructional. Score. 6 pages. Tiago Videira #2951387. Published by Tiago Videira (A0.990774). How is it like to be an only child in a small family? What if Mummy cooks amazing food, but dad is never present and granny memory is fading away?... Music has the ability to unleash new empathic experiences in any of us. My goal with this small suite was to recreate some classics through metaphors, analogy and a grain of parody. This programmatic suite has a pedagogical role since it allows the player to practice and develop technical skills required to play the canonical repertoire. Furthermore, it also invites players to be immersed into these family characters and to try to absorb and embody some of their emotional experiences which are required to best convey the meaning of the situations. As such, I expect these pieces to be suitable for the classroom, recitals or just for fun.

C Instrument - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1097054 Composed by Frank Meyer. A Cappella,Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Spiritual. Lead Sheet / Fake Book. 1 pages. Frank Meyer #701008. Published by Frank Meyer (A0.1097054). Since the year 1984 many people meet at the end of the year in Obermarchtal at the Danube/Donau to sing and make music together. Towards the end of the year 2020 it became very clear that the Corona virus would make it impossible to meet first time since more than 35 years. When I realized that, some words an a melody came to my mind and I wrote this canon for the participants of the Neustifter Musikwoche (www.neustifter-musikwochen.de). We met in some video conferences, talked and had fun in spite of the situation. And I gave this song to the participants to sing it and record the own singing. You can hear and see the result in the youtube channel form the Neustifter Musikwochen. Faith, hope an love are the them of the song, according to 1Kor 13,13. Its intention is not to lose hope and confidence, not even in times like these. Also in 2021 we could not meet singing together in Obermarchtal. But were looking forward hopefully. Note: The edition from 2021 published her contains a few small changes compared to the recording from 2020. ...... Fifteen Safari Duets for Tubas

Composed by Gregory Fritze. Classical Period, Contemporary Classical, Jazz, Method, Etudes and Exercises. Score. 38 pages. Published by Musica Nova USA
Fifteen Safari Duets for Tubas was composed for playing duets with my tuba students. The fifteen duets are at different levels of difficulty and various styles so that we always had duets to play no matter what ability of student. There is something in each duet for students to learn from the basics of tone production, rhythms, melodic phrasing, jazz, graphic notation, etc. Most are sight readable and some have been performed in concerts. They are all fun to play. Although for tubas, they may be played on any instrument.

In 1988 I spent a month in Kenya on safari and experiencing the African wildlife and culture, thus the inspiration for these duets that were composed soon after the trip in 1989 and 1990 and have been a regular part of my teaching ever since. Four of these duets are recorded on the compact disc “Tuba Safari” (Troy 1173) on Albany Records.

1. Elephants at Stave

This duet presents the cantabile style studied for playing the tuba. I find that this duet helps the student much like the melodies of Borgodni etudes. There are more elephants in Tsavo than anywhere else in Kenya. It was not uncommon to see large families of thirty elephants at a time.

2. Gallop – Thompson Gazelle at Amboseli

This duet provides an opportunity to read in a sharp key, D major, as well as basic rhythms and articulations. I find that the more advanced students can read in a faster tempo and other students can work in a slower tempo – a common choice in all of the duets. Large herds of playful Thompson Gazelle were a usual occurrence in most of the game parks in Kenya.

3. Rhinos at Nairobi Game Park

This waltz helps the student match phrasing in a cantabile setting. There are a few instances where the teacher (playing the first part) plays a phrase then the student plays a similar phrase. The rhinoceros is a very noble animal that can grow to more that 1,000 pounds and is known for its horn. The Nairobi game park is located just outside the city, giving a sense of surrealism to the panorama.

4. Giraffes at Nairobi Twiga Park

This is in a “rock” style with syncopated rhythms and cantabile melodies. The Nairobi Twiga park is just outside the city and is the only place where one can feed the giraffes. Along with their long necks they have very long tongues.

5. Warthogs at Ngulia

Legato scales and syncopated rhythms are the features of this duet. Warthogs have tails that are held upright when they run.

6. Baboons at Kiliguni

This duets alternates in rock style and swing. Baboons are sometimes a problem because they will try to steal food from the tourists’ tables. They will work together where one causes a diversion while the others steal.

7. Pastoral – Cape Buffalo at Samburu

The key of A for this duet gives variation for the students. Cape Buffalo are in large herds on the savanna. The Samburu Lodge dining area was built next to a watering hole. At the beginning of breakfast there were no animals, but in fifteen minutes more than 500 cape buffalo were at the water hole.

8. Song - Hippos at Mzima Springs

This is the easiest of rhythms and range of the duets, especially for the 2nd(student) part. Hippopotamuses can grow up to 4,000 pounds and spend most of their time sleeping in the water during the day. At night they go on land to hunt.

9. Leopards at Kimana Lodge

This duet is non-metric and uses graphic notation. This was a favorite duet of my students as many have never experienced this notation before. The leopard is a large predatory cat that usually hunts at night.

10. Colobus Monkeys at the Ark

This is an Invention in the Bach style. The Ark is a building that was built in 1969 at a watering hole for tourists to watch wildlife. The colobus monkey is black with white on its forearms and chest.

11. Zebra Migration at Masai Mara

This duet is in a “Medium Swing” jazz style. The great migration between the Masai Mara and Serengeti involves about two million wildebeest, zebras and other animals every year. It is considered one of the most impressive natural events worldwide.

12. Ostrich at Samburu

This duet works on double time and half time. The ostrich is the largest bird in the world. In Samburu there was an ostrich that hung around the lodge, her name was Margaret. She was very friendly with everybody but she would steal your hat.

13. Cheetah at Voi

This is another duet that includes graphic notation. The cheetah can run up to 80 miles an hour when chasing after prey. When not hunting prey it often walks very slowly.

14. Gallop – Gerenuk at Buffalo Springs

This gallop displays different types of articulation. The gerenuk is an antelope with a slightly extended neck so it can eat higher leaves from trees.

15. Lions at Mara Sopa

This duet is in the style of a fanfare. The lion is considered the king of the savanna.

Gregory Fritze is a prize-winning composer and Fulbright Scholar, as well as an active performer. He recently retired from Berklee College of Music where he was Tuba Professor and Chair of Composition, serving on the faculty from 1979 to 2016. He has written over one hundred compositions for orchestra, band, chamber ensembles and soloists. He has won over sixty composition awards both nationally and internationally including First Prize in the 1991 TUBA Etude Contest. His compositions include works published by several publishers in the United States, South America and Europe that have been performed extensively throughout the world. Many of his compositions are available on ITunes, Youtube and Soundcloud.

His compositions are recorded on Albany Records, MSR Classics, Crystal Records, Mark Records and others. He has been a guest lecturer, conductor and performer at many colleges, universities and music festivals in the United States, Canada, Japan, South America and Europe. He was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1954 and has Composition degrees from the Boston Conservatory and Indiana University. Chamber Orchestra - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.869356 Composed by Thomas Oboe Lee. 20th Century,Baroque,Classical,Contemporary,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 113 pages. Thomas Oboe Lee #15879. Published by Thomas Oboe Lee (A0.869356). Instrumentation: 1 flute, 1 oboe, 1 English horn, 2 bassoons, 2 French horns, timpani and strings.Program note: In the year 2010, my wife Kristin Beckwith and I went to Paris twice, the first time in May and the second time in December right after Christmas. The weather was magnificent in May. Our friends Seph and Roger met us there. Being long-time veterans of Paris, they took us all over the city: Le Marais, the Left Bank, Montmartre, Sacré Coeur, Père LaChaise cemetery, Avenue des Champs-Élysées, Jardin du Luxembourg, Jardin des Tuileries, Notre Dame cathedral, Eiffel Tower, the flea market at Porte de Clignancourt, the canal at Saint Martin, etc. Since the weather was so great we basically stayed outside the entire two weeks. My wife Kris said that we had to return next again to Paris to go inside the museums. So we did. The weather in Paris after Christmas was very damp and chilly. So we did indoor activities: Le Louvre, Musée D’Orsay, Palais Garnier, etc. We even attended a beautiful performance of Swan Lake by the Paris Opera Ballet at L’Opéra Bastille. I should also mention that on both occasions I met up with a former student of mine from Berklee, Joe Makholm. He makes a living in Paris playing jazz piano. Joe got us a gig at the Swan Bar in Montparnasse. On the first occasion we did it as a trio with a French bass player. I played flute. On the second occasion, we did it as a duo. Playing jazz in Paris? You can’t beat that!!! Early this year, Steven Lipsitt and I had a chat about my writing a new work for the Boston Classical Orchestra. My last work for the BCO was a piano concerto with Robert Levin as soloist. I told Steven that this time I wanted to write a symphony. He said, Sure. Go ahead. I told him it would be about Paris. He said he would put Mozart’s Paris Symphony on the same program. I said, Fabulous! Symphony No. 8 … City of Light (2011) is in five movements. 1. La Seine Presto, Moderato 2. Basilique du Sacré-Coeur Largo 3. Palais Garnier Allegro, Trio 4. Avenue des Champs-Élysées Allegro 5. Musée du Louvre Largo, Moderato This work is dedicated to my wife and muse, Kristin Beckwith. Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.895221 Composed by Traditional. Arranged by Fernando Ramos. Christmas,Pop,Traditional. Score. 3 pages. Fernando Ramos #6134249. Published by Fernando Ramos (A0.895221). Hear it on YouTube:https://youtu.be/5t8X77Spo-kI make piano solo arrangements for my students of songs that they love! My goal is to create something that sounds beautiful as a standalone piece of music, but most importantly, that it actually makes pianistic sense. Sometimes I even hide exercises in the arrangements that I want a student to work on. All of my arrangements are usually made for a specific student, so the results will always vary. This arrangement was made for an early intermediate student in level 3 of the Alfred's Masterwork Classics series. She is working on another piece where the RH crosses over quite a bit, so I decided to create a good practice etude-ish version of What Child is This, since we are also preparing for a Christmas Recital. The reprise of the main melody is identical in the RH and LH, except the RH crosses over the LH the entire time. Overall, the piece has a very mysterious feel that really suits the melody and lovely to hear. Be careful if the tempo is slowed down too much because the dissonances might stick out more than preferred, so the LH will have to be played at pp in order to not distract from the pretty melody.I give fingering and pedal suggestions.

Accordion,Double Bass,Guitar - Digital Download SKU: A0.1068894 Composed by Lars Ek. Folk,World. Full Performance. Duration 225. Lars Ek Cosmos Music c/o Musik & Underhållningsskrädderiet AB #1921499. Published by Lars Ek Cosmos Music c/o Musik & Underhållningsskrädderiet AB (A0.1068894). Something quite astonishing has happened in the Swedish accordion world during the last couple of years, we´ve got a new idol. It´s astonishing in two different ways: for us who know the accordion world it´s a fact that Lars Ek has been around as a professional accordionist for almost 20 years, since he finished school, second: he has become an idol playing music and in a style that has it´s roots 50 years back in the accordion music history. One could say that Lars Ek, today 35 years old, should have been 85, active in the 30´s. Himself, he confess that he feels kind of secret longing back to a time when accordionists were equilibrists, when accordionists played in a brilliant way, the golden age it was for all accordion music all over the world, an age that we will never meet again. It´s a type of music which is historical but not belonging to the museums, not dead, it´s a typical of music filled with life. Very much so thanks to Lars Ek. It´s a quite notable situation. Lars Ek has been playing the accordion for a long time, he has been playing all types of music that can be played on an accordion. Just some few years ago he met, via phonograph records, the music of Nils Lind and Ragge Sundquist (two legendary Swedish performers from the 30´s and the 40´s, both dead since long ago - they both founded a school and a style) and, of course, also Frosini. And then, finally, Lars Ek felt that it was exactly here, in this style where he belonged. Lars Ek finally came home. Some sloppy listeners say that Lars Ek is copying the music of Nils Lind. Those are listeners who don´t listen. Others say that Lars is a maniac - he plays on an accordion of the Raggie Sundquist brand from 1937 and since a couple of years he also owns and plays an accordion once owned by Pietro Frosini, manufactured in 1927. That´s not mania. The style asks for such instruments. It´s most correct that way. Lars Ek has become incredibly popular. There are many reasons. He has lots of personality, he is a stage personality, he shows enthusiasm and joy while performing, he knows how to attract an audience (and the girls say he´s very handsome). One other reason is that the music Lars performs finds lots of response from the audience. And, please, don´t think it´s only those old ones who were around in the 30´s who love the music - so do even the young ones! Lars Ek x 2 is the name of the record. The explanation is simple. Lars wasn´t able to find a second accordionist to assist him. So, thanks to the technique he is his own second accordionist himself in five of the tunes performed. There is one more explanation. Lars performs melodies linked to the names of Nils Lind, Ragge Sundquist and Frosini, but he also plays five compositions of hes own. Just to show how he wants accordion music to be composed. Lars Ek does not need any recommendation, his records sell anyway. But you´re going to get some final words. This records is, regarding style, very rare to be recorded in 1982, it´s a matter of looking back and to do so with lots of skill, a look back that golden age of the accordion. It´s also a very personal record. The inspiration may very well be Nils Lind, Ragge Sundquist and Pietro Frosini. But it´s Lars Ek who plays. In his personal way. Which means that this is a record played in a very personal way.

Lars Ek Cosmos Music c/o Musik & Underhållningsskrädderiet AB #1921479. Published by Lars Ek Cosmos Music c/o Musik & Underhållningsskrädderiet AB (A0.1068890).
