Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It was written and composed primarily by John Lennon and credited to Lennon–McCartney.Most of the lyrics came from a 19th-century circus poster for Pablo Fanque's Circus Royal appearance at Rochdale.One of the most musically complex songs on Sgt. Pepper, it was recorded by the Beatles on 17 February 1967 with overdubs on 20 February (organ sound effects), 28 March (harmonica, organ, guitar), 29 March (more organ effects) and 31 March.John Lennon wanted the track to have a carnival atmosphere, and told producer George Martin that he wanted to smell the sawdust on the floor. In the middle eight bars, multiple recordings of fairground organs and calliope music were spliced together to attempt to satisfy this request.i have attempted to vary the sound with the use of muted trumpets.The 1st and last verses are given to trumpet 1, and verse 2 taken by the trombone.The mp3 is the end of the mddle 8 circus section, leading back in to the verseFun for every player:Enjoy.

THE ARRANGEMENTA few years ago, good friends of mine were getting married and asked if I could arrange this song for their ceremony, to be sung by a tenor with piano accompaniment. I wanted to write a completely new take on this classic song, so decided to set it as a ballad, rather than the popular Stevie Wonder version which is uptempo. I also had a very good pianist and tenor soloist, so consequently, the difficulty of the arrangement is at an advanced intermediate level, with the tenor going up to a Bb and the piano part containing a lot of black notes! I was really happy with how it turned out, but unfortunately couldn't fly to Australia just for the wedding and they didn't record it. So now it's available to purchase, in the hope that someone would enjoy singing it and maybe even send me a recording! THE SONGWritten for the Motown label, it first was recorded by Barbara McNair, followed by a host of others in a ballad style, until Stevie Wonder pumped up the tempo and reached #2 on the U.S. Billboard charts. It eventually was the title track for his album of the same name, and features the amazing Funk Brothers, most notably James Jamerson for his incredible bass playing on this track, known to be one of the greatest example of his style. Stevie Wonder also provided the harmonica solo on the track.PRINTING TIPSBeautifully laid out, the score and parts are easy to read and available NOW for digital download. Published by Sam Wibowo (A0.1030368). Moles is a 4 minute string quartet which roots from two main concepts: (More famously,) Bach’s and Shostakovich’s musical cryptography and Elgar’s enigma. Hence, the name of the work is something to only be understood by the composer. The main harmonic motif comes from SA(MU)E(L) (WI)B(OWO) which then equates to E-flat, A, E-natural and B-flat which enharmonically become notes of two diminished chords. This motific process has also been done for 4 other people, which is to remain unknown. The development and the interaction between each motif represent and symbolise personal stories along with its rhythmic, harmonic, and expressive aspects such as bar numbers, inversions of chosen chords, and expression markings. The harmonic material throughout the work remains unstable, struggling to find functioning consonance. On the other hand, the rhythmic framework remains fairly stable and metrically comfortable, compensating for the instability of the harmonic material. Insight into the first 19 bars: The opening can be seen to canonically imitate, stating the main harmonic motif (E-flat, A, E-natural and B-flat) throughout the 4 string instruments. Each 5 roman numerals introduce each inversion, since 4 more inversions can fit into an octave before completing the cycle. Furthermore this represents the other 4 people in the piece all linking back to me, calming the rhythmic and harmonic variety through the gradual making of the chord: E-flat, E-natural, B-flat and A.
