Arranged after hearing Carole King perform her piece with 3 divas - Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan and Shania Twain - and loving the harmonies. I wanted to make this piece accessible to my SATB choir, a chance to sing the songs of our youth together.

Owain Evans #814912. Published by Owain Evans (A0.1218423). This arrangement is for voice and piano.A lot of the stylistic guitar and bass guitar playing has been transfered to the piano. As much as possible I've tried to transcribe as accurately as possible, but where the notation makes sense, the nuances in rhythm and singing style of ElvisIt includes basic chord symbols for ease of reference. Also I've especially taken care with the music engraving, which I consider to be a professional quality, using best practice standards.

This is an arrangement for male voice choir (tenor I, tenor II, bass I, bass II) with piano accompaniment. It's fairly accessible and not too challenging. The accompaniment has been especially thought through to give guidance / to help the choir be it in tuning or rhythm; the accomaniment is there to assist. The vocal ranges are accessible being not too high or low. I indended to allow each vocal section to have its fair contribution to the whole piece.

SATB Chorus & Piano - SKU: IZ.VMW237 Composed by John Schimminger. Octavo. 13 pages. Imagine Music - Digital #VMW237. Published by Imagine Music - Digital (IZ.VMW237). 8.5 x 11 inches.A setting for SATB choir of a text by contemporary hymnist Janine Applegate.Put down your nets and follow me, The Loving Master said; And so they followed, willingly, Not knowing where he led. We too are called from our concerns To follow our Lord's way. By trusting him, the heart soon learns To cast off yesterday. Do not be tempted by the cares Of long deluded dreams; Temptation's path is wrought with snares And never as it seems. The phantom riches we pursue Are never ours to gain. They fade before our eyes Like dew after a morning rain. Put down your nets and follow me, The Loving Master pleads; O may we follow faithfully, Well knowing where he leads.

Chamber Orchestra - Level 4 - SKU: A0.922635 Composed by Johann Strauss Jr. Arranged by Aaron Meier. Romantic Period,World. Score and parts. 7 pages. Aaron Meier #5792353. Published by Aaron Meier (A0.922635). Original by Johann Strauss II Reduction to String Orchestra by Aaron Meier Part: Full Score ONLY True to the original work by Strauss, this reduction for string orchestra features the ornaments and mystical writing that defines Strauss' polkas. There are optional percussion parts to be added at the discretion of the ensemble, however even without percussion the ensemble will sound full (the percussion acts as an ornament). Difficulty: Intermediate-advanced - advanced (best-suited for advanced student ensembles) ---Performance Notes: • Approximate length: 3:30 minutes • 1st Violins: In m. 1, trill a half step from a D♠to a D♮ • 2nd Violins:  - At m. 42, divide players by 3, with 2 players playing line A and the remaining player playing line B  - At m. 72-75, emphasize the E♠in the div. • Snare Drum: The buzz roll needs to be quieter than how it is played in the midi recording (*see YouTube link ↓) History: The Olga-Polka itself owed its creation to a Russian royal wedding which took place in St. Petersburg on 28 August 1857. On that day, amid accompanying splendour, the music-loving Grand Duke Michail Nikolaievich (1832-1909), youngest brother of Tsar Alexander II, married Princess Caecilie of Baden (1839-91), daughter of Archduke Leopold of Baden. Johann Strauss, who at that time was giving a summer season of concerts in nearby Pavlovsk, used the opportunity occasioned by the event to enhance his already enviable popularity with the Russian royal family and composed the Caecilien-Polka in honour of the lovely young bride. Indeed, it is clear from a letter which Johann wrote in late July 1857 to Carl Haslinger, his publisher in Vienna, that the new polka had been prepared well in advance of the wedding (the fair copy of the full orchestral score made for the publisher's engraver is dated 9 August) and was enjoying success even before the royal couple's official engagement on 16August 1857. Sometime after performing the Caecilien-Polka in Pavlovsk, Johann despatched the work to the Austrian capital where his brother Josef conducted its Viennese première, together with that of Johann's waltz Telegraphische Depeschen (op. 195, Volume 28), at his own benefit concert in the Volksgartenon Sunday 18 October 1857. The Wiener Allgemeine Theaterzeitung (16.10.1857) remarked that both works have caused a sensation in St. Petersburg and are truly genial Viennese sounds full of verve and melody. Since tradition demanded that the German Princess Caecilie adopt a Russian name - Olga Feodorovna - before her marriage, so Johann's Caecilien-Polka also underwent a change of identity. On 8 December 1857 Carl Haslinger announced the publication of Strauss's Olga-Polka, on the title page of which is the inscription: Dedicated to her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Olga, née Princess of Baden. It was under this title, too, that Johann himself first conducted the work in Vienna at a concert in the Volksgarten on 1 November 1857, shortly after his return from Russia. Reporting on this event, the Wiener Allgemeine Theaterzeitung (3.11.1857) observed: The 'Olga-Polka' is a most delightful, fragrant musical bouquet, full of fine, gracious rhythms. [excerpted from NAXOS Records] Kemp, Peter. Program Notes - About this Recording. NAXOS, 1993, www.naxos.com/mainsite/blurbs_reviews.asp?item_code=8.223232&catNum=223232&filetype=About%20.......... String Orchestra - Level 4 - SKU: A0.922634 Composed by Johann Strauss Jr. Arranged by Aaron Meier. Romantic Period,World. Score and parts. 1 pages. Aaron Meier #5792359. Published by Aaron Meier (A0.922634). Original by Johann Strauss II Reduction to String Orchestra by Aaron Meier Part: Violin I True to the original work by Strauss, this reduction for string orchestra features the ornaments and mystical writing that defines Strauss' polkas. There are optional percussion parts to be added at the discretion of the ensemble, however even without percussion the ensemble will sound full (the percussion acts as an ornament). Difficulty: Intermediate-advanced - advanced (best-suited for advanced student ensembles) --- Performance Notes: • Approximate length: 3:30 minutes • 1st Violins: In m. Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 1 - SKU: A0.921767 Composed by Lisa Waites. Christian,Christmas,Easter,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Score. 1 pages. Servant Song Music and Ministry #6626013. Published by Servant Song Music and Ministry (A0.921767). I wrote As We Leave because I wanted my congregation to be able to sing an upbeat, justice-focused benedictory Amen with contemporary-sounding music and active lyrics that speak of God being with us out in the world, fuelling us for the work of loving people and restoring our beautiful, broken communities that God so loves. I don't know about your denomination or local church practices, but the section for Choral Amens in the hymnal I use is very limited. So, I composed five different versions of the lyrics, so that you can use this Amen throughout the whole year. The alternative lyrics begin with Advent, then provide words to sing together on Christmas Eve. Next, you can use the Epiphany lyrics throughout that season, and then return to the main lyric for Lent, switching to alternative lyrics for Holy Week, and then finally returning to the main lyric for Ordinary Time. If you are worshipping in a non-liturgical church, that's okay, too - use the standard lyrics all year, or switch things up by using one of the alternative lyrics whenever your Pastor is preaching on the themes mentioned in those verses! For $4.59 US, you are getting five different versions of the piece, and you'll be able to use As We Leave all year long, if you so choose. This is a great value for an Amen you can sing together Sunday after Sunday. The music is set in F Major and the accompaniment is simple enough for beginners and early intermediate accompanists. I've added guitar chords to the score as well as the piano accompaniment, for those who play by chord symbol. A YouTube video with embedded lyrics will also be added soon - so that congregations who are meeting digitally during the pandemic will have something to listen to and to watch as they sing along from home.

Have ye bowed at his throne? Have ye pled for your words to be known? Have ye listened with care when you seek God in prayer? Have ye patiently waited alone?Have ye inquired of the Lord? Have ye thanked Him for all? Have ye given Him love to recall? Have ye knelt at his feet in a sacred retreat? Does He succor your soul when you fall? Have ye inquired of the Lord? Have ye begged for his grace? Have ye sought after his loving face? Have ye trusted his voice and then felt to rejoice? Have ye longed for his loving embrace? When ye inquire of the Lord, Ye are blessed with his care. He will lighten your fears as you share. He will know of your dreams even more than it seems. He will make sure you know He is there.

Lyrics:Everyone thinks that I'm nothing, Everyone thinks that I'm a burden Everyone thinks I'm unlucky None believes in my struggles No one thinks I'm unhappy None believes that I've something. It's go'n be alright It's go'n be okay It's go'n be so good; I'm leaving Then it's go'n be alright You'll have peace of mind You'd feel so good Like never before And you'd smile all day You'd see no more The trouble of mind Plaguing youIt's go'n be happy It's go'n be loving It's go'n be savour There after It's go'n be alright It's go'n be okay It's go'n be so good I'm leaving And you'd smile all day You'd see no more The trouble of mind Plaguing you. Then it's go'n be alright You'll have peace of mind You'd feel so good Like never before No one would believe me That I'm doing all I can And I say sorry I'm go'ng to a new path Never, never a burden You all be so happy Everyone thinks I'm the problem No one sees above the ocean Everyone thinks I'm the sickness No one sees me swimming the ocean No matter my impart All you see is wretched Want me unhappy Said I am unlucky, I'm a huge burden Taking vantage of you. I assure you that You'd never see me For I'll be so gone Deep in the wild Then it's go'n be alright You'll have peace of mind You'd feel so good Like never before And you'd smile all day You'd see no more The trouble of mind Plaguing you. It's go'n be happy It's go'n be loving It's go'n be savour There after It's gonna be alright.
