Akikaze no Kyoku (and#31179;and#39080;and#12398;and#26354;), written by Japanese musician and composer Mitsuzaki Kengyo in the first half of 19th century, is an important work in the sokyoku (koto music) repertoire. Mitsuzaki invented a novel tuning for this piece while also incorporating both the danmono (Edo period instrumental koto music) and kumiuta (song cycle) genres. This arrangement for guitar simulates the sonic effects of the koto and features the opening the six dan (movements) of the piece, which serve as the introduction to the song cycle. 9-page score with tablature.

Written in the 17th century by Japanese composer Yatsuhashi Kengyo, Rokudan no Shirabe (六段の調) is perhaps the best-known Edo Period composition in modern Japan.
