Al inicio, cuando aún se encuentra detrás del telón, el artista experimenta una mezcla de ansiedad, nerviosismo y desesperación. Sin embargo, también siente una profunda felicidad, entusiasmo y satisfacción por haber logrado su objetivo de actuar ante una audiencia.A continuación, se escucha una breve marcha que indica la entrada al escenario. Los artistas saludan al público y se preparan para su actuación. A pesar de que los nervios aún están presentes, tratan de relajarse y concentrarse en el momento. Su objetivo es controlar sus emociones y sumergirse en la obra para disfrutar plenamente de ese instante sublime.Finalmente, comienza la danza. El artista se libera de todas las emociones que lo embargaban al principio y se entrega apasionadamente a su actuación. Los ritmos irregulares de la música nacionalista y prehispánica lo llevan a través de diferentes tipos de danzas hasta alcanzar el control absoluto de la situación.La recapitulación consiste en un breve recuerdo de las distintas etapas que el artista ha atravesado. It depicts the hours of the day through solo and ensemble dances. Later performed on its own, the Dance of the Hours was at one time one of the best known and most frequently performed ballets. Published by Victor Rebullida (A0.1021521). --------------Divertimento was born from the proposal that at the end of 2007 makes me the TerpsÃcore Guitar Quartet, from Huesca (Spain) to compose a work for this group.The title comes from the very conception of the work: a series of short pieces as a free-form suite. In this work musicality is present in the foreground from beginning to end, overlaying itself in the presence of the important technique required of performers. In Divertimento the wide expressive range of the guitar is exploited, in this case amplified by the generous acoustic possibilities that the quartet makes available to the composer.The six movements that consist begin with Toccata, which recalls the baroque namesake pieces with their fast scales that run over until they reach a strum climax. It is followed by Serenata, a piece of great expressiveness as a song. Behind it, Intermezzo takes place in a context of Impressionist sonorities. Scherzo-vals, as the name suggests, is a waltz written in a humorous tone that precedes Night, in which the insistent harmonic chords create a dreamlike and somewhat disturbing atmosphere. The fast-paced final Dance evokes with its irregular rhythm the folklore of other lands.It is dedicated to TerpsÃcore Quartet.----------------------Divertimento nace de la propuesta que a finales del año 2007 me hace el Cuarteto de guitarras TerpsÃcore, de Huesca (España) para componer una obra para este grupo. El tÃtulo viene de la propia concepción de la obra: una serie de piezas breves a modo de suite con forma libre. En esta obra la musicalidad está presente en primer plano de principio a fin sobreponiéndose en presencia a la importante técnica exigida a los intérprete. En Divertimento se explota la amplia gama expresiva de la guitarra, en este caso amplificada por las generosas posibilidades acústicas que el cuarteto pone a disposición del compositor. Los seis movimiento de que consta comienzan con Toccata, que rememora las piezas homónimas barrocas con sus veloces escalas que se van atropellando hasta alcanzar un clÃmax rasgueado. Le sigue Serenata, pieza de una gran expresividad a modo de canción. Tras ésta, Intermezzo se desarrolla en un contexto de sonoridades impresionistas. Scherzo-vals, como su nombre indica, es un vals escrito en tono humorÃstico que precede a Nocturno, en el que los insistentes acordes en armónicos crean una atmósfera onÃrica y un tanto inquietante. La trepidante Danza final evoca con su ritmo irregular el folclore de otras tierras. Está dedicada al Cuarteto TerpsÃcore.

Jarabe Mixteco - Cuarteto para ClarinetesEl “Jarabe Mixteco†es un baile folclórico compuesto por siete sones recopilados de los tres estados de la República Mexicana que corresponden a la región mixteca de Oaxaca, Guerrero y Puebla. Se ha establecido como la danza representativa de la región Mixteca debido a la expectación y aceptación que ha generado en el público nacional e internacional. Los siete sones que lo componen provienen del folclore popular de las celebraciones comunitarias regionales anteriores al siglo XX. Las coreografÃas dancÃsticas hacen referencia a representaciones de animales que son parte de la vida cotidiana de los pueblos mixtecos y también simbolizan el proceso de enamoramiento entre parejas. La autorÃa del “Jarabe Mixteco†se atribuye a Antonio MartÃnez Corro y Armando González Bolaños, el primero como compositor musical y el segundo como creador del montaje dancÃstico. El “Jarabe Mixteco†fue completado en 1922, misma fecha en que se empezó a bailar. Sin embargo, no fue sino hasta 1929 cuando se presentó en el Palacio de Bellas Artes de la Ciudad de México. En 1934, se ejecutó en lo que fuera el “Homenaje Racial†de Oaxaca, que posteriormente se convertirÃa en el festival de la “Guelaguetzaâ€. Fue escenificado por Cipriano Villa y Adela Palma. En la “Guelaguetzaâ€, el baile y la música son ejecutados por la delegación de Huajuapan de León. Transcripción para Piano Solo por: Juan Carlos Cortés A. Obra que data del año 1939, dedicada al popular sector de la ciudad de Cartagena de Indias denominado como Chambacú. Grabado con la voz de la célebre cantante de San Bernardo, Cundinamarca y criada en Icononzo, Tolima: Matilde DÃaz y acompañado por la orquesta del propio compositor. Cumbiamba: Cumbia es apocope (Pérdida de una o varias letras al final de una palabra) de cumbiamba, este término tiene relación con la voz antillana cumbancha que en Cuba se significa jolgorio o parranda, ambas se deriva de la voz negra cumbe, baile negro de la Guinea continental española o kumba palabra que según el antropólogo Fernando Ortiz significa hacer ruido. La Cumbia tiene su dominio en todo la costa norte de Colombia, partiendo de Cartagena, donde se supone tiene su nacimiento aunque en El Banco, Plato, Mompox y Cienaga, también reclaman ese derecho. Esta danza tradicional se extendió por todo el departamento de BolÃvar para seguir a Sucre, Córdoba, Cesar, Atlántico y Magdalena. Generalmente se confunde cumbia con cumbiamba pero en la practica son dos cosas diferentes, ya que cumbiamba se refiere al festival o lugar donde se baila, no solo cumbia; si no otros ritmos como bullerengue, mapalé, porro, etc. También se le llama cumbiamba a las comparsas que bailan cumbia en los carnavales de Barranquilla. En el Magdalena también se le dice asà a la reunión de bailadores de cumbia, en tanto es la tonada musical y coreográfica, aire tÃpico predominante en todo el litoral atlántico. Piatti composed the small quartet (Quartettino) In vacanza (On holiday), a Sonata-form in three movements for four cellos, dedicating it to the young cellists from Bergamo in 1891. It was premiered at the final exams in the same year.It is a simply structured piece made of catchy melodies, thick of that irony, that carelessness that probably Piatti reckoned as a fundamental soft skill for young musicians. The first movement, Allegro con brio, bears the title Partenza(Departure), the second, Andantino quasi allegretto, Arrivo (Arrival), the third, Allegretto vivo, Danza rustica (Rustic Dance). One cannot help but notice the lack of a slow movement in the middle or of a Coming Back at the end. We can explain this only in recognising that Piatti, having come to the end of a long career, may have wanted to leave a wishing message to the younglings who were still at the beginning of their path: “may your life be as a long, endless holiday, with no slack moment; may the enthusiasm to push forward never falter you and may even old age have the cheerful rhythm of a danceâ€This score was published in 2018 and updated in 2023.
