The composer is unknown.Romance Anónimo (Anonymous Romance) is a piece for guitar, also known as Estudio en Mi de Rubira (Study in E by Rubira), Spanish Romance, Romance de España, Romance de Amor, Romance of the Guitar, Romanza and Romance d'Amour among other names. It is composed in the style of parlour music of the late 19th century in Spain or South America,History:The style of the piece is that of the parlour music of the late 19th century in Spain or South America. It has a closed three-part form, the first in the minor key and the second being in the major key, with the third part being a restatement of the first.The origins and authorship of the piece are unknown, hence 'anonimo'. It is thought to have been originally a solo instrumental guitar work from the 19th century, and has variously been attributed to Antonio Rubira, David del Castillo, Francisco Tárrega, Fernando Sor, Daniel Fortea, Francisco Vicaria l Llobet, Antonio Cano, Vicente Gómez, and Narciso Yepes. It has been suggested that doubts about its authorship may have been encouraged by a wish to avoid paying copyright fees and the desire of publishing companies to claim the lucrative copyright.Early recordings:The earliest recording of Romance is found on a cylinder from the Viuda de Aramburo label[3][4][5][6] featuring guitarists Luis and Simon Ramírez, which was made in Madrid sometime between 1897 and 1901. Medina e Hijo in Argentina before 1925 (probably in 1913, when the publisher ceased activities).Guitarist and composer Isaías Sávio (Montevideo, 1900 — São Paulo, 1977) published the work in 1959 with the title Romance de Amor (Estudo em Mi) Música de Antonio Rovira (Segunda metade do século XIX) He published information which cited Antonio Rubira as the author. (See Violào e Mestres Junio, 1966 / São Paulo, Brasil.Sávio gives information that Juan Pargas, who knew Rubira, gave the Estudio de Rovira to the guitarist Juan Valles in 1876 or 1878. Sávio mentions that the work became popular in Buenos Aires and began to be published by, among others, Spaniard Pedro Maza; and that the work appeared in the method of Pedro Mascaró y Reissig, published in Montevideo in 1919, with the title Conocido por Estudio de Rovira.Publishing company Ricordi of Argentina currently publishes the piece, and attributes authorship to Antonio Rubira.

Autor y compositor de la célebre danza Negrita.Este bambuco es tema de discusión por algunos estudiosos e investigadores musicales, los cuales suponen que este bambuco es original del maestro antioqueño Carlos Vieco OrtÃz por su estilo y forma melódica y armónica. Púes en algún momento tuvo un encuentro con este buen cantante, al cual le confió uno de sus cuadernos con sus obras para estudiarlas, y luego fue devuelto lamentablemente con algunas páginas arrancadas de dicho libro; a lo cual el maestro Vieco no mostró disgusto, ni hizo reclamo, dada su pacÃfica actitud y tranquilo temperamento.Algunos se basan en un sugestivo tÃtulo del pasillo de Carlos Vieco llamado: Saltando PolÃnes. A lo que el investigador Javier Gutiérrez Villegas afirma que:...No todas las canciones de Vieco tuvieron ese origen trascendente ni fueron estrenadas con solemnidad. Y dejando a un lado la actitud circunspecta, nos relata el nacimiento del pasillo Saltando polines: en 1932, plena guerra con el Perú, se juntaron en La Bastilla Alberto Ãngel Vallejo el aplaudido barÃtono, Roberto Muñoz Londoño, educador y poeta, y él. Se encontraban en ruinosa situación y planearon una gira que los sacarÃa de afanes. Imaginábamos montañas de plata, apunta don Carlos, con la voz maravillosa de Alberto, con las declamaciones de Muñoz Londoño y con mis interpretaciones al piano. Escogimos a Cisneros para comenzar. En pleno auge el Ferrocarril de Antioquia, aquella población era centro populoso y muy importante. Pues a la primera función asistieron el cura y el alcalde ya la segunda no fue nadie. Con los gastos de transporte, de hotel, de cartelerÃa, nos quedamos en la pura inopia. Con unas monedas sobrantes compramos pasaje de tercera para Muñoz Londoño que se encontraba enfermo y Ãngel Vallejo y yo resolvimos regresar a MedellÃn, saltando polines. Iniciamos la aventura y cuando llevábamos buen trecho apareció una máquina del Ferrocarril que transportaba veteranos para la guerra y nos recogieron. The famous Romanza was made popular by its inclusion in a French Movie "Les Jeux Interdits" and wrongly attributed to many guitarists. Composed by none other than "Anonymous", the earliest recording of the "Spanish Romance" originated from a cylinder recording featuring guitarists Luis and Simon Ramrez. The recording was made in Madrid sometime between 1897 and 1901.

Nu Tal (Mi Tierra) or My Land, is one of my first orchestral works, commissioned by Dr. Irving Ramirez, associate conductor of the El Salvador’s Symphony Orchestra.At the beginning, the idea was to set four small sketches of different images from my country. The 3rd movement was composed first, at that point I didn’t have a name for the work but after a talk with my mother in law, Aracely Sánchez; who is an expert in Salvadoran folklore, I decided to change the work’s name to Nu Tal (My Land in Nahuatl) and use some elements from our folklore. Then, I combined the idea I had from the images and the folk rhythms and tunes to create the whole work.The first movement of the work contains actually two movements. The first part is an image of a plane going to El Salvador. While the plane comes out of the clouds a beautiful land is seen through the window until the plane lands safely at its destination. Immediately, the folk part of the movement (movement II) begins with the invocation performed by the shell to the four cardinal points and then an autochthonous sound is presented welcoming our guests to this magical land, and the theme develops until the end of the movement.The third part was the first composed and it is an image including various ideas that represents a vision of El Salvador from different perspectives and the complexity of the different generations that are currently creating El Salvador’s demographic landscape.The fourth movement is an amalgamate of folkloric ideas and images. The beginning is the call from a church by the bells, then the brass presents the main theme of the movement, which is based on the Gregorian chant Salve Regina that I deconstructed using different rhythmic meters. Thinking Händel è un tributo al grande compositore Georg Friedrich Händel, coetaneo di Johann Sebastian Bach, che fu tra i più illustri rappresentanti del barocco musicale. Scrisse opere, oratori e musica strumentale, assimilando gli stili del Settecento che fuse in una sintesi personale e unitaria.I primi successiHändel nacque nel 1685 a Halle, in Germania, da una famiglia senza tradizioni musicali. Iniziò da bambino lo studio della musica, dimostrando subito un grande talento come compositore e organista. All'università di Halle intraprese anche studi giuridici. Nel 1703 si stabilì ad Amburgo, dove lavorò come violinista e dove ebbero luogo le prime esecuzioni di sue musiche, tra cui l'opera Almira, regina di Castiglia (1705).Negli anni successivi compì diversi viaggi in Italia, in Germania e a Londra, dove nel 1711 fu rappresentata con grande successo la sua opera Rinaldo. Nonostante sia oggi conosciuto soprattutto per gli oratori e la musica strumentale, ai suoi tempi Händel fu molto apprezzato per le opere teatrali, prevalentemente composte secondo il modello dell'opera seria italiana (forme musicali). Ambientata in epoca classica, di argomento letterario o di ambientazione mitologica, l'opera seria alterna, in lingua italiana, recitativi e arie. I recitativi, con un'intonazione vicina alla lingua parlata, servivano a far procedere l'azione ed erano accompagnati dal cembalo e a volte dall'orchestra. Le arie, con intonazione melodica, avevano la funzione di esprimere gli stati d'animo o 'affetti' dei personaggi e in esse i cantanti mostravano la propria virtuosistica bravura.Al tempo del soggiorno londinese risalgono anche due significative composizioni orchestrali: le tre suite Musica sull'acqua (1715-36), nate per accompagnare le feste sul Tamigi di re Giorgio I, e i Sei concerti grossi op. 3 (1730-34), ispirati al modello del musicista italiano Arcangelo Corelli.La cittadinanza ingleseNel 1719 Händel promosse la fondazione di una società musicale privata, la Royal academy of music, e ne diventò direttore. Nel 1727 ottenne la cittadinanza inglese e per molti anni dominò la scena musicale britannica. Oltre alle circa quaranta opere teatrali, tra cui Giulio Cesare in Egitto (1723), Rodelinda regina de' Longobardi (1725), Ariodante (1734), Alcina (1735), Serse (1737-38), in questi anni scrisse più di venti oratori ‒ composizioni di argomento religioso, per soli, coro e orchestra ‒ in forma drammatica e in lingua inglese (con narrazione, personaggi e dialogo ma senza scena teatrale), per lo più con testi tratti dall'Antico Testamento (tra cui Esther, 1718, Saul e Israele in Egitto, del 1738 entrambi).L'adesione di Händel alla cultura inglese non fu occasionale, ma profondamente sentita: lo dimostrano alcuni lavori vocali e strumentali, come Acis e Galatea (1718, con una seconda versione nel 1732) e l'Ode per il giorno di s.
