Saxophone Quartet,Woodwind Ensemble Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Soprano Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1477423 Composed by Mari Miura. Arranged by Katsuo Mizushina. Classical,Contest,Festival. 79 pages. FOSTERMUSIC.JP Digital Publishing #1054001. Published by FOSTERMUSIC.JP Digital Publishing (A0.1477423). Tropical Cafe - at the Resort This piece is originally in a flute duet and piano version, arranged by Katsuo Mizushina for saxophone quartet. The suite is inspired by a story in a café at a resort, but can also be performed as excerpts. We would also be happy if the performers could freely enjoy the piece by adding piano and percussion instruments for optional parts and ad-libbing.Please imagine your favorite café and play it. (Mari Miura)Click here for piano accompaniment sound files.A clear blue sky.Reflected in a sea of sapphire.Waves lapping on the dazzling white of the beach glimmer in the sunlight. The Tropical Cafe, a charming building full of tourists on the shore. It has a mysterious power that transports you into the world of whatever you order.Word of its power soon spread, and now business is booming. But who will visit today? I.Bossa Nova on the Beach Today’s first customers are a group of girls who came to the beach for a holiday.“We need something to match our excitement!”“What could capture the radiance of the sun reflecting on the beach?”They’re having the time of their lives as they decide what to order.“This would be perfect!”One of the girls points out the Beach Bossa Nova. II.Anniversary Waltz At high noon, an elderly couple walks in.“Today is our wedding anniversary.”“We always talked about returning to this beach after we got married here, but we never got round to it.”“Until today!”The sun shining. Seagulls soaring across the sky. Waves gently lapping the shoreline. It was exactly as they’d remembered.Just like the waltz they danced at their wedding, they order the Anniversary Waltz. III.Songs of Nostalgia As the sun begins to set in the west, a customer dressed in unfamiliar clothes enters the cafe.“I wonder where this sea leads to.”The sun shines on half of his face, casting a long shadow.Thinking of his hometown, he gazes at the menu. His eyes tinged with sorrow, he comes across the Song of Nostalgia. IV.Happy Samba Flaming torches are lit as the sun falls beyond the horizon. When you feel a little lonesome as an exciting day draws to a close, treat yourself to the cafe’s most uplifting item. The Happy Samba!May tomorrow be filled with happiness.Click here for other works by Mari Miura.

Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1091959 By Christopher Alexander. By Christopher Alexander. Contemporary,New Age. Score. 12 pages. Christopher Alexander #696091. Published by Christopher Alexander (A0.1091959). One can see so much of the world, even from the chairs of an Italian coffee shop. The music illustrates an old man witnessing a little girl playing with her balloon and a newly-engaged couple embracing and sharing their love and happiness, both pictures reminding the old man of the similarly wonderful times he made in his own lifetime. Rubato lyricism gives character to this song during the recurring main theme, allowing the pianist to create their own discretion during performance. Your audience will love hearing this work come to life.

Full Orchestra - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.955621 Composed by Caleb Liu. 20th Century,Contemporary,Film/TV,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 82 pages. Caleb Liu #6683167. Published by Caleb Liu (A0.955621). Main Titles of America was composed during shelter-in-place in July 2020. The piece was premiered in Winter of 2020 and was selected as a finalist in the 2021 National Young Composers Challenge. The composition was largely inspired by film music. In a film score, there is often a piece called Main Titles that plays during the opening scenes of the film. Typically, this piece encaptures all the major musical motifs present in the score of the movie. As the name suggests, Main Titles of America portrays the major themes of America in musical form. The three themes the piece highlights are opportunity, freedom, and love. The main musical motif appears early in the piece and is supported with eight notes and triplets from the harp and violas. The overall feel is adventurous and hopeful with energy building. The main motif is prominent throughout the piece, and almost every instrument plays the motif at some point. Each instrument represents a unique person who has the opportunity to flourish in America. The second motif represents freedom, and it is primarily played by the woodwinds. In particular, the flutes with their light, feathery sound help to express this idea. This motif is more playful and adds a touch of cheerfulness and lightness to the piece. It reflects the happiness of being free. The main motif and the second motif are intertwined just like opportunity and freedom. The third motif represents love and is prominent in the second half of the piece. The same eighth notes and triplets provide seamless energy and flow. While still maintaining a dream-like feel, this motif is meant to sound more grandiose and emotional. The sweeping themes and romantic harmonies are intended to portray the feeling of an ideal relationship. The piece ends with a triumphant brass chorale (the same motif from the beginning) followed by a tutti chord. It’s the musical representation of look how far we’ve come! The piece highlights the infamous American Dream - that anyone in America has the opportunity to pursue their dreams, find love, and create their own destiny.

Piano Trio Piano,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1228096 Composed by Fesca, Alexander (1820-1849). Arranged by Kamada, Mikio. Romantic Period. 9 pages. ACORDO Sheet Music #824092. Published by ACORDO Sheet Music (A0.1228096). Fesca, Alexander Ernst (1820-1849) was a German composer. He received his musical education from his father, a composer himself (Fesca, Friedrich Ernst), and showed great promise from a young age. Unfortunately, both father and son died young, with Friedrich passing away at 37 and Alexander at 28. Alexander composed chamber music, including six piano trios and two piano quartets, and the second movement (Adagio ma non tanto) of his Piano Trio, Op.12 is a particularly wonderful piece. Upon hearing the opening piano solo, one can't help but imagine the story that the piece is trying to convey. The melody, filled with happiness, appears in three different parts, and the interplay between them is enjoyable to play. The passionate and intense middle section serves to accentuate the happiness of the latter half. This is a piece that we highly recommend performing. This is an arrangement for Violin, Viola & Piano.

String Quartet Cello,String Quartet,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1432737 By The Beatles. By John Lennon and Paul McCartney. Arranged by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee. Pop,Rock,Wedding. 24 pages. Sarah Cellobat Chaffee #1013162. Published by Sarah Cellobat Chaffee (A0.1432737). Hey Jude is truly a song that needs no introduction! Released by the Beatles as a single in 1968, the song was originally intended as a missive to John Lennon's son Julian (or Jules, which later evolved into Jude), to help him come to terms with his parents' divorce. With lyrics encouraging listeners to put a positive spin on unhappy situations and reminding them not to let bad experiences keep them from seeking out love and happiness, the song's joyful message and catchy ending refrain made it an instant hit; it immediately topped the charts in a number of countries, and has been included on many critics' lists of the greatest songs of all time! This Cellobat arrangement for your string quartet maintains the catchy melodies, beautiful harmonies, dynamic passion, and of course the beloved ending refrain of the original for a chart you and your audience will love. Originally written for a wedding ceremony, this will also be perfect for receptions, parties, cocktail hour, solo & ensemble contest, or any other occasion you want to get your audience singing along! Rated intermediate; this will be playable for students and easily sightreadable for professionals.Sarah “Cellobat” Chaffee is an in-demand acoustic & electric cellist and string arranger. Currently, she performs with legendary rock band Aerosmith in their “Deuces Are Wild” residency show, and she is the principal cellist for the Raiders House Band, playing for a crowd of 60,000 at all of the team's home games. She also plays with many other groups including Premiere Wedding Music, Bella Electric Strings, the Femmes Of Rock, and David Perrico’s Pop Strings Orchestra. Sarah has performed and recorded with numerous other artists including Disturbed, Mötley Crüe, Celine Dion, Halsey, Michael Bublé, Sarah Brightman, and Lady A. She is the exclusive arranger for a number of award-winning wedding and event companies all across the United States, including Premiere Wedding Music, Las Vegas Music Oasis, and Impulse Strings, and she has created custom arrangements for many other ensembles all over the world. Piano Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1014258 Composed by Yik Khai. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score. 5 pages. Yew Yik Khai #3036613. Published by Yew Yik Khai (A0.1014258). Looking Back by Yik Khai. This is my first ever composition for piano. Hope you find it enjoyable to listen and play. :)The piece depicts someone, who has gone through so much in life - be it happiness, sorrow, triumph or grief, stopping for a moment and looking back. Turning around and taking a good long look of the past and letting all sorts of memories gush into his mind, bringing back all those long forgotten nostalgia. The intro of the piece, is when he sits down, his mind slowly steps out from the present reality and starts to wander off in search of the past. Throughout the piece, he encounters fond memories which will always be a joy to think of, and also bad memories, which he is powerless to amend, and so lets them pass on like a flowing river. At the end, he steps back slowly into the present, after an amazing short trip through the life he has lived. The piece is generally played with pedal throughout with rubato at a relaxed tone. Don't rush the piece by following the tempo markings exactly, adjust to your own liking and the most important part is that I hope you can relax, enjoy the piece when you're playing it. ;)Enjoy the YouTube video : https://youtu.be/s41T1AYHXjQFeel free to contact me at yewyk@live.com.my , Follow me on Instagram @yikkhai

Descant recorder - intermediate - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q54875 Method for descant recorder. This edition: performance book. Fun and games with the recorder. Downloadable, Tune book. Op Tune Book 2. Schott Music - Digital #Q54875. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q54875). English.A special method for beginners. First published by Schott in German in 1990. The translation and adaption into English has been made by Peter Bowman. three Volumes for the descant recorder which advance in small steps and include many playful elements suitable for both group and individual lessons. • Discover the adventure of learning the recorder • Make real progress through games: breathing • A mixture of lively new and traditional tunes • Three supplementery tune books each with a sheet of stickers • Teacher's commentary • Join Dotty-do-a-lot and her friends in the exciting orld of music Fun and Games with the Recorder is a comprehensive recorder tutor covering all stages from the first notes of the beginner up to the point of preofessional instruction for budding performers. Although the recorder is often the instrument with wich children will make their first musical discoveries, it is also an instrument of the highest artistic merit. This series of books tries to link these two extremes, providing a carefully planned pathway between first, playful contact with the instrument and professional recorder playing. The three Tutor Books are suitable for use both with small groups and for individual tuition. Progress is methodical and is made in small steps placing great value on consistent work with breathing, sound production and the development of rhythmic security. In the Tutor books we speak directly to the child and provide carefully planned, precisely formulated exercises. We recognise that some children learning the recorder will not yet be able to read, but hope that this will provide an opportunity for a parent or teacher to become involved in the learning process. Each step in this process should be fun and accessable to both the parent/teacher and the child. Tutor Book 1 is intended for children from about six years of age. Previous musical experience is not essential but undoubtedly would prove useful. It concentrates on the notes B, A, g, E1, C2 and D2, leaving sufficient time and space for the development of articulation, rhythmic security and breathing techniques. Tutor Book 2 adds the notes C1, D2, F2, E2, F2 and B flat, whilst Tutor Book 3 completes the range up to C3 - at which point the treble recorder can be introduced. Tutor Books 1, 2 and 3 are complemented by Tune Books 1, 2 and 3. The tune Books are matched to the stages of learning process of the Tutor Books and provide additional practice pieces and exercises, sometimes with accompainment. In the Teacher's Commentary we explain the teaching methodology behind the tutor and provide stimulation for ideas for lessons. It will be helpful if the child has a manuscript book of her or his own, or some manuscript book. Dotty's Note Book (ED 12641) is specially designed for the purpose, with large staves suitable for children as well as plain pages for words and pictures. We wish users of this tutor every success and happiness with their recorder playing.

Chamber Orchestra - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1011208 Composed by Franco Esteve. Contemporary,Film/TV. Score and parts. 17 pages. Franco Esteve #4601475. Published by Franco Esteve (A0.1011208). The Hunt is the title track to my modern, classical crossover, concept album, The Hunt. The Hunt is the hunt of life, hunting for health, for life, for happiness, for love, for ideas, for creativity, for success. The song represents the drive, the moving, the launch, that hope, that happiness, when you set out to do something in your life. From the album booklet (as it's a concept album, each song, though independent, has an overarching story):The effort has paid off. The day is here. The mood is happy. Success awaits. Let's go.Let's do it. It's sitting there for the taking.I'm in the zone. I'm in the flow. The huntress has shown me the bounty, and I'm ready to take it, to receive it, to enjoy it. I deserve it.Though it was written with larger groups in mind or small orchestras, keeping it in a way quite simple, it can most likely be played with 2 clarinets, a cello, and a trumpet. I can imagine it can work quite nicely with a school orchestra or any small ensemble, even if some might need to make some minor adjustments to how it's played. It's meant to be played in an upbeat and happy fashion, and the trumpet should be sexy and fun. It'll be fun to hear how others interpret it.The PDF includes the full score and all 4 individual parts (Clarinet, Clarinet Section in Bb, Cellos, Trumpet Section in Bb). The music is 2 minutes and 41 seconds (2:41).Thank you for your interest in my music. I hope y’all enjoy playing it as much as I did composing it.Don’t forget to keep up to date with everything Franco Esteve:Website: http://www.francoesteve.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/seefrancoesteveTwitter: https://www.twitter.com/FrancoEsteveInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/seefrancoesteveSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4VMSPHtolbzozjH4OY0I6BMy music is also available on all major, online music stores and streaming services, including:Bandcamp: https://francoesteve.bandcamp.comCDBaby: https://store.cdbaby.com/Artist/FrancoEsteveSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4VMSPHtolbzozjH4OY0I6BiTunes/Apple Music: https://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/franco-esteve/894690746I'm a BMI affiliated artist and you can contact me using the contact form at:http://www.francoesteve.com or through Facebook or Twitter. Fugue: "Wear Pearls and Smile" (A Pairing with Beethoven's Symphony #2) - Flute 1

Flute Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1018922 Composed by Benjamin Harry Sajo. 20th Century,Contemporary. Individual part. 4 pages. Benjamin Sajo #6072947. Published by Benjamin Sajo (A0.1018922). Fugue: Wear Pearls and Smile is, on the outset, a fast, rambunctious adventure for many voices playing at the same time. It was conceived as a pairing for the equally vivacious second symphony of Ludwig van Beethoven–his 250th birthday is this year–but can stand on its own as one of my hardest, most challenging works to cook up.This piece is dedicated to those forced to appear positive when internally they’re falling apart. The title is inspired by a quote that’s been with me for a while, Why is it that men can be bastards and women must wear pearls and smile? by Lynn Hecht Schafren, the celebrated American jurist famous for campaigning for gender equity in courts. I’m taking the quote out of its initial context, but the power of that quote, for me, exemplifies how hard it is to maintain a sense of emotional decorum and dignity when you’re authentically a hot mess. And what’s more of a musical hot mess than a fugue? There are two realities to this piece. I’ll quote Dmitri Shostakovich, from his autobiography: The rejoicing is forced, created under threat, […] It’s as if someone were beating you with a stick and saying, ‘Your business is rejoicing, your business is rejoicing,’ and you rise, shaky, and go marching off, muttering ‘Our business is rejoicing, our business is rejoicing.’ On the one hand, it is insincere happiness, cloying perhaps. But the other truth, I’ll quote Oscar Hammerstein II, from The King and I: While shivering in my shoes / I strike a careless pose / And whistle a happy tune / And no one ever knows, / I'm afraid. I forced myself, against all impulses of my current being, to forge happiness. This piece, with its origin being a mental puzzle (fugues are puzzles), it became a construct where I could lift myself up and regain a sense of purpose. Therefore, it is invented–out of a literal need to survive–pure, genuine happiness.Future Performances: If you are interested in performing this work, please e-mail me.ABOUT THE COMPOSER: Benjamin Sajo (b. 1988) is a Canadian composer of contemporary classical music, as well as an educator. Since developing a fiercely independent creative voice upon the completion of his studies at Western (2010) and McGill Universities (2013), he continues to find inspiration from the intersection of mythology, art, and nature upon the contemporary human experience. In 2019, he released his premiere album of original music, The Great War Sextet: Canadian War Poetry with Trombone & Strings , with support from the Ontario Arts Council. Clarinet Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1018929 Composed by Benjamin Harry Sajo. 20th Century,Contemporary. Individual part. 5 pages. Benjamin Sajo #6072959. Published by Benjamin Sajo (A0.1018929).
