Jingles and Fanfare (2020) is a set of four movements (album) for four french horns, appropriate both for music school students and professional concert artists.PAVEL TROJAN was born on 14th August 1956 in Domažlice. Between 1977 and 1982, he studied composition with Ilja HurnÃk at the Prague Conservatory; after that, from 1982 until 1989, he went to attend the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where he studied in the class of Jiřà Pauer.The composer has extensive chamber, orchestral and musical dramatic work, which includes both opera and musical. In his work he puts emphasis on melody, brevity and clarity.He has been working at the Prague Conservatory since 1986, at first as a music theory tutor, and from 1991 as a music composition teacher. From 1992 until 2004, he was the vice director of the conservatory until being appointed the director in December 2004 (until July 2018). He is currently teaching a composition. Main works:Piano Concerto (1989), Missa solemnis (1998), Variations on a Theme by and Written in Honor of Václav Trojan (2006), Sinfonia giocosa (2008), Piano Trio No. 2 (2009), Pastoral Fairytale (Opera, 2012), Concerto for Violin and Orchestra N. 2 (2015), The Cross of Zavis (Musical, 2016).

This arrangement adapted for cor anglais e piano was written keeping the characteristics of the original work, in order to be performed by young music students who want to enter the symphonic music. Besides, it can also be used by professional musicians, for recitals, repertoire, academic presentations and didactic material. As much as it is a funeral march, it is well suited for any musical performance occasion. The transcription is faithful to the structure, with only one change of key, so that it is comfortable for all the instruments in the formation, as well as for use in ensemble practice between musicians of different traditions. Ludwig van Beethoven began concentrated work on his Symphony No. 7 in A major Op. 92 in 1811, it was completed in 1812, and was dedicated to Count Moritz von Fries, and premiered in Vienna on December 8, 1813. It is considered a remarkable example of the more ebullient side of Beethoven's compositional personality and evidence that even after the onset of deafness, he still found cause for musical optimism. The second movement Allegretto is a funeral march in everything but name. Often several contrasting melodic ideas are made to coexist, as if Beethoven were imagining several processions converging on the cemetery at the same time. As he was working on this symphony during the years of the Napoleonic Wars, this experience was probably within his experience. It was also used as the soundtrack to the film Knowing, by director Alex Proyas and starring Nicolas Cage, where it is used in the final scene of the film. Beethoven called Symphony No. 7 his most excellent symphony, and a music critic of the time reported, this symphony is the most melodically rich and the most pleasing and comprehensible of all Beethoven's symphonies..

The Praludium and Postlude were originally written for keyboard. Bruckner was probably the finest organ improvisor of his time, but he wrote very few pieces for that instrument. The Chorale is adapted from an early quartet for men's voices c. 1848. Fortunately these three pieces work perfectly together for four horns. Bruckner's unmistakable harmonies, counterpoint, and drama are all present in this work. All attempts were made to create an edition that accurately reflects Bruckner's music as if he had originally written it for horn quartet. Enharmonic spellings were retained, and the articulations and dynamics were adjusted to both reflect Bruckner's intentions while making the music appropriate for live performances. Praludium, Chorale, and Postlude for Four Horns is a perfect piece for recitals, festivals, weddings, and any other ceremony.

The refrain is an early example of an English lullaby; the term lullaby is thought to originate with the lu lu or la la sound made by mothers or nurses to calm children, and by or bye bye, another lulling sound (for example in the similarly ancient Coventry Carol)There are a number of surviving medieval English verses associated with the birth of Jesus which take the form of a lullaby, of which this is probably the most famous example.
