Piano Solo - Level 4 - SKU: A0.596585 By Queen. By Freddie Mercury and Frederick Mercury. Arranged by Juan MarÃa Solare. Rock. Score. 5 pages. Juan Maria Solare #5214229. Published by Juan Maria Solare (A0.596585). Love Of My Life -composed by Freddie Mercury- is one of the most beautiful ballads in the history of rock music, and a fantastic song to play as piano solo. This is not a simplified arrangement. Is an arrangement that will sound quite like the original - with the obvious difference that all music and secondary melodies must be played by a single instrument - the piano. This version follows the studio recording, not the version made by Queen for their live performances. My score includes chord symbols, in case you prefer to play them instead of reading exactly each note I've written. You can have a listen at YouTube (and soon on Spotify and other digital platforms): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0J013MNcNU Love Of My Life was included on Queen’s album A Night at the Opera (1975). The ballad was composed for Mary Austin. Freddie Mercury said about this song: Love Of My Life is adapted on stage for guitar, but it was written on the piano. I've totally forgotten the original and if you asked me to play that now, I couldn't. Sometimes, I have to go back to the music sheet, and I can't read that well either. (Queen Archives – Freddie Mercury Interview, Melody Maker 05-02-1981) I hate this thing about trying to recreate the albums on stage. We sometimes deliberately change. Look at 'Love Of My Life', for instance. On record I play piano on that but on stage it's just Brian playing the guitar and me singing it, because it works on stage better that way. (Love Of My Life – Queenpedia.com – Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon, Discography, Bibliography, Charts.)

Score and parts. 13 pages. Lyons Music Services #3683999. Published by Lyons Music Services (A0.767411). This is an arrangement of the song as heard in the film Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. The melody is shared between the Clarinet (1st verse) and the Horn (2nd verse). I did this mainly because of the low tessitura of the vocal part which much better suits these instruments. The other parts all have important parts to play.

String Quartet String Quartet - Level 5 - SKU: A0.1006442 Composed by David Jaedyn Conley. 20th Century,Classical,Contemporary,Film/TV,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 113 pages. Mydnyte Publishing #2016293. Published by Mydnyte Publishing (A0.1006442). This is a programmatic piece about nightfall, night, and the dawn. Having worked primarily nightshift for the past few years, my life began a somewhat alternative nature – my day time was illuminated by the moon, and I watched the sun rise every day for three and a half years…I saw the city through different eyes, and watched as various denizens of the night would emerge and cavort beneath The Midnight Sun. I was exposed to an entirely different culture and learned that the city really didn’t sleep after all. The piece starts with the decline of the sun as the shadows grow longer and the creatures of the night begin to emerge beneath the stars. Secondly, we observe the midnight moon which acts as our illumination in the dark of night. Continuing on, the piece begins its celestial dance among the stars of the Northern hemisphere and finally ends with the emergence of dawn – the night slipping away like fragile tendrils of fog, or the vague ether of a dream. David Jaedyn Conley, 2005 Composer David Jaedyn Conley moves easily between the stridency of the Moderns and the sweetness of the Romantics. He is equally adept at writing polyrhythmic ensemble percussion and lyrical contrapuntal melodies. The result is both lush and austere, always evocative. CNET.COM.

Lyons Music Services #3683997. Published by Lyons Music Services (A0.767410). This is a brand new arrangement of this well-known song as heard in the film Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. The melody is shared between the Cello (1st verse) and the 1st Violin (2nd verse). The cello part goes quite high, so spends a bit of time in tenor clef. The viola part also moves into treble clef for a short period, so I have placed the song into the advanced intermediate category for this reason.

Piano Trio,String Ensemble - SKU: A0.1501207 Composed by Antonio Vivaldi. Arranged by Neil Crossland. Baroque,Classical. 43 pages. Neil Crossland #1077165. Published by Neil Crossland (A0.1501207). My arrangement of Vivaldi's Spring Concerto from The Four Seasons breathes new life into this timeless masterpiece. I aimed to capture the vibrant energy and delicate nuances that define Vivaldi's original composition while introducing fresh elements to engage modern listeners. The arrangement opens with the familiar, lively Allegro, where I've emphasized the interplay between the strings, creating a dynamic conversation that mirrors the awakening of nature in spring. In the second movement, the Largo, I've highlighted the pastoral serenity through a delicate balance of the melody, allowing the solo violin to sing with a gentle yet expressive tone, underscored by a rich harmonic texture in the accompaniment. This movement evokes a peaceful landscape, where the listener can almost feel the warmth of the sun and the gentle breeze. The final Allegro portrays the exuberant dance of spring. I've infused this section with rhythmic vitality and a playful spirit, enhancing the contrast between the soloist and the ensemble. My arrangement pays homage to Vivaldi’s genius while offering a contemporary perspective that invites the audience to experience Spring with renewed appreciation and joy.

Concert Band - SKU: A0.495192 Composed by Moises Mendoza. Contemporary. Score and parts. 67 pages. Published by Moises Mendoza (A0.495192). I composed this piece because I wanted to get myself used to composing for large ensembles, wind ensemble particularly. This composition took the most time and energy in creating the biggest work I have taken on thus far. This piece allowed me to get a better insight of my creativity as well as incorporate the lessons I have learned from my music professors. The experience was well worth it for I now know what I am capable of in my compositions and I look forward to working on more works in large ensembles in the future. During the time I composed this piece, I was expecting to have it performed around April 2020. However, that was around the time when COVID started spreading around the world and so that experience was lost to me. I hope someday it will be performed under better days.

JoeCopio Music LLC #53329. Published by JoeCopio Music LLC (A0.876449). MY SWEET LYDIA Back to School 2015 From PAPA’S FAMOUS DANCES by Joe Procopio MY SWEET LYDIA is a dance written and arranged by Joe Procopio for a small ensemble, band, stage band or combo. It was originally composed for a small band with flexible instrumentation. It may be performed with only two Saxophones (Alto Sax I and Alto Sax II) and a standard backup with Piano/Keyboard, Guitar, Bass and Drums. In addition, any combo may be augmented by adding any or all of the parts included for Flute, Clarinet, Tenor Sax, and Baritone Sax. This flexible or variable instrumentation of MY SWEET LYDIA makes it unique and perfect for schools and colleges that do not have a permanent roster of music students entering their music programs annually. It also eases the burden for Directors searching for good music to perform for groups with ever changing numbers of music students. What’s more, MY SWEET LYDIA has a section open for solos to enable the ensemble to feature players who can improvise well enhancing not only the group’s enjoyment but also everyone’s listening pleasure. This piece has been performed by College and High School students in many major concert events all along the East Coast with great success. It is published separately and in a set entitled PAPA’S FAMOUS DANCES PART 1 from the sets PAPA’S FAMOUS DANCES Part I and Part II. Each Part contains 3 Dances. I have adapted the audio here for synthesizer so that it may be previewed. It is one of 6 works named and dedicated to each of my 6 Grandchildren: Lilly, Mary, Lydia, Emma, Joey and Wilson. Instrumentation for MY SWEET LYDIA includes SCORE and parts for: ALTO SAX I ALTO SAX II TENOR SAX BARITONE SAX FLUTE CLARINET PIANO/KEYBOARD - GUITAR - BASS - DRUMS VITA Joe Procopio is a master musician and teacher with proven success for over 50 years. Piano,Viola - Level 4 - SKU: A0.1228636 Composed by Joseph P. Holbrook. Arranged by Hyrum Kohler. Christian,Easter,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. Score and part. 8 pages. Hyrum Kohler #824692. Published by Hyrum Kohler (A0.1228636). I wanted to play a hymn in church without simply playing the same thing three times in a row. And, without words, I wanted to express the tension and pain that occasionally and inevitably accompanies trying one's best to live a good life. This arrangement is simultaneously fresh, familiar, and reasonably challenging for the performer. This is my go-to for playing in a church setting, but it can also fit right in to a pedagogical or classical recital scenario. The traditional tune wears different clothes throughout the piece, having variance in time signature, key signature, and mode (dipping into minor). This is a simplification and compression of my original arrangment for string quartet. I originally intended this to be for viola, but it just so happened to fit in the violin's range; I left the part in treble clef to accommodate both options. The piano part is somewhat easier to play than the violin/viola part (evidenced by how I can kind of play it), but it still serves a collaborative or duet role, sharing and passing the melody betwen parts.

String Ensemble,String Quintet Viola - Level 3 - SKU: A0.813692 Composed by Gustav Holst. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. 20th Century,Contemporary,Standards,Wedding,World. Score and parts. 9 pages. Regis Bookshar #6473989. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.813692). I Vow to Thee, My Country (Thaxted) (Bb) (Viola Quintet) - Intermediate - . This marvelous arrangement of I Vow to Thee, My Country, a hymn tune based on the Andante Maestoso section from Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity from Gustav Holst's The Planets, would be a fabulous addition to any music library and could be performed for church services, especially Weddings and Funerals, but would be appropriate any time during the church year. However, if you are looking to perform this selection for concerts or recitals, I would suggest you look for the arrangement of Jupiter (Andante Maestoso from Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity from The Planets), also by Regis Bookshar. These arrangements are suitable for high school and college students but professional musicians would also enjoy playing these selections as well. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (9 pages). This selection is one of the many arrangements from The Regis Bookshar Trumpet Ensemble's extensive music library which are being made available for the first time. We have performed the Trumpet Quintet version of this composition quite often for numerous weddings and other special occasions. The Planets, written between 1914 and 1917 by the English composer Gustav Holst, premiered at the Queen's Hall in London, on September 29, 1918 for an invited audience of about 250 people. In the fourth movement, Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity, Holst portrays Jupiter's supposedly characteristic abundance of life and vitality. Nobility and generosity are allegedly characteristics of those born under Jupiter, and in the slower, middle section marked Andante Maestoso, perhaps the most well-known theme from The Planets (and the theme on which this arrangement is based), Holst provides a broad tune embodying these traits. In 1921, Holst adapted the theme to fit the patriotic poem I Vow to Thee, My Country by Cecil Spring Rice, and was written as a unison song with orchestra. It did not appear as the hymn tune until 1926, when Holst harmonized this melody, named Thaxted, named after the English village where he had lived for many years. Holst's friend Ralph Vaughan Williams included it in Songs of Praise. It has since been performed at numerous occasions, most notably for the wedding of Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales in 1981, and also at the funerals of Princess Diana in 1997, Margaret Thatcher in 2013 and Senator John McCain where it was performed at the Washington National Cathedral on September 1, 2018. In addition to being used as the melody for the solemn, patriotic hymn I Vow to Thee, My Country, other settings of this hymn tune also include O God, Beyond All Praising, by Michael Perry in 1982, O Spirit All Embracing by Delores Dufner in 1995 and We Praise You and Acknowledge You, O God, a paraphrase of the Te Deum Laudemus by Stephen P. Starke in 1999.Regis Bookshar thought that it would be wonderful if other instrumentalists could have the opportunity to play this beautiful melody, so, in addition to the Trumpet Quintet version and this version for a Viola Quintet, he has made quite a few other arrangements of this selection. There are Quintets readily available for a wide variety of instrumental ensembles. Please take the time to look for other versions of this composition. You may find something else that may also suit your needs. I would also encourage you to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar, as well, as there are numerous arrangements in a variety of styles, also available for purchase. You may find something else which might interest you. Please continue to check periodically because new arrangements are added as often as possible. I'm certain that this beautiful arrangement of I Vow to Thee, My Country based on the Andante Maestoso section from Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity from Gustav Holst's The Planets, will continue to entertain bo.

I'm certain that this beautiful arrangement of I Vow to Thee, My Country based on the Andante Maestoso section from Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity from Gustav Holst's The Planets, will continue to entertain both performers and audiences alike.

Brass Ensemble Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 3 - SKU: A0.813675 Composed by Gustav Holst. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. 20th Century,Contemporary,Multicultural,Standards,Wedding,World. Score and parts. 9 pages. Regis Bookshar #6473847. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.813675). I Vow to Thee, My Country (Thaxted) (Bb) (Brass Quintet) - Intermediate - . Starke in 1999.Regis Bookshar thought that it would be wonderful if other instrumentalists could have the opportunity to play this beautiful melody, so, in addition to the Trumpet Quintet version and this version for a Brass Quintet, consisting of 2 Trumpets (one of which has the lead), 1 French Horn, 1 Trombone and 1 Tuba, he has made quite a few other arrangements of this selection. There are Quintets readily available for a wide variety of instrumental ensembles. Please take the time to look for other versions of this composition.
