I had the honor of performing this song with Richard Marx himself as part of the quartet-in-residence for his 3-week residency "Satisfied: Only The Hits" at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, so I'm super excited to bring you my own version!

This is a great song to practice paying attention to all the sharps and intervals in E major. I put a lot of the upper notes down an octave if you are not as comfortable up there. While E Major can be a challenging key with practice you can become great at playing in it! While there are so many versions out of this song, if you wanted to hear accompaniment with your playing be sure to look up the original soundtrack from the movie Sing!. Enjoy!

Everyone loves the Beatles - and since we all get Beatles requests so often, the more in your repertoire the better! This arrangement of "Eleanor Rigby" for string quartet is one of the first charts I ever wrote, so it has a special place in my heart. Taking a Phil Spector/"Wall of Sound" type approach, this is unlike any version of Eleanor Rigby you've ever heard before; it's packed with layers of exciting harmonies, countermelodies, and melodic tradeoffs between the parts.
