The Mountain Goat (Capricorn Song) from the song cycle COSMIC WHEEL OF THE ZODIAC although originally composed for voice, has been re-imagined as a chamber work for two flutes and piano.
The light and airy melodies suit the flute. The composer captures the concept of the heights to which the goat would climb using the wide-ranging tessitura of the melody.
