?Mattonya? is a soloacoustic finger-style guitar composition. Like ?Krisomas?, ?Mattonya? was composed for Mattand Tonya?s wedding, hence the name. ?Mattonya? is from my release ?BeyondWords? and included in my newest compilation. ?Together As One? which is songsI composed for weddings as ?Mattonya? created this theme. ?Mattonya? opens with no intro, gets right to the theme. The theme is in 4/4 and switches elegantly to 6/8, a delightful change. ?Mattonya? could be a welcome part of your show and is appropriate for schools, students, and church services for special events or concerts. "Mattonya" is an easy flowing piece which needs compassion. The 6/8 section does need to be steady and aggressive. Practice this section with a metronome starting out about 90 BPM's or what's comfortable. Then build up to 125 BPM's, the original tempo.
