America's Favorite Christmas Carols - Clarinets
2 Clarinettes, Piano
Composed by Various. Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick. Christian, Christmas. Score, Set…

Composed by Various. Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick. Christian, Christmas. Score, Set of Parts. 54 pages. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications
These arrangements of favorite Christmas carols for clarinets are sure to brighten up your next Christmas event. They are written in three independent parts and can be used with any number of B flat instruments. The scores include a simplified keyboard part. The arrangements are intended either as stand-alone pieces that could be used as interludes in a concert or service. The arrangements been written in clarinet-friendly keys as often as possible. You can use as many clarinets as you wish or even clarinet duets. For this reason, the third clarinet often appears between the first and second, partly to avoid extremely low notes and partly to allow the 2nd clarinet to play essential notes for complete harmony. Movement around the break has been avoided whenever possible, especially in the 2nd and 3rd clarinet parts. It is assumed that the pianist will read from the score/piano part, so a separate keyboard part has not been provided. The scores and all the parts are contained in a single 54-page PDF file. These arrangements are not necessarily compatible with other Kirkpatrick collections with the same title.<br> <br> <br> The arranger, ColinKirkpatrick is indebted to clarinetist and independent musician Genessa West, for reviewing the clarinet parts and for her invaluable assistance andtechnical advice. Genessa is a member of the SMP Community and you can see herpublications at https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/publishers/genessa-west/15963<br> <br> This collection includes the following favorite carols: Angels We Have Heard On High (Gloria); Lo, How a Rose E’er blooming (Es ist ein Ros entsprungen); O Come, O Come Emmanuel (Veni Emmanuel); The First Noel; Ding Dong! Easy Piano - Easy/Beginner - Digital Download Composed by Various. Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick. Christian, Sacred, Christmas. Individual Part. 23 pages. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications
Here’sa bright and attractive collection of twenty traditional Christmas songs andcarols intended for the elementary pianist or keyboard player. The notation is kept as simple as possible and musical elements such as dynamics, articulations, phrasing and slurs are omitted completely. The piano part, which also includes chords, is printed in large type. It's an ideal item for schools, and especially piano teachers for some seasonal sight-reading for students. The chords are printed below the stave rather than above, to allow space for fingering suggestions. Fingerings are omitted during repeated passages or when the fingering is considered obvious.<br> <br> Elementarypianists rarely have the opportunity of playing in an ensemble. The mainfeature of Colin Kirkpatrick’s Really Easy Christmas Collectionis that it’s fully compatible with the Optional Instrumental Pack, a setof instrumental parts transposed for a selection of popular instruments. It is available here: https://www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/21394520 Whilethe Optional Instrumental Pack is primarily intended to play along withthe piano, the arrangements use flexible instrumentation and can be used entirely on their own without the keyboard part, thus giving you extra flexibility.<br> <br> Thebook contains the following well-known Christmas carols and hymns: Angels fromthe Realms of Glory (Melody: Gloria); As with Gladness, Men of Old (Melody:Dix); Away in a Manger (Melody: Mueller); Deck the Halls (Melody: Nos Galan); Ding!Dong! Composed by Various. Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick. Christian, Praise & Worship, General Worship, Christmas. Score, Set of Parts. 125 pages. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications
Your Favorite Christmas Hymns and Carols for Wind Instruments<br> Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick<br> Book 1<br> <br> This essential collection may be all you ever need for your wind instruments at Christmas. It's a bargain price too! The arrangements are intended either as stand-alone pieces that could be used as interludes in a service, or they could be used to accompany solo, choral or congregational singing.<br> <br> The publication consists of a four-staff score in concert pitch together with fourteen separate parts in various transpositions. There is also a fairly easy optional keyboard part. These four-part arrangements use flexible instrumentation so that you can exercise considerable control over the instrumental voicing. You can also create interesting instrumental tone colour by omitting groups of instruments. This can be achieved with the aid of a pencil. If the ensemble is large enough you could omit brass instruments in the quieter sections, or use a solo trumpet against a woodwind background. There are endless possibilities. You can hear the effect of omitting sections in the audio samples. The arrangements could therefore be played by brass quartet, woodwind quartet, saxophone quartet or virtually any combination of wind instruments. Using the piano part (which has been kept as simple as possible) the arrangements could also be used as solos or duets, depending of what instruments are available. Parts 1 and 2 in C have been printed an octave higher than the pitch shown in the score because the parts invariably are too low for flute or oboe. All the scores and parts are contained in a single125-page PDF file.<br> <br> The publication consists of four-stave scores for each hymn and carol plus:<br> <br> 1. Part 1 in B flat (clarinet, trumpet, cornet, soprano sax);<br> <br> 2. Part 1 in C (8ve higher for piccolo, flute, oboe);<br> <br> 3. Part 1 in E flat (alto saxophone, E flat clarinet);<br> <br> 4. String Quartet, String Orchestra - Early Intermediate - Digital Download Composed by Various. Arranged by Colin Kirkpatrick. Christian, Praise and Worship, General Worship, Christmas. Score, Set of Parts. 79 pages. Published by Colin Kirkpatrick Publications
These arrangements of favorite Christmas carols are sure to brighten up your next Christmas event. They include full four-part instrumental scores plus parts for 1st violin, 2nd violin, viola and cello/double bass. Most of the carols can be played in first position, but for a brighter sound, ask your more experienced violinists to play an octave higher. The double bass is optional because it uses the cello part. The arrangements can be used with string quartet, string quintet or string ensemble. There?s also an optional but useful simplified keyboard part intended for less experienced keyboard players. It could be used as the basis of an accompaniment which means that you can use the arrangements as solos, duets or trios. Please note that because the arrangements are in string-friendly keys, they?re not compatible with the brass and wind collections of the same name. The scores and all the parts are contained in a single 79-page PDF file. This collection includes the following favorite carols: Angels We Have Heard On High (Gloria); Lo, How a Rose E?er Blooming (Es ist ein Ros entsprungen); O Come, O Come Emmanuel (Veni Emmanuel); The First Noel; Ding Dong! B-Flat Clarinet,Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.548475 Composed by Mueller. Arranged by James M. Guthrie. Christian,Christmas. Score and part. 3 pages. Jmsgu3 #3386527. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.548475). Traditional Christmas song arranged for Bb Clarinet & Piano. Third verse features new harmony. Score: 2 pg. Part: 1 pg.Away in a Manger Away in a Manger is a popular Christmas song published originally sometime in the later 19th century and performed throughout the world. In England, it is considered one of the two most popular carols of all time; a 1996 poll ranked it as a tie for second place. To begin with, many thought it was written by Martin Luther, but now the song is considered to be absolutely American. The most common musical arrangements are by William Kirkpatrick (1895) and James R. Murray (1887). The melody was first published, as Luther's Cradle Hymn, by James R. Murray. Then, came a confusing series of explanations about how Martin Luther wrote the song. Murray even went so far as to suggest that Luther wrote it for his children. As a result, the song has become known as simply Mueller. Nobody knows who this Mueller actually is, but the name stuck. Popularity By the 1880’s the cradle song was being performed in church. By the 1990’s the song was becoming the most popular Christmas song of all time. It was sung in school, in church, and at home by nearly everyone. Other musical settings The first musical setting published with the lyrics appeared in the Little Children's Book for Schools and Families (1885). The title was Away in a Manger. This edition is the first one not to attribute the song to Martin Luther. Charles H. Gabriel was the first arranger to present the third verse. He also composed and published a large number of different arrangements of the song. In one of his settings, he supplies a chorus for each verse with asleep sung in canon. Another prevalent preparation uses the lyrics to the melody Flow Gently, Sweet Afton. Yet another arrangement dating uses the lyrics to an old Normandy Carol. Jmsgu3 #3386521. Published by jmsgu3 (A0.548473). Traditional Christmas song arranged for Bassoon & Piano. Third verse features modified harmony. Score: 2 pg. Part: 1 pg. Away in a Manger Away in a Manger is a popular Christmas song published originally sometime in the later 19th century and performed throughout the world.
