A beautiful song in minor key, arranged for flutechoir by me, Ray-Michael Kauffman, a flutist and performer and arranger offlute choir/music. Since I play all flutes of the flute family, I like tothink I understand the complexities of what works and what doesn't for all fluteschoirs/ ensembles.

This arrangement gives every instrument a chance to shine, whetherplaying a solo or melody in that instrument part (from bass, alto, flutes topiccolo). This would make an amazing piece to add to your holiday performance,or singularly for church/secular or school program. scored forpiccolo, flute 1-5, alto and bass (which may also be played by contra bass).overall, it is intermediate plus but arrangement allows for less seasonedplayers to play flute 3, 4 or 5. flute 5 is not required for performance butadds extra harmony, structure and support of the arrangement. This arrangement of five traditional Israeli folk songs and Jewish holiday music will put you in the mood to celebrate! The first flutes are featured prominently in this arrangement. Each part takes a turn carrying the tune, with rich harmonies and driving rhythms enhancing the melodies. The medley begins exuberantly in the key of concert d minor, moves joyfully to the relative F Major, then finishes boisterously back in d minor. I have included a version of the alto flute part transposed for C flute in case you don't have an alto flute available.

This popular American Christmas Spiritual is delightfully arranged for three flutes. The performance duration is two minutes and the full score has separate parts attached. Suitable for Middle and Senior High School music students as well as any church music group looking for new and imaginative Christmas holiday repertoire. As in the original collection, this is a delightful collection of intermediate to advanced-intermediate level duets based on traditional Christmas carols. Spanish Christmas Carol for 2 Flutes

The composer of the song La nana, balada al niño Jesús was José Ramón Gomis, born in Novelda, Alicante;2 the lyrics are by Juan Francisco Muñoz y Pabón. The Society of Spanish Authors published the score in 1904.3

The song was compiled by the musicologist Kurt Schindler in his work "Folk music and poetry of Spain and Portugal",4 as collected by the author in Medinaceli, Soria, around 1930.5 Someone sang the first eight bars of the melody composed by José Ramón Gomis, and some verses of the lyrics.6

The first recordings of the song are from 1931,7 performed by Marcos Redondo for the Casa Odeón, and from 1932,8 performed by Julio Vidal and his group for La voz de su amo.

There is an arrangement of four mixed voices entitled Fuentecilla que corres. It was performed by Eduardo Cifre,9 in 1974 or 75.6 and is very popular among Spanish choirs.

This is a beautiful, playable arrangement for four flutes. You receive the score, the Flute 1, Flute 2, the Flute 3 and Flute 4 parts. The sound clip is digitally produced.
