Flute,Trumpet - Level 5 - SKU: A0.1279258 Composed by Simon Gilliver. 21st Century. 23 pages. Simon Gilliver #870751. Published by Simon Gilliver (A0.1279258). Flying Free - An original quartet for two flutes and two trumpets. Flying Free was written especially for a concert where four young soloists were giving a joint recital together, and asked if I could write them a piece they could play together. I was attracted by the challenge of writing for the highly unusual combination of two flutes and two trumpets. Flying Free refers to the sense of liberation I felt in writing for this combination, and I enjoyed exploring a variety of textures, and the full range of the instruments. This freedom is also felt in the contrasted moods of the music. The outer sections are both lyrical and mysterious, while the middle section takes playful and dramatic turns. The harmonic language is chromatic and jazz tinged.

Piano - easy - SKU: S9.Q45173 Easy Recital Pieces for Piano. Composed by Barbara Heller. This edition: Sheet music. Downloadable. Duration 24 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q45173. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q45173). This collection tells little stories on the piano, written for some very young pianists. Each title sets a musical and technical challenge. Individual pieces may be put together to tell a longer story. The pieces are ordered progressively, with some requiring simple preliminary exercises. Easy to start with (using grace notes, playing legato and staccato), they become gradually more demanding as different fingerings, pedal use, phrasing and dynamics are introduced. Articulation, phrasing and tempo markings in this edition represent one possible interpretation; they may be changed or varied at will. The composer is delighted for her creative work to be developed further: titles presented in two versions give examples of this, showing that the bird can shimmer in different colours.

Small Ensemble Cello,Double Bass,Flute - SKU: A0.1024748 Composed by Will Phillips. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 5 pages. Will Phillips Music #3465400. Published by Will Phillips Music (A0.1024748). Sync, for flute, cello, and bass trio, is a complex piece which includes a variety of time signatures, virtuosic flute lines, driving cello rhythms, and jazz-influenced pizzicato bass lines. The title derives from the phasing that occurs as a result of multiple pulses that align, dis-align, and re-align throughout. The rhythms that drive the piece are heavily syncopated, yet often times, even non-syncopated rhythms are perceived as such as a result of the offsetting phasing of the pulse. The rhythmic figures are constructed as not just a variety of attacks, but also note lengths, which alternate between combinations of accents, legato, and staccato phrases. Each section is glued together using transitions which guide the individual pulses to their next point of alignment. Throughout the bridge sections, all three instruments take on differing roles: the flute plays ethnically influenced over-arching melodies, while the cello underscores the flute with double and triple-stop chords, and the bass maintains a steady but syncopated pulse. Finally, the piece comes to a close with each instrument rallying together as one; the final sync point.

This beginner band arrangement utilizes a lot of repetition, making this piece quite easy to learn. Each variation uses different combinations of instruments to create variety. As is traditional in the folk song, with each repetition one more note is removed from the song, to be replaced by random auxiliary percussion instruments, the more bizarre the better. All comes together to create a light, easy-to-learn song with fun and interest for the beginner percussion players in your group.

Music and song composed by me, dedicated to my sister dead THE MISSING LINK I often still get surprised looking for you between people in a gesture in an instant in an evasive shadow and I remain hooked between past and present a recurring sensation alone among people. Lying and pretending than inside me nothing is missing a pathetic clown always happy and smiley I write music and words to tame the fire inside me because only we know where this pain is taking us where are you? where are you? my sweet missing link you will come back to fill my mind I step back once again and I am limbing next to you hand in hand resigned, while the grey was oppressing for the two of us at every awakening a battle would start I pushed that moment back I didn't wanna be awake but you always protected me even from a cruel child my fearless sister so storng and independent you used to talk to me about guys and how to kiss them I used to blush and my heart beating fast I will look for and call my missing ring and you will answer with the same silence used to ask me if you were beautiful with that storng make up on you looked like a sad Pierrot tired of being avoided you were uncomofortable and people used to push you away many ignorant hypocrits looking like saints and again the two of us together in the open abyss me climbing up slowly but you remain behind I give you my hand but your destiny was written you fall down deep and far in that damned hell it will shine, it will shine my missing ring I will show it proudly to the people and you flew away in that boiling July the freeze inside my heart you, unconscous and paralyzed and for your last travel few hopeless people for the life she used to live it's better that she s gone but they know nothing about it about your unheard shout of my diamonds ring dropped in the mud freedom is a meaningless word oh you, bling and deaf butterfly your wings are now open you will fly, I will fly and I will delete the distance I will find my missing ring.. Piano Solo - SKU: A0.507450 Composed by Heather Cattanach. 20th Century,Blues,Children,Instructional,Jazz. Score. 3 pages. Published by Heather Cattanach (A0.507450). The constellation Sculptor represents the sculptor’s studio with a table, mallet and two chisels lying beside a carved head. It is one of the fourteen southern constellations named by Nicolas Louis de Lacaille. It contains some interesting deep sky objects such as the Sculptor Galaxy which was discovered by Caroline Herschel in 1783, who had a career first as a soprano and then as an astronomer. She was the first professional female astronomer, and (along with her brother William) discovered several comets and nebulae. They were working together when he discovered the planet Uranus. Like the other Lacaille constellation pieces, this one uses a twentieth century musical style. This Intermediate Piano Solo is based on a blues chord progression and uses the blues scale. In the improvisation section in the middle feel free to use some or all of the notes of the blues scale for your melody line, and if you like you can add texture to the left hand chords by comping on rhythmic patterns. Please choose your own dynamics. From “88 Constellations†a collection by Heather Cattanach featuring one piece of piano music for each of the 88 constellations (to match the number of keys on a standard piano). Performance Time 1 minute 15 seconds. 2 pages. (General Instructional, Modern, 20th Century, Repertoire, Recital, Improvisation, Blues).

Oboe,Piano - Level 4 - SKU: A0.1028132 Composed by Arwyn Bailey. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary,Wedding. Score and part. 18 pages. Galactic Publishers Limited #3381141. Published by Galactic Publishers Limited (A0.1028132). For EliseA composition for Oboe and Piano written to mark the birth of the composers grand-daughter.The piece is a sweet piece of one movement lasting just under 3.30.it is a piece that students of the oboe will enjoy learning and playing. The standard for an oboist is around grade 5. The pianist needs to be competent and around grade 7 or upwards in standard. This is also a good piece for college students to work on together as a performance piece. This piece is reflective, and would serve well for a performance at a school concert, in a church, or as a meditative piece. The composition benefits from practice individually, with a coming together of players before the performance date and will give the performers the experience of practicing individually as well as together.Breath control is key for the oboist as after the introduction the oboe plays right through without break. The piece will challenge and teach the need for breath control to the performer whether they are seasoned or a student. The pianist will experiences wide stretches and may have to work out which notes can be lost due to the stretch involved and the notation of the chords without affecting the overall largesse of piano sound.Dynamics are also important and both players will need to work on getting this right as there are waves of dynamics in very spaces during the piece. Keeping time is also important as the players will play in counter rhythms including triplets against standard syncopted quaver beats, in short spaces, thereby creating a challenge for the perfomrers to listen to themsleves and count, rather than relying upon the other performer for the timing. The MP3 file, (that can be found here: http://thetimelord.blog/family) is NOT a true representation of the piece as it is a basic extract from the composition software and is too harsh a representation of the piece. It requires a performance to be recorded. Contact the composer if you are interested in creating a recording. A recording must not be undertaken without prior permission of the publisher and composer.ALL rights are held by Galactic Publishers Limited and the piece cannot be reproduced, recorded or re-arranged in any form without permission.

Relying on minimalist textures and rhythms, and beautiful harmonies, 'Pulses and Waves' is the perfect way for ensembles to make music together - both in person and over the internet. Given the complications of transmitting live audio online, this piece does not require exact synchronisation between players, relying instead on the ability of the musicians to simply hear each other and react at given moments. The piece works on tuned percussion, pianos, guitars or any other suitable instrument combination.

The Show Your Pride album was influenced by my best friend, Nigel Shelby, who tragically passed away by suicide after experiencing bullying for being outed as gay. It has been a few years since his death turned a national spotlight on the issue of LGBTQIA+ mental health and bullying. He was 15 years old at the time of his passing. I feel like I've been stabbed in the heart when I found he was gone. It was the first time I had lost anybody that I was close to. I was in a lot of pain at the time. Losing my best friend is one of the most difficult and heartbreaking experiences I have had in my life. This album is telling a coming-out story about a bisexual musician going on a self-discovery journey to find his true authentic self. I first met Nigel in mid-2018 when I was nervous, struggling with depression, and coming out as bisexual, so I gathered enough strength and confidence to come out to him. He's very kind and supportive of me. He was brave enough to come out to me as well. He has been a really good friend and my spirit guide as long as I've known him. He was understanding, thoughtful, and had a maturity about him that I admired. I feel happy and honored to have known him and had the best friends with him. I truly believe he is watching over me every day. In this inspirational, heartbreaking piece, His Memory, I will share a coming-out story about two boys who came out to each other, spending their friendship together until one of them passes away. This piece is based on a true story of how I coped with grief, dealing with depression about my best friend's passing, and how I found happiness within myself after his memorial service. It drew inspiration from many compositions and soundtracks, including Where The Sky Has No Stars by Katahj Copley, Lose You Now by Lindsey Stirling (feat. Mako), You Will Be Found from Dear Evan Hansen by Benj Pasek & Justin Paul, April Sky by Lin Chin Cheng, and Avatar The Last Airbender by Jeremy Zuckerman. These compositions I mentioned express hope and spark memories of lost loved ones. This piece is in 3 Acts: Friendship, I Lost You. and His Memory Lives On. Each one was inspired by actual events. Act I: Friendship Act II: I Lost You Act III: His Memory Lives On While you are listening to this piece, I want you to think about someone you love who is no longer with you. If you're one of those people who lost someone special to you, I am so sorry for your loss. Just know that you are not alone. Don't try to run and hide from your grief. Whatever your grief experience, it's important to be patient with yourself and allow the process to naturally unfold. You will grieve for as long as you need to, but you are a strong person and will find your way through this. Life is so precious. Cherish every moment with your loved ones. Coming out is one of the most difficult things a person can do, but if you are having difficulty or are unsure about it, just know that there are people out there who do love you for who you are. Learn to embrace your authentic self. Don't let your sexual orientation define who you are. The right people will accept you and those are the only people who matter. Be yourself, be happy, and do what you feel. Don't care so much about what others think and enjoy your life! Keep following your heart and don't be afraid to stand out!

Brass Quintet Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 2 - SKU: A0.1410576 By Caetano Velosa. By Edward Eiscu, Gus Kahn, and Vincent Youmens. Arranged by Peet du Toit. Folk,Pop. 9 pages. Peet du Toit #992996. Published by Peet du Toit (A0.1410576). (The) Carioca is a 1933 popular song with music by Vincent Youmans and lyrics by Edward Eliscu and Gus Kahn, as well as the name of the dance choreographed to it for the 1933 film Flying Down to Rio. It was sung in the film by Alice Gentle, Movita Castaneda and Etta Moten and danced by Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers as part of an extended production dance number illustrating the ballroom dance. The dance, which was choreographed by the film's dance director, Dave Gould, assisted by Hermes Pan, was based on an earlier stage dance with the same name by Fanchon and Marco. The word Carioca refers to inhabitants of Rio de Janeiro.Astaire and Roger's short dance has historical significance, as it was their first screen dance together. Though billed fourth and fifth, many felt they stole the film, which became a big hit for RKO. The song was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 7th Academy Awards, but lost to an even bigger Astaire and Rogers production number, The Continental from The Gay Divorcee (1934), their next film together and their first starring vehicle. They were billed by RKO as The King and Queen of 'The Carioca.'While the song has become a jazz standard, the dance did not have longevity. Following the success of Flying Down to Rio, an attempt was made to propagate it as a new ballroom dance, without much success. It was a mixture of samba, maxixe, foxtrot and rhumba. The distinctive feature of the dance â?? at least as portrayed in the movie â?? was that it was to be danced with the partners' foreheads touching.A French cover of the song was introduced in the comedy movie La Cité de la Peur (1994) along with a dance, also meant in a humoristic way. Both the song and the dance appear in the film that takes place in Cannes during the Cannes film festival in France, and have become a reference for a whole generation in France. 25 years later, in May 2019, the Carioca scene of the movie was celebrated in Cannes with a flashmob dance and by the actors themselves who danced again the mythic scene included in La Cité de la Peur.

Choral Choir (TTBB) - Level 2 - SKU: A0.1270160 By Arlo Guthrie. By Arlo Guthrie. Arranged by Craig Hanson. A Cappella,Comedy,Folk. Octavo. 6 pages. Edition Craig Hanson #862589. Published by Edition Craig Hanson (A0.1270160). For TTBB chorus a cappella and solo voice. As performed by Arlo Guthrie.Wanna hear something? You know that Indians never ate clams. They didn't have linguini! And so what happened was that clams was allowed to grow unmolested in the coastal waters of America for millions of years. And they got big, and I ain't talking about clams in general, I'm talking about each clam! Individually. I mean each one was a couple of million years old or older. So imagine they could have got bigger than this whole room. And when they get that big, God gives them little feet so that they could walk around easier. And when they get feet, they get dangerous. I'm talking about real dangerous. I ain't talking about sitting under the water waiting for you. I'm talking about coming after you.Imagine being on one of them boats coming over to discover America, like Columbus or something, standing there at night on watch, everyone else is either drunk or asleep. And you're watching for America and the boat's going up and down. And you don't like it anyhow but you gotta stand there and watch, for what? Only he knows, and he ain't watching. You hear the waves lapping against the side of the ship. The moon is going behind the clouds. You hear the pitter patter of little footprints on deck. ‘Is that you kids?’ It ain't! My god! It's this humongous, giant clam!Imagine those little feet coming on deck. A clam twice the size of the ship. Feet first. You're standing there shivering with fear, you grab one of these. This is a belaying pin. They used to have these stuck in the holes all around the ship… You probably didn't know what this is for; you probably had an idea, but you were wrong. They used to have these stuck in the holes all along the sides of the ship, everywhere. You wouldn't know what this is for unless you was that guy that night.I mean, you'd grab this out of the hole, run on over there, bam bam on them little feet! Back into the ocean would go a hurt, but not defeated, humongous, giant clam. Ready to strike again when opportunity was better. You know not even the coastal villages was safe from them big clams. You know them big clams had an inland range of about 15 miles. Think of that. I mean our early pioneers and the settlers built little houses all up and down the coast you know. A little inland and stuff like that and they didn't have houses like we got now, with bathrooms and stuff. They built little privies out back. And late at night, maybe a kid would have to go, and he'd go stomping out there in the moonlight. And all they'd hear for miles around...(loud clap/belch).... One less kid for America. One more smiling, smurking, humongous, giant clam.So Americans built forts. Them forts --you know—them pictures of them forts with the wooden points all around. You probably thought them points was for Indians but that's stupid! 'Cause Indians know about doors. But clams didn't. Even if a clam knew about a door, so what? A clam couldn't fit in a door. I mean, he'd come stomping up to a fort at night, put them feet on them points, jump back crying, tears coming out of them everywhere. But Americans couldn't live in forts forever. You couldn't just build one big fort around America. How would you go to the beach? So what they did was they formed groups of people. I mean they had groups of people all up and down the coast form these little alliances. Like up North it was call the Clamshell Alliance. And farther down South it was called the Catfish Alliance. They had these Alliances all up and down the coast defending themselves against these threatening monsters. These humongous giant clams. Andt hey'd go out there, if there was maybe fifteen of them they'd be singing songs in fifteen part harmony. And when one part disappeared, that's how they knew where the clam would be.Which is why Americans only sing in four part harmony to this very day. That proved to be too dangerous. See, what they did was they'd be singing these songs called Clam Chanties, and they'd have these big spears called clampoons. And they'd be walking up and down the beach and the method they eventually devised where they'd have this guy, the most strongest heavy duty true blue American, courageous type dude they could find and they'd have him out there walking up and down the beach by himself with other chicken dudes hiding behind the sand dunes somewhere. He'd be singing the verses. They'd be singing the chorus, and clams would hear 'em. And clams hate music. So clams would come out of the water and they'd come after this one guy. And all you'd see pretty soon was flying all over the sand flying up and down the beach manmanclamclammanmanclam manclamclamman up and down the beach going this way and that way up the hills in the water out of the water behind the trees everywhere. Finally the man would jump over a big sand dune, roll over the side, the clam would come over the dune, fall in the hole and fourteen guys would come out there and stab the shit out of him with their clampoons. That's the way it was. That was one way to deal with them. The other way was to weld two clams together. [I don't believe it. I'm losing it. Hey. What can you do. Another night shot to hell.] Hey, this was serious back then. This was very serious. I mean these songs now are just piddly folk songs. But back then these songs were controversial. These was radical, almost revolutionary songs. Because times was different and clams was a threat to America. That's right. So we want to sing this song tonight about the one last... You see what they did was there was one man, he was one of these men, his name will always be remembered, his name was Reuben Clamzo, and he was one of the last great clam men there ever was. He stuck the last clam stab. The last clampoon into the last clam that was ever seen on this continent. Knowing he would be out of work in an hour. He did it anyway so that you and me could go to the beach in relative safety. That's right. Made America safe for the likes of you and me. And so we sing this song in his memory. He went into whaling like most of them guys did and he got out of that, when he died. You know, clams was much more dangerous than whales. Clams can run in the water, on the water or on the ground, and they are so big sometimes that they can jump and they can spread their kinda shells and kinda almost fly like one of them flying squirrels. You could be standing there thinking that your perfectly safe and all of a sudden whop.... That's true... And so this is the song of this guy by the name of Reuben Clamzo and the song takes place right after he stabbed this clam and the clam was, going through this kinda death dance over on the side somewhere. The song starts there and he goes into whaling and takes you through the next...I sing the part of the guy on the beach by himself. I go like this: Poor old Reuben Clamzo and you go Clamzo Boys Clamzo. That's the part of the fourteen chicken dudes over on the other side. That's what they used to sing. They'd be calling these clams out of the water. Like taunting them making fun of them. Clams would get real mad and come out. Here we go. I want you to sing it in case you ever have an occasion to join such an alliance. You know some of these alliances are still around. Still defending America against things like them clams. If you ever wants to join one, now you have some historic background. So you know where these guys are coming from. It's not just some 60's movement or something, these things go back a long time.Notice the distinction you're going to have to make now between the first and easy Clamzo Boys Clamzo and the more complicated Clamzo Me Boys Clamzo. Stay serious! Folk songs are serious. That's what Pete Seeger told me. Arlo I only want to tell you one thing... Folk songs are serious. I said right. Let's do it in C for Clam...Iet's do it in B... For boy that's a big clam... Iet' s do it in G for Gee, I hope that big clam don't see me. Let's do it in F... For …he sees me. Let's do it back in A...for a clam is coming. Better get this song done quick. The Story of Reuben Clamzo and His Strange Daughter in the Key of A.

Score only (see A727154 for Parts) Duration: 11 - 12 minutes, 37 pp. Description: In Korneitchouk's mischievously titled quasi-concerto for saxophone and orchestra, The Disqualification of Harry Semantix as Trial Juror for East County, the concept of Truth and Lie is explored musically, as well as metaphorically implying something deeper. The Truth (the opening theme after an introduction pieces it together) is slowly mutated into its opposite, the Lie -- upside down, backward, twice as long and strident (the closing theme just before the double cadenza at the end of the piece). The double cadenza, is in fact a cadenza for the saxophone played over a wild orchestral stretto -- a kind of orchestral cadenza -- both simultaneously intoning bits and pieces of either theme, and seems to ask: Can Truth coexist with its Lie? or perhaps, Can Truth exist without its Lie? The first incarnation of The Disqualification of Harry... (available on CD from Old King Cole Productions) appears as a duo for saxophone and piano and has only more recently been orchestrated. The composer tells us that the idea for this piece initially germinated from his own frustrations of having to serve jury duty and being disqualified as a potential juror for answering honestly during jury selection. East County is to be understood as Any County..

Brass Ensemble - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1027894 Composed by William Elsom. Contemporary. Score and parts. 46 pages. Will Elsom #3053855. Published by Will Elsom (A0.1027894). Programme Notes Boudicca became the Queen of the Iceni upon the death of her husband, Prasutagus. The Iceni had lived in relative peace with the Romans, with Prasutagus living as a client king, paying tribute to Rome. The Romans refused to accept a woman as the ruler, and sought to assume total control. To demonstrate its superiority, a Roman Legion attacked the Iceni, captured Boudicca and made her watch as her daughters were raped. She sought revenge, allying the Iceni with the Trinovantes under her command, and wreaked havoc, destroying many Roman settlements. Boudicca was only stopped when Rome sent one of the best generals of the time, Seutonius Paulinus. Seutonius has been depicted offering Boudicca surrender with honour and her life, but when she rejected this, his tactical acumen proved superior, and all the Iceni and Trinovantes were wiped out. 1 – Boudicca Unites the Tribes The piece opens with the initial statement of Boudicca’s theme. Figure 3 depicts Boudicca’s reign as the leader of the Iceni, interspersed with a sadder theme depicting her lonely widowhood. Figure 4 sees the tribes called together with a drinking song and Figure 5 is the war cry, as Boudicca gives a rousing speech, first to her own warriors then to the Trinovantes. The second time bar before Figure 7 sees the tribes fall into a restless sleep. Amid early morning mists, Figure 7 sees restless horses, with distant fanfares heard, signalling the coming of the Romans. The Romans main theme is at Figure 8, with a constant fanfare over the top, signalling the confidence of the leaders. Figure 10 sees the Iceni and Trinovantes coming slowly out of hiding, and Boudicca’s theme growing in volume until the death chords signify the tribes have prevailed. 2. The Bards Sing The tribes sing a hymn to an unnamed Pagan God. At Figure 13, the Euphonium develops Boudicca’s theme depicting Taranis, the Bard of the Iceni, singing wistfully of happier times. He then makes an impassioned speech for peace, before cutting off in mid sentence. He then sits quietly (Figure 16) fearing the future. Figure 17 gives a euphoric and hopeful rendition of the hymn, as if Taranis has not been heard. 3 – Epping NB: It is my piece, and I say Epping is as credible as anywhere as the site of the final battle, and will not enter into any correspondence on the matter! A fanfare awakens the two tribes. Figure 18 sees the tribes prepare for a final battle, and the repeated section depicts two victories at Verulanium (St Albans) and Londinium (London – then a small barracks). At Figure 20 Taranis has a vision, and tries to change Boudicca’s mind about another attack. Boudicca listens to him, but tells him the die is cast, and there is no going back. Death or Glory… The war cry ensues at Figure 21, but at Figure 22 it is the Romans’ theme heard, and the death chords (Figure 24) signify that it is the two tribes that are being slaughtered this time. Brave souls (Repiano and Flugel at 24) fight on in vain to allow Boudicca to escape. At Figure 25 Boudicca prays, but realising all is lost, at Figure 26 drinks poison. As she dies, the last thing this brave British heroine hears is the sound of the Roman’s theme, signifying Seutonius’ total victory. William Elsom, December 2004

Brass Ensemble - Level 5 - SKU: A0.767421 Composed by Mike Lyons. Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Score and parts. 73 pages. Lyons Music Services #3860115. Published by Lyons Music Services (A0.767421). Titans: This is a piece inspired by the mythological Titans, who were deposed by the Greek God Zeus, who exiled them and founded the Olympian tradition. The titans were created by the mating of Uranus (Heaven) and Gaea (the Earth). Gaea and Uranus were themselves created from Chaos (the Void). There were many Titans. Cronus, often mistaken for the god of time, was their leader, their brother and the father of their children. Cronus mated with his sister Rhea to produce the gods Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. Cronus was given a prophecy that he would be deposed by his children, so he forced Rhea to give her children to him when they were born whereupon he ate them. She managed to deceive him and hid Zeus, the youngest male child, away. Zeus eventually freed his siblings, by making Cronus vomit to bring them back to the world and thus he became the oldest. The other gods were persuaded to make Zeus their leader and together they deposed Cronus and defeated the Titans in a war (the Titanomachy) that lasted for many years. Zeus and the other gods were not able to kill Cronus, so he exiled him and all of the other Titans in a place called Tartarus, which was part of the underworld, where Cronus would have no access to power of any kind. The music is based mostly on the opening chords, which recur again and again, representing Tartarus and also Cronus and all of his children in one form or another. Melodic material throughout is shaped by the chords and their progressions and I have applied simple transformations – for example, in the last section I have shaped the motifs by applying a snippet of a Fibonacci sequence and overlaying the result in different parts like a canon. I decided to use this because the Fibonacci sequence is representative of nature and the growth of life so it links to Gaea, who represents the creative force. Obviously, Cronus, Gaea, Chaos, Zeus, Hades, Poseidon and Tartarus are all represented here, but so too are Oceanus, Phoebe, Mnemosyne and The Titanomachy (The war of the Olympians against the Titans). The piece finishes with a reprise of the opening chords, which have transformed into a less bleak soundscape, with Cronus and the other Titans safely locked away in Tartarus. This is a difficult and challenging piece demanding a high level of skill from all players. it uses a number of dramatic effects and will stretch any ensemble.I am looking into making a version of this piece for Brass Quintet.Watch te score playing here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w7dUmJh5k4

Published by Shining Sharon Music (A0.1143939). 11 songs, by June Rachelson-Ospa and Allison Brewster Franzetti, from this very funny and sometimes sobering musical for Young People in Piano-Vocal settings help to tell the story of a boy, born colorless. As such, he has been bullied, because everyone else around him has lots of colors. Ostracized, Weedle sets out to find a companion/soul-mate, Marvello Maxumo Marmaduke (who ends up having three heads) after he receives a sympathetic letter from him. Like Weedle, Marmaduke has been forced into seclusion by the Falafarinians of Falifarinum, so together they hatch a plan for revenge on those who hurt have them. Weedle then must decide if he will take revenge on those who have wronged him, or if he will live his life in peace. After choosing to take revenge, Weedle feels so bad that he cries. Then, to everyone's amazement, his tears are full of vibrant colors, proving that he had it within himself all the time... Bullying has become an epidemic, causing many children pain. Our story confronts this issue in a fun-filled way, without shying away from the issue at hand. Perhaps, this show is needed now more than ever! It is the hope of the authors that the producers will utilize actors of all genders, abilities/disabilities, and special needs, aiming to entertain and teach an important life lesson to kids: that anything is possible with the right outlook. Teaching children and families to accept people for who they are, no matter what they look like… is vital, especially when the outcome includes forgiveness. From Leicester Bay Theatricals. The most moving theatrical experience... Peter Filichia, Broadway Radio The True Colors of Weedle is also available as an illustrated storybook for children in Kindle and Paperback editions. Look for it.
