Easy Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1349150 By Kristen Bell. By Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Arranged by Catherine Wilson. 21st Century,Broadway,Children,Film/TV,Instructional,Musical/Show. Score. 5 pages. Catherine Wilson #933890. Published by Catherine Wilson (A0.1349150). Do You Want to Build a Snowman from Frozen is part of a series of Disney piano solo arrangements for late beginner / grade 1. Everyone can benefit by learning pieces they recognise, but in the early stages of learning, this can sometimes prove to be a challenge too far. If the piece is too far outside the ability level of the student, frustration and self-doubt can creep in.The arrangements in this series concentrate on building connections between how the music looks, how it feels, and what it sounds like. To simplify learning, the arrangements are notated at half speed (where needed), do not require any use of sharps or flats, and are harmonised using a 5 - note hand position in the left hand.Short introductions have been added to highlight the hand position changes used in the song. These give students the opportunity to build their confidence by navigating the changes of hand positions before encountering them in the recognisable part of the song.Catherine lives in a small rural village in Shropshire, England and has over 25 years experience teaching piano. Since completing her Master’s Degree, specialising in composition, Catherine enjoys arranging existing melodies with pianistic accompaniments that focus on furthering technique as well as providing an opportunity to enjoy performing recognisable pieces. Please check out Catherine’s other arrangements and original compositions here: www.catherinewilsonmusic.comhttps://www.sheetmusicplus.com/en/category/arrangeme/224/catherine-wilson/.

Piano - difficult - Digital Download SKU: S9.Q11142 For piano. Composed by Chaya Czernowin. This edition: Sheet music. Downloadable. Duration 6 minutes. Schott Music - Digital #Q11142. Published by Schott Music - Digital (S9.Q11142). What dance is this? Is it the dance coming from afar, its remnants too entangled to decipher, one which was brought by a gust of wind, as you stand alone and listen to a far away party in the night? Or is the one so close that the heavy beating keeps the ears grounded onto a distorted repeated detail? Neither is danceable to the legs – but both would like to dance with the imagination, leading notions of distance and closeness astray. The level of difficulty from 1-5 (5 being most difficult) is in terms of technicality around 3.7 and in terms of artistic expression and complexity of text around 4.5. – Chaya Czernowin.

Jazz Ensemble Jazz Ensemble - Digital Download SKU: A0.862528 Composed by Michael Bomier. Contemporary,Instructional,Jazz,Standards. Score and parts. 75 pages. Michael Butkus-Bomier #2033003. Published by Michael Butkus-Bomier (A0.862528). The IImin7-V7-IMaj7 chord progression is the first and most basic set of chords in tonal jazz. So, let's see how far they can be layered, stretched, and interwoven to create some nicely contrasting harmonic and melodic colors. OK, it Might take a BIT more work that the title suggests. Irony is IN right now... The saxes state the theme in octave unison, while the brass comment and accompany. Then the saxes take over for a full chorus of soli. None of the phrases is more than three measures in length, so the players can blow through without blowing themselves out. The soloists are the trumpet, accompanied by a trombone background, and the piano, with saxophones behind it. SampleSolos are provided. The trumpet shows how Woody Shaw might have played this piece with pentatonic scales, a bit of a contrast to the tonal nature of the changes. The piano has a rapid, multi-noted solo with lots of chromatics, with fingerings, to show what the Tatum-style of pianistic technique is all about. Running time is just over 4 mins at suggested tempo. The rhythm section Uni-Part is included with every GateWay Edition Jazz Ensemble Series chart. Drum part is notated as heard on the audio clip. Instrumental Duet Guitar,Instrumental Duet,Voice - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.576279 Composed by David Warin Solomons. 20th Century,Contemporary. Score and parts. 4 pages. David Warin Solomons #15653. Published by David Warin Solomons (A0.576279). This song was inspired by my initial reactions to the realization that I am infertile. In my case this was due to Kallmann's syndrome I am now perfectly happy with my infertility, after all, there is much else to do in the world and Dawkins' selfish gene can simply go spin its plot elsewhere: my children are my compositions, and they populate the world in their own way with joy, humour and thoughtfulness... wherever they will... ... However, I know there are many who are not happy with childlessness, so I dedicate this song to them ....and to my past self. The sound sample is my own performance. Here are the words: Learn this my child, who never hears my word Your luck is out, you are but but a poem deaf to change You are a romantic ramble on absurd round which the childless brain desires to range Hear this my daughter, blind to loveliness Your love is mine, untouchable, unknown to all Save to a song befitting her distress Whom Sappho loved but answered not her call See this my eunuch, watching others` joy Your luck was in, your luck was in You threw it far away, too far away for its return Save to another and another boy while I look on, unmoved as from a star Taste this my tears grown cold Resigned and pure Your love is his I know not whose nor do I care Yet love I would, and yet cannot be sure that another`s love could now be mine to share Warm this my heart These strings beget my child Their luck is in Their love is mine So close, my son! My daughter`s breath sings Through my fingers styled Sings to herself All other children shun © David W Solomons Video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOB34ds34Tk

Bass Trombone,Tenor Trombone,Trombone Solo - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.810966 Composed by Brink, Philip. Instructional,Standards. Individual part. 134 pages. Gordon Cherry #4286489. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.810966). Philip Brink has spent his entire career building the knowledge to assemble this major book on the pedagogy of the Trombone. Below are his words to describe what the book entails. Trombonist’s Toolkit was conceived as exactly that: a resource for troubleshooting one’s playing, for working out problems, for advancing one’s playing skills. It is NOT a method in the traditional sense – no weekly lessons, no planned schedule for arriving at a certain point after a year, two years, etc. The player [you, the reader] can search the topic list for specific problems in need of solution. Most of the topics are organized by general subject areas: air, embouchure, range building, etc. The source for most of what I write is my own personal experience as student, teacher, freelancer and orchestral performer. I owe a great debt of gratitude to teachers, mentors, colleagues and students past and present, for listening to my playing, trying out my concepts, putting up with my questions and so forth. Some of those people are present, some are far away, and sadly, some are no longer living. To all of them I say Thank you, and I hope those of you who read this can recognize what you told me! A word about the organization of the book: most of the concepts requiring practice and/or a physical approach are written out in a special manner; explanatory text is interspersed with exercises detailing a gradual approach to the topic at hand. The appendix contains a number of exercises all together, most of which were developed for my class at Mahidol University College of Music in Thailand. Philip Brink - 2019

Published by Edition Craig Hanson (A0.1270160). For TTBB chorus a cappella and solo voice. As performed by Arlo Guthrie.Wanna hear something? You know that Indians never ate clams. They didn't have linguini! And so what happened was that clams was allowed to grow unmolested in the coastal waters of America for millions of years. And they got big, and I ain't talking about clams in general, I'm talking about each clam! Individually. I mean each one was a couple of million years old or older. So imagine they could have got bigger than this whole room. And when they get that big, God gives them little feet so that they could walk around easier. And when they get feet, they get dangerous. I'm talking about real dangerous. I ain't talking about sitting under the water waiting for you. I'm talking about coming after you.Imagine being on one of them boats coming over to discover America, like Columbus or something, standing there at night on watch, everyone else is either drunk or asleep. And you're watching for America and the boat's going up and down. And you don't like it anyhow but you gotta stand there and watch, for what? Only he knows, and he ain't watching. You hear the waves lapping against the side of the ship. The moon is going behind the clouds. You hear the pitter patter of little footprints on deck. ‘Is that you kids?’ It ain't! My god! It's this humongous, giant clam!Imagine those little feet coming on deck. A clam twice the size of the ship. Feet first. You're standing there shivering with fear, you grab one of these. This is a belaying pin. They used to have these stuck in the holes all around the ship… You probably didn't know what this is for; you probably had an idea, but you were wrong. They used to have these stuck in the holes all along the sides of the ship, everywhere. You wouldn't know what this is for unless you was that guy that night.I mean, you'd grab this out of the hole, run on over there, bam bam on them little feet! Back into the ocean would go a hurt, but not defeated, humongous, giant clam. Ready to strike again when opportunity was better. You know not even the coastal villages was safe from them big clams. You know them big clams had an inland range of about 15 miles. Think of that. I mean our early pioneers and the settlers built little houses all up and down the coast you know. A little inland and stuff like that and they didn't have houses like we got now, with bathrooms and stuff. They built little privies out back. And late at night, maybe a kid would have to go, and he'd go stomping out there in the moonlight. And all they'd hear for miles around...(loud clap/belch).... One less kid for America. One more smiling, smurking, humongous, giant clam.So Americans built forts. Them forts --you know—them pictures of them forts with the wooden points all around. You probably thought them points was for Indians but that's stupid! 'Cause Indians know about doors. But clams didn't. Even if a clam knew about a door, so what? A clam couldn't fit in a door. I mean, he'd come stomping up to a fort at night, put them feet on them points, jump back crying, tears coming out of them everywhere. But Americans couldn't live in forts forever. You couldn't just build one big fort around America. How would you go to the beach? So what they did was they formed groups of people. I mean they had groups of people all up and down the coast form these little alliances. Like up North it was call the Clamshell Alliance. And farther down South it was called the Catfish Alliance. They had these Alliances all up and down the coast defending themselves against these threatening monsters. These humongous giant clams. Andt hey'd go out there, if there was maybe fifteen of them they'd be singing songs in fifteen part harmony. And when one part disappeared, that's how they knew where the clam would be.Which is why Americans only sing in four part harmony to this very day. That proved to be too dangerous. See, what they did was they'd be singing these songs called Clam Chanties, and they'd have these big spears called clampoons. And they'd be walking up and down the beach and the method they eventually devised where they'd have this guy, the most strongest heavy duty true blue American, courageous type dude they could find and they'd have him out there walking up and down the beach by himself with other chicken dudes hiding behind the sand dunes somewhere. He'd be singing the verses. They'd be singing the chorus, and clams would hear 'em. And clams hate music. So clams would come out of the water and they'd come after this one guy. And all you'd see pretty soon was flying all over the sand flying up and down the beach manmanclamclammanmanclam manclamclamman up and down the beach going this way and that way up the hills in the water out of the water behind the trees everywhere. Finally the man would jump over a big sand dune, roll over the side, the clam would come over the dune, fall in the hole and fourteen guys would come out there and stab the shit out of him with their clampoons. That's the way it was. That was one way to deal with them. The other way was to weld two clams together. [I don't believe it. I'm losing it. Hey. What can you do. Another night shot to hell.] Hey, this was serious back then. This was very serious. I mean these songs now are just piddly folk songs. But back then these songs were controversial. These was radical, almost revolutionary songs. Because times was different and clams was a threat to America. That's right. So we want to sing this song tonight about the one last... You see what they did was there was one man, he was one of these men, his name will always be remembered, his name was Reuben Clamzo, and he was one of the last great clam men there ever was. He stuck the last clam stab. The last clampoon into the last clam that was ever seen on this continent. Knowing he would be out of work in an hour. He did it anyway so that you and me could go to the beach in relative safety. That's right. Made America safe for the likes of you and me. And so we sing this song in his memory. He went into whaling like most of them guys did and he got out of that, when he died. You know, clams was much more dangerous than whales. Clams can run in the water, on the water or on the ground, and they are so big sometimes that they can jump and they can spread their kinda shells and kinda almost fly like one of them flying squirrels. You could be standing there thinking that your perfectly safe and all of a sudden whop.... That's true... And so this is the song of this guy by the name of Reuben Clamzo and the song takes place right after he stabbed this clam and the clam was, going through this kinda death dance over on the side somewhere. The song starts there and he goes into whaling and takes you through the next...I sing the part of the guy on the beach by himself. I go like this: Poor old Reuben Clamzo and you go Clamzo Boys Clamzo. That's the part of the fourteen chicken dudes over on the other side. That's what they used to sing. They'd be calling these clams out of the water. Like taunting them making fun of them. Clams would get real mad and come out. Here we go. I want you to sing it in case you ever have an occasion to join such an alliance. You know some of these alliances are still around. Still defending America against things like them clams. If you ever wants to join one, now you have some historic background. So you know where these guys are coming from. It's not just some 60's movement or something, these things go back a long time.Notice the distinction you're going to have to make now between the first and easy Clamzo Boys Clamzo and the more complicated Clamzo Me Boys Clamzo. Stay serious! Folk songs are serious. That's what Pete Seeger told me. Arlo I only want to tell you one thing... Folk songs are serious. I said right. Let's do it in C for Clam...Iet's do it in B... For boy that's a big clam... Iet' s do it in G for Gee, I hope that big clam don't see me. Let's do it in F... For …he sees me. Let's do it back in A...for a clam is coming. Better get this song done quick. The Story of Reuben Clamzo and His Strange Daughter in the Key of A.

Here's how to play "Happier" by Marshmello (feat. Bastille) on piano!

With this piano sheet music, you can play "Happier" on piano.
It's an accurate piano arrangement of the whole song which is not too hard to play, and sounds fantastic!

The whole melody is included in the piano part, so it sounds great when played as an instrumental version. However, you can also use these piano sheets to accompany singers, or sing along yourself!
This sheet music comes with a seperate system for the singer, and includes the song's full lyris.

"Happier" is a follow-up to Marshmello's super-hit "Friends" (feat. Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1160855 Composed by Nick Norton. Chamber,Classical,Contemporary,New Age. Score. 11 pages. Bathysphere Music #761167. Published by Bathysphere Music (A0.1160855). The four calm interludes (should that be capitalized?) are Four One, On Nothing, About Sixths, and On Sol. They are intended as simple, meditative pieces, perhaps good for student pianists to attempt. In spring of 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic took hold, I suffered a massive manic episode followed by a debilitating depression that lasted over a year. During this time I found my relationship with music fraught—I could not compose, and could barely even listen to music for enjoyment, relaxation, or whatever other reasons people listen to music. It was terrifying, thinking my life’s work was over. The shift to being unable to compose or listen, however, was a gradual, like the shift from mania to depression. I found my listening habits following what seemed like a massive ritardando, as they moved away from the upbeat music I was used to toward more and more ambient, very slow music. Hiroshi Yoshimura’s album Music For Nine Postcards was on repeat for a long while before the total break. Its calm repetitions must have influenced what I was doing, because I sometimes found myself at the piano playing the same note or chord over and over again, just listening to the details in the resonance. Out of this came the first of these four pieces, On Nothing.Eight months later I found myself doing it again, the result of which is Four One. Another eight months went by before About Sixths, and then, as my recovery became more and more apparent, only two months passed until On Sol. I am grateful to say I am now composing every day again, though my music has, without conscious intention, taken on a far more introspective feel than ever before.I have not given the pieces numbers, because I don’t mind if they are played in a different order, alone, or—as the title suggests—as interludes between other pieces. I do like the printed order though.

Guitar - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1135655 By Ruth B. By Ruth Berhe. Arranged by Brian Streckfus. Instructional,Pop,Singer/Songwriter. Chords/Lyrics. 2 pages. Brian Streckfus #735713. Published by Brian Streckfus (A0.1135655). This is a shortened version of the song to fit nicely on two pages (I needed a shorter version for the circumstances I'm under). The melody and lyrics are like the original as far as I can tell, but I did make changes to the harmony. Usually these changes to the harmony are to enhance the word painting, or to have it be more idiomatic to guitar. A version like this is ideal for someone who wants to play a very fancy version of the song on solo guitar, though adding vocals in should still be fairly easy. I personally sing a lot better if I can play the melody first on guitar because then I know exactly what I'm doing. Versions like these can really be as simple or as complex as you want, if you want something simple, just play the chord diagrams and sing!1. Guitar Arrangement Lead Sheet Style2. Guitar Tab 3. Chord Charts 4. Less stereotypical chords 5. Fingerings and letter names added to aid in sight-reading 6. Voice leading considerations 7. Making the music idiomatic for guitarTips:1. Notes with the stem direction going down are background harmonies that should be played quietly. This hidden meaning tends to only happen with polyphonic instruments such as piano and guitar. You'll eventually notice this anyways because there is no lyric underneath the note.1. Slurs are notated to the make the music easier and better sounding for guitar not vocals, though of course it often mimicks slurs similiar to a vocalist.2. Fmaj7(#11) is not in the original and is a key change since it includes an F and not an F#.3. Sometimes it can look like the melody does not contain a key change, but then when you anaylze the letter names of the chords, you will find that there is indeed key changes in the chords. The Beatles is a good example of a band that does this often.4. E minor and G major chords technically only need 2 or 3 notes. This is one simple but effective strategy to have less cliche chords.5. The F(#5)(#11) chord in the second to last measure could probably be just an F major chord.6. The E natural in measure 42 could be an Eb if the harmony is too avant-garde for you. Made sense to me because of word painting and I wanted a keyless and dreamy feeling for the end. 7. G/B chords are arguably nicer than a full G chord, though of course the decision is ultimately up to. It is better because the chord is imperfect, it causes the audience to not clap too soon. I also only strum the chord up to where the vocal melody is happening, that way the main melody is always in the spot light, and I find songs are easier to sing this way.
