It is a song that the composer published for the 2008 Summer Olympics (2008 å¹´å¤å£å¥¥è¿ä¼š), officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad hold in Beijing, China. According to the melody of that song, a Russian girl Olga mailed to the author of her idea to fill in the alternative lyrics describing a girl’s love philosophy. Then, the author translated it to both Chinese and English versions of lyrics during the Covid-19 home isolation time 12 years later. Now, the author created a new version of short music video base on his original music video, which was at lower resolution. The author hopes that the re-edited video may be a little improvement for readers. The following are the lyrics:

"Korobeiniki" (Коробе́йники, lit. '"The Peddlers"') (or Korobushka) is a nineteenth-century Russian folk song that tells the story of a meeting between a peddler and a girl, describing their haggling over goods in a metaphor for courtship.
Outside Russia, "Korobeiniki" is widely known as the Tetris theme (titled "A-Type" in the game), the soundtrack of Nintendo's 1989 Game Boy version of the game.
Arranged for cello duet, it is fast and exciting, with pizzicato fun and running notes! Great for jamming, concerts or even for technical studies

This poem is based on an earlier version of a poem by Nekrasov , printed in 1861 on the Sovremennik magazine. The style and tempo of the song led this folk song to become a world wide popular song. Became a world wide popular composition outside Russia in 1989 as The Tetris theme' in the version of Nintendo game, rearranged by a Japanese composer: Hirokazu Tanaka. Korobeiniki ia a name for peddlers with trays ,merchants who sold fabrics, books and other small items in old Russia, before the revolution. Nekrasov's poem is longer, The story is about a young peddler who seduces a peasant girl named Katya in a rye field. He offers her some of his products as gifts in exchange for sexual favours. She rejects all but she ends up accepting a ring he offered. The next morning, he asked her to marry him. The poem ends sadly with the peddler being robbed and killed by a forest ranger.

However, they belie a heart-wrenching true story behind their commissioning as they commemorate the tragic death of a young local girl in boating accident. This piano piece aims to reflect some of the poignancy of these images. The work is characterised by a constant ostinato pedal (a repeated pattern on a single note). Around this, various triadic harmonies are juxtaposed. The piece is highly accessible and is appropriate for most standards of pianist, including students and advanced players. Far to the westernmost regions of Russia, and then farther still, there is a place known as theDancing Forest of Kaliningrad. It is a mysterious, otherworldly place where trees grow in tangles,knots, and other unfathomable shapes, a place described by local psychics as a point of conflict where great positive and negative forces collide. Due to its remarkable air of mystery, the forest has woven its way into the legends and folklore of the region. My personal favorite legend about it goes as follows: The Prussian prince Barty used to hunt in these forests. Chasing a Roe deer one day, heheard a wonderful tune, and as he came to a field, he saw a beautiful girl playing a lyre. She was a Christian and her name was Predislava. The prince proposed to her but she replied that she would marry only a man of her faith. Prince Barty agreed to become a Christian as long as she could prove the power of her invisible God was more powerful than the surrounding trees. Predislava played her lyre. Birds grew silent, and the trees started dancing. The prince then took a bracelet from his hand and gave it to her as a token of their betrothal. On this very spot, many years later, there grew the Dancing Forest.This piece is my homage to the Dancing Forest of Kaliningrad and all its associated legends. Premiered by the Santa Teresa High School Concert Band in May 2019, the work is scored for a concert band of intermediate size and skill level and is designed to help introduce high school musicians to modal music and unconventional key signatures. Furthermore, the piece is inspired by multiple rhythmic and harmonic elements of rock and folk music in an attempt to help bridge the gap between popular music and contemporary wind ensemble repertoire.
