Guitar,Piano,Vocal,Voice - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.859669 Composed by Sydney Stevens. Country,Folk,New Age,Pop. Score. 68 pages. Sydney Stevens, Water Music #2959611. Published by Sydney Stevens, Water Music (A0.859669). Contact: sydneystevenspianostudio@gmail.comCycles of Life Songbook: A collection of 11 original piano/vocals by Sydney Stevens (ASCAP). Book is arranged for piano/vocal with chords and includes one piano solo: Lucy. From the Album: Cycles of LifeMood: Introspective, heartfelt, emotional, comforting, hopeful.Musical Traits: Most songs are arranged with left hand broken chords and right hand reflecting vocal part. Songs included in this book: Cycles of Life, Another Day, Time, Brian's Song, Tumbleweed, Alleys, Herbie, Back to the Heart, Lucy, Dead of Winter, The River [Note: all songs can be sampled &/or purchased on this website] More Links: www.sydneystevenswatermusic.comhttp://www.linkedin.com/in/sydney-stevens-532a113aBIOGRAPHY:Sydney Stevens began writing melodies on the piano before she could reach the pedals. Her earliest memory was watching her mother play classical piano. She began piano lessons at the age of 8, and started composing shortly thereafter.Stevens approaches her compositions as an artist. She paints musical portraits of the things that bring meaning to life: relationship to living things, emotional healing, discovering what matters most and honoring that as best we are able. Stevens' beautiful piano-based music aligns one with their own heart. Although some of her music can be described as New Age, her roots are heavily based in classical and jazz. Her study of classical composition makes her music more complex than some New Age music. Her music has been likened to the impressionistic composers such as Claude Debussy. Sydney's formal training is also reflected in her ability to compose for orchestral instruments. Her latest release, Cycles of Life, was solely recorded and produced by Sydney, programming all of the virtual instruments.Sydney has a great love for jazz. Keith Jarrett was an influence on her with his innovative and improvisational piano recordings and performances. She was particularly impressed with the freedom of style he portrayed in his performances. Bill Evans was something Sydney heard played as a young child. Where her mother was a classical pianist, her father was a jazz pianist. Perhaps that's why some of Sydney’s music can be described as a crossover between classical and jazz--remnants from those early years. Joni Mitchell and Judy Collins were big inspirations for Sydney's songwriting. She was especially drawn to the deeply emotional lyrics in many of their songs.Cycles of Life, the title track from Sydney's current release, was composed for her late step dad. The song is about the cycle of birth and death: Cycles of life go on, yet we carry all that we've known and loved through the ages. Time, another track on Sydney's current release, is a song about how time passes more quickly when we are doing something we cherish. Brian's Song, inspired by the loss of her father-in-law, reflects: All that really matters is the way we fill our heart, and the ways that it has loved. Dawn, a track from Sydney's album Seasons, is a beautiful piano-based instrumental with light string background. It portrays that very peaceful hour as the sun slowly lights up the world -- the hour of dawn.Sydney is a poet. She sees the world through a heart that feels the joy and sorrow of the world and those she meets. Her gift is the ability to transfer that emotion into music. Listening to her music is like taking a journey. She delves into depths of emotion, often taking the listener to places that can be difficult to go without the comfort of a beautiful song to accompany them.In addition.

Flute Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.899175 Composed by Samuel A. Ward (1848-1903). Arranged by Deborah M. Sylvester. Contemporary,Holiday,Patriotic. Individual part. 19 pages. Silverflute Music #482435. Published by Silverflute Music (A0.899175). Emerging aurally with patriotic fervor from the start, this rendition of America the Beautiful is unique in that it is arranged for five flutes. It opens in the key of C, with perfect fifths, creating the sense that something mysterious is on the horizon; then, in the seventh measure, the America theme (a pattern of running sixteenth notes and eighth notes) is heard first in Flute 1, then Flute 2, then Flute 3. Soon after, Flute 4 and then Flute 5 take up the theme, and toward the close of the piece, the same theme is heard in Flutes 3, 5, and then 1 again, respectively. Three verses of America the Beautiful are presented, each portraying the song with added variations, and three keys are surpassed by the close of the work. Very carefully put together and designed to educate the ears of the listener to the end, America the Beautiful will truly be a beautiful addition to the music of any patriotic event.

Brian's Song, inspired by the loss of her father-in-law, reflects: All that really matters is the way we fill our heart, and the ways that it has loved. Dawn, a track from Sydney's album Seasons, is a beautiful piano-based instrumental with light string background. String Quartet String Quartet - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1028773 Composed by L.J Harding. Contemporary. Score and parts. 6 pages. L.J Harding #3921145. Published by L.J Harding (A0.1028773). ‘From Flutter to Flight’ is a String Quartet featuring sequencing, imitation, dynamics and a wide exploration of range. The reason I chose the name ‘From Flutter to Flight’ was because of the inspiration I gained while composing this piece. The story of a bird’s first experience of flight is something that is beautiful, however awkward it may be. The start of the piece, with the duet between Violin 1 & 2, symbolises young birds watching as their parents fly in a dance. The theme is then developed into a four part. The rhythmic pattern in the Viola part represents the fluttering and awkwardness of the young birds as they attempt to fly while the duet between the Violins is maintained and complemented by low notes from the Cello. This represents the birds as they finally begin to learn and begin flying faster and stronger. This swiftly follows by descending thirds on the Cello leading to a four-broken chord progression which creates a sense of adventure and willingness to advance forward. Violin comes in alongside the Cello as the younger birds begin to get more confident. The notes move with the movement of the birds, higher notes representing them flying higher whereas lower notes representing them flying lower. The second theme is then developed with the first theme being played in Violin 2 as a gentle reminder of the birds past and how far they have come. This ends with the return of the first theme in recapitulation followed with some new ideas including a much higher range in Violins 1 & 2 and it closes with the tonic 7th chord to symbolise an ending with the birds finally achieving flight.

Published by MTC Publishing (A0.1269757). Together As One - Choral Composition for SSAA and Piano by Michael Thomas CoullTogether As One is a song about singing in a choir and performing to an audience.  It explores how singing gives us both sides of the emotional coin:  from nervousness and even trepidation on one side, to great joy on the other.   We all feel nervous before a performance, and even more so when we are actually standing in front of the audience.  But then we are announced, the choir director raises their arms, the accompanist starts the introduction and we are all brought in and start singing.  And at that moment we realize something, that when we all sing a great joy overtakes us, lifting us up to another world where our voices meld 'Together As One'.  This original composition for SSAA choir and piano accompaniment is an inspirational song that captures the mood and enjoyment of singing, and how singing effects us both individually and as a group. A song that your choir will love to sing with beautiful harmonies and a soaring descant part, and perfect to perform at any time of the year. Also available for SATB, 2-Part and Unison.

As do Ray meflute studio production #6069725. Published by as do Ray meflute studio production (A0.874263). This Woman's Work by Kate Bush arranged for flute choir /ensemble.I started a new line of flute arrangements called Compositions that Care. With these arrangements, all the money sued to purchase these arrangements goes to special charity or cause . This specific arrangement is for Breast Cancer . This is something that 1 in 8 women will develop in their lifetime, and is special to me because I've had family members, friends and co-workers effected by this cancer. Generally speaking, for October, I would arrange so fun or scary Halloween song, however, October is Breast Cancer Awareness. I could not think of anything better to do than a beautiful arrangement , to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer. This well written, beautiful song by Kate Bush would make a great addition to your music library, something very different and memorable not only for a general audience , but especially for an event celebrating Women , for a breast cancer survivor, for friends and family also effected by this cancer , or a movie or tv themed concert because this song was featured in the movie in She's having a Baby :, to tv shows like Alias and recently in The Hand Maids Tale . This is something very different , beautiful, and easy to derive emotional expression from, and for many this song as well as this cause will be very meaningful for many people.https://youtu.be/ZWbpjVLCyzI Please visit me on the web @ doRaymeflute.com

Brass Ensemble Euphonium,Horn,Trombone,Trumpet,Tuba - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.894390 Composed by Silesian Folk Tune. Arranged by Zack Richards. Christmas,Contemporary,Easter,Sacred. Score and parts. 36 pages. Zack Richards #5203769. Published by Zack Richards (A0.894390). This was my first work ever for a large ensemble. I had been playing trumpet with the Freedom Brass Band of Northeast Ohio under the direction at the time of Robert D. Jorgensen. I spoke with him about wanting to write something for the group and he, as always, encouraged me to do so. I decided to arrange one of my favorite hymns, Fairest Lord Jesus, also known by the name Beautiful Savior. The original tune comes from a Silesian folk song and was first used widely as a hymn tune in the mid-19th century. The tune and harmonies themselves lend very well to a brass ensemble. Adding the fanfare embellishments seemed a natural process and makes this a great concert opener or closer with an impressive start and powerful finish sure to wow the audience.

UPC: 038081404509.Johnny Mercer (1909--1976) was not only one of America's greatest lyricists---he helped define the American South from the outside in. His words paint rich and vivid portraits of life in his native Georgia. Mercer wrote a wide variety of songs, from lush, dreamy ballads to plays on colloquial American expressions. He joined forces with some of the most talented composers of his day, including Harold Arlen, Hoagy Carmichael, and Henry Mancini, to fashion one of the most startlingly original catalogs in American popular music. This songbook commemorates the centennial of his birth with piano/vocal sheet music arrangements (including guitar chord frames) for 46 of his most famous and best-loved classics.
