The meaning of this song is that if we right something down like a message or film tape so on you can then hide it good well sometime in the future the item will still be there as long as it is not destroyed thus it will travel in the future the best way is on paper writings or stone tablets because in the future they may have or may not have the same technology as we do today for videos or tapes so on to see it or hear the message if someone in the future finds it off course it would have to be preserved from things like weather that can destroy it well the old saints preached the gospel everywhere but also wrote it down and hid it well well by miracle by praying GOD preserved it and now we got the holy bible this is proven that there was no way in the world that this holy bible could have survived preserved all these years unless GOD preserved it which he did this is the story of how the holy bible survived the time they found it they found it in different books lots of them in different places of the world this proves there must be a GOD out there who preserved it the HOLY BIBLE thus the song says s o s reaching the future thus it means as i said above

Solo Guitar - Level 4 - SKU: A0.1167528 Composed by Larry Williams. Contemporary,Folk,Jazz. Individual part. 80 pages. Larry Andrew Williams #767908. Published by Larry Andrew Williams (A0.1167528). A WORD FROM THE COMPOSER Is anyone interested in new reading material anymore? I know that when I was a kid in nineteen hundred and something, the quest for new musical pieces was always one of the funnest aspects of the whole musical journey. Of course I did learn that it would take a long time to  nd those few that would resonate with me for a lifetime, but it was always fun trying them all out. It still is, in fact. Well, times change and people change, but I’d still like to believe that same factor carries on. You know, the one about trying out all that music to get to the few you keep. And what about the few we do keep? For guitar players, was it always a classic from the usual suspects, like Albeniz, Sor, Tarrega,, Granados, Rodrigo, Brouwer, Barrios, Villa-Lobos, or anything by Bach? Was it something our band director or private instructor, one of our friends, or our parents wrote? Or – Heaven forbid- something that maybe we ourselves wrote? Or some “unknown guy.â€Â Consider this.Just how often did some unknown composer's piece greatly affect us as we waded through a daunting pile of the familiar from the known masters? And since some, if not most of these classics are required reading, how often did we even get around to giving this unknown guy's piece a try?And furthermore, was this unknown guy - shudder...alive? Let’s face it. In the composer arena, we the living, stand no chance against the deceased (God rest their souls) But by saying “they don’t write ‘em like that anymore,†are we denying ourselves new ground to be broken, doors to be opened, frontiers to be discovered? And isn’t that pioneering spirit just plain ol’ curiosity when it comes right down to it? Well I believe the key lies within the carrying out of these notions that curiosity places in us. It’s climbing the mountain simply because it is there. So, for right now, I’m that unknown guy and I would only urge you to break new ground every day. Lots of trends, ideas, and interests will come and go in your life, but always hang on to that curiosity. It’s what makes the world a smaller neighborhood. Larry Williams.

Published by Stephen R Dalrymple (A0.818226). Elijah (Part 3) God’s Voice♫ Tone Poem for Violin and Piano by Stephen R Dalrymple♫ transcribed for solo flute, clarinet, trumpet, euphonium/trombone, & cello ♫ music © 2015 Stephen R Dalrymple♫ recording ℗  2023 Stephen R Dalrymple♫ sequenced by the composer ♫ presentation © 2023 Stephen R Dalrymple♫ After the victory of Yahweh over Ba’al at Mount Carmel, Elijah and the people executed the 450 prophets of Ba’al. For the first time in 3 years, Elijah prays for rain. In the following rainstorm, Elijah outruns Ahab’s chariot returning to Samaria. But the next morning it seems as if nothing has happened. Jezebel still has her 400 prophets. She sends a message to Elijah that he will be killed.♫ Elijah is discouraged and defeated. Did Mt Carmel really mean nothing? He runs for the wilderness, complaining to God. He is so disheartened that he asks God to take his life. He makes a pilgrimage to Mt Horeb where Moses received the Law, fasting for 40 days, still complaining. He yearns for God to answer him. As at Mt Carmel, God had demonstrated His power at Sinai with thunderstorm and lightning. Elijah is evidently expecting large dramatic gestures for God to reveal Himself. But now God will teach Elijah that He also acts in ordinary, quiet ways, as will his continued ministry♫ 8 Themes were used to create this movement: 1. Ahab (based on Movement 2, theme 3) 2. Jezebel (based on Movement 2 Theme 4 – Atonal) 3. Elijah's Excuses (based on Movement 2 Theme 2 in Dorian Mode) 4. Elijah's Depression (Based on Movement 2 Theme 2 in Dorian Mode) 5. God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (based on Movement 1 Theme 1 in Aeolian Mode) 6. Windstorm (Modified Dorian Mode) 7. Earthquake (tritones and clusters) 8. Vocal Solo,Voice - Level 1 - SKU: A0.719770 Composed by Various. Arranged by Curtis Hanson. Sacred. 10 pages. Curtis Hanson #6069399. Published by Curtis Hanson (A0.719770). As years come and go, one increasingly recalls memories of earlier times. One of the most vivid and cherished memories I have while growing up is of Sunday mornings, going to church, sitting in the same pew each week with my grandmother, hearing and singing the beautiful hymns of our faith, and then returning home to the aroma of beef slowly roasting in the oven. My father directed the church choir, my mother and older brothers sang in the choir, so the wonderful music of our faith was instilled in me from an early age. This medley, and others in the series, are arrangements of many of my favorite hymns from those early years, many of which have been lost in more recent editions. For this series, I have mostly elected to use the older texts as that is the way they were first written and the way I first learned them. (*See below for more comment on the texts in this set.) There is a reverence and beauty in the language enriching the vocal tone which, I believe, is lost in contemporary, conversational, or politically correct syntax. I shudder to think of the day when a penitential phrase such as Hear thou my prayer, O Lord is rendered as Hey, God-dude, listen up - I'm talkin' atcha! I have also opted not to include the many wonderful hymns and carols which are associated with the major festivals of Christmas and Easter as those are commonly found in other collections. A caveat: I have no delusions, and I offer no pretenses, that these settings are great art. They are simply expressions of faith which I hope may bring a small measure of joy to other church musicians. The general concept of each medley is to present the hymn, often in its original chorale form, and then vary its harmony or texture. The hymns in this set are Children of the Heavenly Father, Day by Day, Thy Holy Wings, and Beautiful Savior. This collection of arrangements is also available for SATB voices and piano or piano solo.*A note on the texts in this set: Having grown up in a Swedish Lutheran church, the grandson of Swedish/Norwegian immigrants, and currently being choir director of another Swedish Lutheran church, these hymns have a special place for me. This medley of hymns was originally arranged for my church choir with the first verse of each in Swedish. Being under copyright, permission was obtained to use the more familiar English translations of the first three songs for local use. For this edition, I have opted to create my own texts for the first and third hymns while the second hymn is a translation in public domain. I have also provided a verse in English in lieu of the Swedish for those Nordically challenged. The fourth hymn is not a Swedish melody but for obvious reasons is a mainstay of the Lutheran hymnal. Like the other hymns, the first verse is in Swedish while the other traditional verses are also public domain.

Small Ensemble - Level 3 - SKU: A0.1515104 Composed by Connie Boss. Arranged by Connie Boss. Christian,Christmas. 106 pages. Connie Boss #1089606. Published by Connie Boss (A0.1515104). Everyone knows how special the star was for the birth of Jesus. The star guided many along the way to find the manger that Mary, Joseph and the newborn baby, Jesus were at. This cantata reflects the importance of the star during that time. Most of the songs have lyrics about the star. The cantata starts off with Mary finding out from the angel that God chose her to bear his son - Ave Maria was redone for this advent moment. It keeps to the melody and Ave Maria words are still part of the lyrics. Some of the lyrics have the English translation in the song, while other lyrics are new for this Christmas song. The next song O Little Town of Bethlehem is where Mary and Joseph have to travel to pay their taxes and where Jesus is born. This is where the star shines down for all to see. This is the traditional song, but I have added extra lyrics at the end of each original verse. Next, the shepherds seeing the star decide to travel to Bethlehem. Pachelbel Canon is so iconic, but I have added lyrics from While Shepherds watched their flocks by night, Away in a Manger, What Child is This and The First Noel. The choir parts bring rich harmonies to the piece. The Angels said leave your sheep and leave your lambs. Rise up Shepherd and Follow. Now we are at the manger. I composed the song - A Little Baby. He was born to save us all. . Still, Still, Still “Tis the Night of Our Savior’s Birth has added lyrics to each verse that ties in with the original lyrics. The title of this cantata is They Saw A Star - this is from the song I composed with the same title. It not only brings in the shepherds, but also the Three Wisemen. To close out this cantata, I have used the lyrics from We Three Kings and the melody of Scarborough Fair. This arrangement has an SA duet with SSAA choir parts with ahhs that sound very mysterious. It also does include parts for strings if you are lucky enough to have violins and a cello. The strings parts are the same as the choir parts, so it is perfectly fine to do this with just a choir. I hope you enjoy singing and listening to this cantata—Connie BossI didn't have a minimum copy, so you can make copies of this. This is why I have it priced at this price. For questions or requests, email Cdboss@cvalley.net.

This arrangement has an ST duet with SATB choir parts with ahhs that sound very mysterious. It also does include parts for strings if you are lucky enough to have violins and a cello. The strings parts are the same as the choir parts, so it is perfectly fine to do this with just a choir.  I hope you enjoy singing and listening to this cantata—Connie Boss.

Vocal Solo,Voice - Level 1 - SKU: A0.719768 Composed by Various. Arranged by Curtis Hanson. Sacred. 9 pages. Curtis Hanson #6069393. Published by Curtis Hanson (A0.719768). For this series, I have elected to use the older texts as that is the way they were first written and the way I first learned them. There is a reverence and beauty in the language enriching the vocal tone which, I believe, is lost in contemporary, conversational, or politically correct syntax. The hymns in this set include Breathe on Me, Breath of God, Blest Be the Tie That Binds, and More Love to Thee, O Christ. This collection of arrangements is also available for SATB voices and piano or piano solo.

Published by Bible Truth Music (A0.770865). Preview the entire program here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0Xol62r23UAfter the Fire is a Christmas musical written by Glenn & Jan Christianson along with Byron Foxx. The musical is written for SATB choirs. During a time of year when most people are celebrating the birth of Christ, we join a family who survived a house fire but lost everything. Mike & Sharon, along with their teenage on, Jacob, each respond differently to the tragedy. We see that, even though things look bleak from an earthly standpoint, God is still in control, and He uses even these difficulties to bring glory to Himself. This program has eleven songs for choir. Two of the songs have a female solo who can also be the same person who plays Sharon in the program. With a simple cast of four characters, the program can be done as a complete drama or in reader’s theater format. The program length is approximately 45 minutes.

I decided to make a collection of my favorite Christmas memories as a child and then as a parent. This is the 4th and final song in the collection. It is for solo and piano. In every song, the refrain uses the same lyrics but has a different melody. There are 4 songs in the collection. It is about waking up on Christmas morning and how excited we were to see what Santa had brought us. There are 7 kids in my family and we didn't have a lot of money. One Christmas by the grace of God, dad got a bonus check to buy us presents. Even though I am now 62 years old, I still have fond memories of my youth. As my family is aging, we don't exchange presents, but love to be together on Christmas. cdboss@cvalley.net for any questions.

This song was written when heart transplants were fairly new and still in the news. The song depicts the healing ministry of Jesus brought into modern times. Since people like to put music into categories, the style could be roughly described as being country/bluegrass/synth-driven/gospel pop, which might make it pretty unique! The song was first recorded by the Christian rock group, Whitestone and later by the Sellwoods gospel group. Both versions can be found on Youtube. The Great Healer words and music by David Kai ©1980 I’ve had a heart transplant with a bit of a difference, it may seem rather odd No scalpel, no surgeon, no anesthetic, just between me and God And now a new life beats inside of me, it’s more than mere words can describe My heart keeps time to the rhythm of the Spirit inside Well I went fishing for the truth to life, but I opened up a can of worms False religions and philosophies, misleading me at every turn Well I soon realized that knowledge is fine, but it’s really just a place to start ‘Cause you can change your mind but it’s God that has to change your heart Chorus: Yes, he’s the great healer, in a world of pain and strife, he’s the great healer, and he can mend a broken life And though your hurts be too much to bear, he can heal your wounds with loving care And give you a new life that will never die So if you feel that you’ve lost all your reason to live, good and bad look the same And you’re walking around more dead than alive, life clotting up in your veins Just end your confusion, accept a transfusion of love from the heavenly Lord And to your surprise you’ll find that you have been restored Chorus: I’ve had a heart transplant with a bit of a difference...
