In a sudden change of events, the opposing tribe dies of an unknown disease, and the music unusually lifts at this point, from C Minor to G major. The Tribe then discovers the damage that the world has been left in. We descend back to C Minor from a big climax as the once cheerful tribe all breathe their last breath. The piece runs about 5 minutes and has lots of scaler passages, so practice up your Eb, Bb, and B major scales!

This is the nineteenth volume of an extensive collection of folk songs arranged for the classical guitar mostly in two-part counterpoint. The arrangements are of moderate difficulty and the aims of this publication are to familiarise, entertain and educate guitarists (and other musicians) with a melodic repertoire of lasting aesthetic value, under the light of contrapuntal treatment. The thirty five volumes of this collection can certainly be printed on paper if so desired and there are a few pages in each volume, either blank or with photographs of various musicians, which can be inserted at will in any place for the correct ordering of left and right hand pages so that page turns can be avoided. The principle of avoiding page turns has been maintained in all volumes, but this edition is also designed with mobile electronic devices in mind such as tablets etc, using the environment and facilities of a score reading application, towards a paperless world, at least in music. Therefore the size of the staves is bigger than usual for ease of reading on a small screen but not big enough to exceed the limit of a two-page view. Written during a time where women's voices were often silenced, and just one year after her marriage, Night Song at Amalfi vibrantly illustrates the stuggle to be a woman in a society that expected women to be submissive, and the stark reality that she andmany other women faced.While women's rights have made great strides over the years, women and other minority groups still stuggle to have their voices heard. This song is for all of them.This piece was commissioned by the New Canon Project, a partnership between the American Choral Directors Association, the American String Teachers Association, and Rising Tide Music Press, with support of the Sphinx Venture Fund. This piece is written for school-aged groups, but is accessible to choirs of all levels and challenges the choir with part independence and modal writing. This famous melody takes many twists and turns and is handed between parts many times. Elements of jazz tonality and 20th century harmonies are sprinkled in, but just enough to tweak the ear, yet entertain a wide audience. A few liberties are taken with rhythms to add additional complexity, yet- as always with my arrangements- ossia and performance options are included to facilitate performances by still-developing musicians.

Pitchfork reviewer Ryan Dombal characterises its subject matter as being about the process of our bodies decomposing in the ground only to rise again as overgrown vines. Something that could be grim is instead glorious in weirdness, inviting listeners (and singers) to stare with Feist into the void and discover, at its heart, a story of return to our earthly origins.The arrangement is in six parts for womens' voices (SSAAAA). It is designed for a cappella singing with a small section of optional body percussion. Chord symbols are included to facilitate teaching.

Waves is a piece for solo piano. The piece is a representation in sound of the tide going back and forth in the ocean, getting stronger and stronger over time before resetting to its baseline strength. Over a steady bass line harmonies are constantly changing. The rhythm stays consistent with slight ebbs and flows. The chords get more and more dense, from triads to seventh chords to ninth chords, like the tide gradually growing stronger, before eventually “dissipating†at the end of the piece, returning to simple triads and ending on a C chord.
