Cello Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.900336 Composed by Eliot Kennedy and Gary Barlow. Arranged by Liz Lee - Cellomoji. Contemporary. Individual part. 4 pages. Cellomoji #6307305. Published by Cellomoji (A0.900336). Here's the beautiful duet from the musical Finding Neverland. Even though it is only written for a single cello player I think it captures the song beautifully. There are some challenges with the key changes, but if you are practicing your scales you should be able to get this. I hope you have fun learning this one!Questions? liz@cellomoji.comCellomoji Website: http://eepurl.com/cOx6H9Cellomoji Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCS8SDY7dyqUR4P3t3qRPISgCellomoji Instagram: www.instagram.com/cellomoji

Concert Band - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.998359 Composed by Aaron Fonzi. Christmas,Contemporary,Folk,Standards. Score and parts. 25 pages. Aaron Fonzi #4834971. Published by Aaron Fonzi (A0.998359). This lyrical piece is a delightful way to introduce your young band to ballad style. Exploring slurs, accents, dynamics, caesuras, ritardandos and more, you'll be shocked by how sophisticated this beautiful piece sounds while using only a limited number of notes. Written to convey the playful innocence of a child dreaming, In Your Slumber balances the calm of a starry sky with the imagination and adventure of a child's mind at rest. Simple and elegant, the lullaby played by the flutes in the beginning gives way to an imaginative variation on the theme by the trumpets and clarinets at B. Gentle, pulsating tenutos in the harmonizing chords underneath are symbolic of relaxed, rhythmic breathing underlying the musical thoughts flowing by above them. Just as in dreams we seldom have control of which direction the story may go, D takes us somewhere else musically and implies a build to a false climax. At E, we are greeted with the quiet sounds of the night once more, but this time our imagination runs wild as the music builds to the climax of the piece at F. This powerful proclamation of the melody is concluded with a gentle final statement in the flute and clarinet, and the piece concludes with the final twinkle of the stars as the sun rises for a new day.Full of imagination, beauty and teachable moments throughout, I hope that you and your students can enjoy and appreciate this piece for it's simple beauty as I do. Onward!~Aaron FonziREHEARSAL NOTES:1. The clarinet part should be a very light drone creating atmosphere at the beginning- the same goes for the clarinet and saxophone at rehearsal E.2. It's easy to get too loud too soon in this piece, so remind your students to have patience. F is the climax of the piece, but many young students will want to play C as if it is. Similarly, be sure to balance the trumpet/ clarinet and the flute/ oboe/ bells at C so both lines come out evenly.3. Take your time in measure 48- we want to naturally fade away and pause before going on at rehearsal E. This increase and decrease in energy is a characterization of the ebb and flow of the piece.4. At F, there are 3 important parts that must be balanced: flute/oboe/bells; trumpet/clarinet; alto saxophone/horn. For best results, balance these 3 parts, and encourage the alto/horn line to play out a bit more than they think they need to. They are the new part which must be heard here.5. Have fun and use your imagination in terms of expressing the music- ask your students what it makes them think of and create a story to go along with it. Let this ultimately guide your interpretation. I am consistently impressed with the creative ideas my students come up with, so let them decide how the music should sound with their own stories. In your slumber, anything is possible!

Jazz Ensemble Jazz Ensemble - Digital Download SKU: A0.947280 Composed by John Philips. Jazz. Score and parts. 36 pages. John Philips Music Service #3867733. Published by John Philips Music Service (A0.947280). This is a funky 2 beat built on double (24 bar) blues. It has an optional vocal,( cued in for alto sax) that should be sung thru a megaphone like the old Winchester Cathedral. The title comes from a pattern of speech found only in Chicago where people still say over by here and over by there. It swings well and invites a couple tambourines playing on 2 and 4. This is a fun chart but is very correct musically even if you expect the Blues Brothers to show up when it’s played. It can be opened for solos if needed. Don’t get too serious about the vocal, it’s best with your worst singer, maybe with a clothes-pin on his nose. Enjoy it with your audience. If you want a Maynard or Buddy chart, look elsewhere. This series of charts uses nothing more complicated than eighth notes, are not frantic or screamers, extreme ranges and are hemi-demi-semi-quaver free. They depend on intonation and the players being not intimidated by what he is asked to play. There is no contest to see how high you can go before you need oxygen , how many notes you can play in 9 seconds or before your bell overheats , or how long it takes the audience to cover their earsRelaxed and confident players always play more in tune. Good harmonies, lines and realistic rhythm patterns will produce a good result that will swing and be enjoyed by player and listener alike.

Cello Solo - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.900320 By Bob Dylan. By Bob Dylan. Arranged by Liz Lee - Cellomoji. Pop,R & B. Individual part. 3 pages. Cellomoji #5313205. Published by Cellomoji (A0.900320). Here is an arrangement of Adele's beautiful version of this song. This edition is written with the idea to practice some tenor clef reading as well. If you are not comfortable in this upper range take a search for my version that is lower and all written in bass clef. You should be comfortable playing the B flat major 2 octave scale to be able to play this edition. Written in the key of her recording I encourage you to play alongside her recording and have fun with this one! This is a beautiful and popular song so I hope that you will give this a try on the cello!Cellomoji Website: http://eepurl.com/cOx6H9Cellomoji Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCS8SDY7dyqUR4P3t3qRPISgCellomoji Instagram: www.instagram.com/cellomoji

Full Orchestra Flute, Oboe, Clarinet in Bb, Bassoon, French Horns in F I and II, Trumpet in Bb, Trombone, Percussion, (Timpani, Glockenspiel), Violin I, Violin II, Viola, Violoncello, Double bass - Advanced - Digital Download SKU: 2S.4251133750706 Composed by Silvano A. Pagliuca-Mena. Jazz. Score and Parts. 46 pages. Soundnotation #4251133750706. Published by Soundnotation (2S.4251133750706). La Cabra Mocha (Full Score) is a Gaita de Furro. Because it belongs to the folklore of Zulia, its origin remains unclear and a dispute over the authorship of the composition currently revolves around Pradelio Hernandez and Jesus Lozano. Although its date of origin is considered equally indefinable for the same reason, its official appearance can be narrowed down to the middle of the 20th century. Probably it's much older, but due to the technological improvements of music recording, the piece became popular only later. La Cabra Mocha is a musical jewel that tells the story of a nation who has a wisdom and finds in music the way to express itself. The history of its transculturation is remarkable, although it also carries contradictions, depending on the way of representing. Sometimes its imposed stereotypes are accepted by society due to a lack of self-knowledge, which ultimately leads to a change of identity, where some elements are transfigured and others are replaced. Arranging a Gaita de Furro for youth orchestra makes sense for the following reasons: First and foremost, the self-knowledge of a society should start from the childhood and should be cultivated and carried on from generation to generation, thereby conserved. Moreover, a lack of a pedagogical act, thus a pedagogical repertoire, is one of the main causes for the ignorance of Venezuelan music. Another important aspect is the transformation or adaptation as a process of maintaining Venezuelan musical culture. Many children already present the intention of the composition by drawing their attention to the formation of the orchestra, which represents a globally unified language as a network of distribution and which is locally independent. Wherever the composition is played - each orchestra will be able to maintain the quality and expressiveness of the piece without hiding its identity. The piece opens with a fanfare introduction of the Cabra Mocha, followed by a drum roll, which reminds of the drummer's traditional reputation and introduces the theme whose chorus is represented by the tutti and its verses by the soli. The first variation consists of a two-bar rhythm and major tonality, full of wit and cunning. The following variation is an Adagio with a three-part rhythm in minor. Then the timpani return to initiate the theme, this time shortened by its Reprise, which finally leads to a polyphonic Codetta. On an interpretative level, the return of variation can be compared with the return of education and thus, to a certain extent, improvisation. This is a very striking factor of traditional music, which is represented as a fitting metaphor in the form of harmonic and rhythmic reference within the composition. Introduccion, Tema y Variaciones sobre la Cabra Mocha was composed in the last weeks of 2012 and won the first prize in the composition competition for the Youth Orchestra of Zulia, which was awarded by the Venezuelan Orchestra in its first edition in 2013. At the beginning of 2014 Silvano Pagliuca-Mena made a small revision of the piece. Silvano Antonio Pagliuca Mena was born on 10 May 1991 in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Despite his Italian and Spanish roots, he has always remained true to his love for the music of his homeland, which is why his compositions always carry Venezuelan impressions, but also influences like academic western music, jazz and popular music.

Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1033403 Composed by Adam Geibel, Evan Stephens, Grace Gordon, and Will L. Thompson. Arranged by Stacey Oakes. Christian,Gospel,Sacred,Spiritual. Octavo. 12 pages. Stacey Oakes at Whiting Publishing #3878753. Published by Stacey Oakes at Whiting Publishing (A0.1033403). Good for Missionary or Youth Musical Numbers - Soprano/Tenor or Men/Women Choirs This medley was written upon request for a missionary's send-off! It's great for: - Church Services - Missionary Farewells and Homecomings - Firesides - Youth Choirs - Adult Choirs - Soprano and Tenor Duet Purpose/Message: The medley's purpose is to invigorate us and to encourage us to be brave in sharing truth. It emphasizes the concepts of pressing on, having courage, and not fearing. Difficulty: Medium (There are some independent singing sections, some notes at the top of the soprano and tenor range, and a couple spots with less typical harmonies. It is, however, not a difficult piece overall. Those who are accustomed to singing in choirs will have no trouble but will be challenged enough to enjoy the piece.) Range: The notes are within range for a somewhat experienced or serious singer. If using in a choir, you can have the higher notes sung one octave lower by those out of range, or add a harmonic note as needed. There are only a couple of instances where this might be needed. Solutions to Problems: If you have youth afraid to go on missions, this song will help them take courage and be brave. If you have adults who are faltering from fear (as all do on occasion), it is hoped this song will bolster their courage and resolve. Duration of Work: This medley is approximately 4:12 minutes long. Performing Rights Organization: The composer is a member of BMI. Contact Information: You can contact the composer through MyMusicStash.blogspot.com. Some of her works are also posted on Instagram @LDSSheetMusic Called to Serve: Grace Gordon, Adam Geibel; Let Us All Press On: Evan Stephens; Put Your Shoulder to the Wheel: Will L. Thompson.

Trumpet Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.829071 Composed by Eric Bolvin. Instructional,Jazz. Individual part. 64 pages. ERIC V BOLVIN #3579875. Published by ERIC V BOLVIN (A0.829071). The Be-Bop Range Book is a creative approach to developing range, technique and improvisational be-bop skills for trumpet.IntroductionTrumpet range and developing it is one of the most common and controversial subjects among trumpet players, teachers and authors. Without delving too far into the physical and scientific aspects of trumpet playing, allow me to paraphrase the great Yogi Berra; The upper register of the trumpet is the same as the middle and lower registers, just different. All trumpet playing is a coordination or balance of three things: air, tongue level and embouchure. It is through sensible, intelligent and consistent practice that we develop the skills necessary to play throughout the entire range of our instrument.Purpose Of This BookAlthough hitting the high note may be the quest for many trumpet players, a more useful and musical goal is developing a large playable range. This means being able to articulate and play musically and dynamically throughout the entire range of the instrument. This is accomplished through the use of Range Arcs, which are musical phrases that cover a large range. In addition to building our playable range, we are working on technique and adding to our jazz vocabulary.I originally developed the concept of Range Arcs in The Modern Jazz Trumpet Method. Many players have commented on how useful these studies are, so I decided to expand on it here. For more rudimentary range, flexibility and endurance study, seeTongue Level & Air.The Approach NoteI have found that how we approach the highest note of a musical phrase is critical to range development. This aspect of range development is presented here in a progressive, creative format.Exercises 1-5 use the Chromatic Approach. This means that the highest note of the arc is approached from a 1â„2 step below. The exercises continue, adding a 1â„2 step to the approach note every five exercises.Articulation & PhrasingAll exercises in this book are to be played in a swing style. However, if you are having trouble with an exercise, sometimes playing it straight may help. Jazz articulation should also be employed throughout. What does that mean exactly? Jazz trumpet articulation is as spontaneous and individual as an improvised solo. Honestly, if I have to think about it, I can’t do it. The best advice is to listen to the trumpet players quoted in this book and to as much jazz trumpet as you can. Transcribe and play solos while emulating their style and articulation.Immersing yourself in this will result in your own personal style of articulation. Jazz articulation on trumpet is also born out of necessity. Some slurs in a line may just not be possible so you must tongue. This will be revealed when you start some of the exercises that contain wider intervals. How To Use This BookEach exercise group consists of a Range Arc, Range Builder and Range Builder Extended. Each group should be practiced for at least one week before moving ahead to the next one.Range ArcsThe Range Arc is the original lick. Many of these have been borrowed from some of the great jazz trumpeters of all time; Freddie Hubbard, Clifford Brown, Lee Morgan, Chet Baker, Tom Harrell, Randy Brecker, Fats Navarro and Blue Mitchell. You should begin with the key that is marked with an asterisk * ; it is an easy key and range and will help you familiarize yourself with the lick. Practice slowly at first and then work for speed. Once you are familiar with the * lick, start at the beginning of the Range Arc. Work on each key until you get it smoothly. Repeat as needed and rest between each key. Take the D.C. and play 8va through the indicated key (see the box at the end of the Range Arc) that takes you to High C. Rest for 15 minutes.Range BuildersAfter resting, you are ready for the Range Builder. These are short.

Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1320143 By Ian Munsick. By Dave Villa, Ian Munsick, Jamie Kenney, and Niko Moon. Arranged by Kyle Pudenz. 21st Century,Contemporary,Country,Pop,Wedding. Chords/Lyrics. 5 pages. ViolinVagabond Music #908674. Published by ViolinVagabond Music (A0.1320143). Here's a chart designed for the last-minute gigging musician, by the last-minute gigging musician. Indeed, I got called in to sub on a wedding gig on less than a week's notice, and found this song right at the top of the list. Having not played or listened to it... ever, I decided to display some semblance of due dilligence and write out a version that would work in the range of a solo instrumental violin. Then, and don't ask me where this sudden magnanimous streak came from, I decided to spin up the same chart with lyrics and chord diagrams just in case I ever needed to play it with a vocalist.Out of the goodness of my heart, ALL of the above is available to you for the low low price of about 5 bucks. While I was tabbing this out from the perspective of a violinist, the range is pretty universal and should be playable on just about any treble clef instrument. Including the viola... although if you got hired to play solo viola at a wedding or a cocktail hour I have questions. It's nothing spectacular, but here's what I can promise you if you buy this chart:- THE CHORDS ARE RIGHT. I honestly can't believe there are people that get the chords to songs like these wrong on their arrangements, but here we are. Rest assured I am not one of them.- YOU CAN ACTUALLY READ IT. Finale collisions and terrible interpretations of vocal rhythms need not apply here.- THE MELODY WILL WORK ON YOUR INSTRUMENT. Again, this is not one of those hyper-transcriptions of every little vocal ornament that was sang on the studio version. I purposefully chose where to simplify vs. embellish the melody so that there's room for instrumental interpretation without getting lost in the details.May this humble arranger's last-minute busy work bring joy to your audience and at least an extra 30 minutes of sleep to you by not having to learn this song the night before the gig. Enjoy the hustle, friends.

Returning home, he began his law practice and eventually became mayor of Guben. As an avocation, the Lutheran politician wrote poems–and soonbecame known as one of the leading hymnists of his time, ranked only behind Gerhard. He is credited for the creation of a group of so-called Jesus hymns, building the foundation for the pietistic hymn movement that would later sweep through Europe. Franck once wrote that poetry should be the nurse of piety, the herald of immortality, the promoter of cheerfulness, the conqueror of sadness, and a foretaste of heavenly glory. Indeed, his hymns echoed his own spirit of encouragement.Lyndell Leatherman (b. 1953) was born into a Nazarene parsonage in southeast Kansas. After studying church music and composition at Olivet Nazarene University (Kankakee, Illinois) and Illinois State University (Bloomington-Normal, Illinois), he launched into a life of music ministry. Since 1977 he has enjoyed a diverse career as church musician, editor, accompanist, composer, and arranger. In 1998 he became aware of Franck’s eucharistic / Advent hymn, translated either Deck Thyself with Joy and Gladness (Mattes) or Deck Thyself, My Soul, with Gladness (Winkworth). Because the text was unique in its unusually exultant treatment of the sacrament of holy communion, Lyndell felt that the hymn was worthy of renewed consideration in the third millennium of Christian worship. So he updated the language and gave it the new musical setting used here. ************It has long been my passion and privilege to create customized arrangements for the churches and schools with whom I have been associated. Choral Choir,Choral,SATB Chorus - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1496253 Composed by Philip Le Bas. A Cappella,Christian,Praise & Worship,Religious,Sacred. 7 pages. Philip Le Bas #1072778. Published by Philip Le Bas (A0.1496253). A new setting of Psalm 139 by Philip Le Bas, which begins O Lord, you have searched me out and known me - text printed below. The psalm is a deeply personal reflection by the psalmist on the wonder of my being and on the inescapability of God's love, wherever we might try to hide, and whatever we might do ourselves or might experience - even death. This gentle setting for unaccompanied SATB choir uses the full range of all four choral voices, with just one divisi passage at the end of the composition in the tenor and bass parts. The piece should be sung meditatively, without too much drama, even in the fortissimo passages, aiming for a sense of wonder and inner peace. Psalm 139 O Lord, you have searched me out and known me; you know all my sitting down and rising; you discern my thoughts from afar. You mark all my journeys and my resting place and are acquainted with all my ways. For not a word is on my tongue but, Lord, you know it altogether. You encompass me, behind and before me, you lay you hand upon me. O where can I go from your spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence? If I climb up to heaven you are there; you are there if the grave is where I lie. If I take the wings of the morning, or dwell in the depths of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, your right hand hold me fast. You created my innermost parts; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I thank you for the wonder of my being, I marvel at all your works. Amen.

Percussion Ensemble - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.899162 By Bobby McFerrin. By Bobby McFerrin. Arranged by Ricardo Matosinhos. Jazz. Score and parts. 32 pages. Ricardo Matosinhos #5723941. Published by Ricardo Matosinhos (A0.899162). This is a well known piece by Bobby McFerrin. Here presented on a music arrangement for unconventional music instruments. The arrangement allows flexibility, so this piece can be performed using tuned bottles (25cl, 33cl and 75cl), lip whistle, finger snaps, complemented with xylophones and optionally with voices to sing the lyrics too. This arrangement was made during the 2020 quarantine, when the world was shutdown due to a world virus pandemic. Some of the music students didn’t have their music instruments at home, so this arrangement came up to fill that gap and it is perfect to keep doing music with the available option of instruments. On each rehearsal letter, you can play optional improvisations, while keeping the voices 5-8. These improvisations can be easily done using the C major pentatonic scale or the note ranges presented on the right, that even include Eâ™ and Bâ™. If played using lip whistle, bendings will be possible too. This arrangement presents 8 voices and an alternative solution for voice 8, that makes it easier to be performed as it is the place where bottles are divided between the players. There is also an optional bass line to complement voice eight one octave bellow. In order to keep it simple, neither dynamics or articulations were included and the notes were represented always in the middle octave in G clef. The correct pitch ranges are presented in the performance notes. The amount of water will change the pitch differently depending if you are blowing or doing percussion on a bottle. When blowing, the more water you use, the higher the pitch will be, but while doing percussions more water means lower pitch. A good option, in order to save time during rehearsals, is to fill the bottles with water, marking the level with a pen, and then filling the bottle with the desired amount of hot wax instead of water. This way, when the wax cools down you can have a tuned bottle without requiring to tune it again every single rehearsal. Please note that the bottles should be made of glass and that different aspects change the performance. For percussion, straight bottles are better to tune as the curves in the bottles tend to produce unstable pitches. The extreme notes of the range might not be available in every single bottle, so you might need to try some alternatives. For example the high A is available in some beer bottles, while the low G is available in larger 75cl bottles of champaign. Last but not least, this piece should always be played according to Bobby’s motto: dont worry, be happy!I had lots of fun while doing this arrangement, now it’s your time to have fun while performing it!Ricardo Matosinhoshttp://www.ricardomatosinhos.com

WHY ARE YOU SO LONELY From the CD ALL IN MY LIFE Track 5 - Why Are You So Lonely WHY ARE YOU SO LONELY is a pop song written with chord changes that are a bit unusual for a pop song in the world of modern music of today. This was done in order to allow the singer to ask questions to a loved one who seems to fail in the return of the love offered by the singer. Yes, it is a song of unrequited love but with a double meaning. It can be understood as a lover trying to encourage the loved one to believe not only in oneself but also to trust in the love the lover has offered. In like manner, it may also be understood as Our Blessed Lord Jesus asking the loved one to trust in Him for true meaning in life. If life is seen as a card game then only God should be your dealer. Somewhere in my mind I felt influenced by Mozart thinking that if he were alive today he might write a pop song with similar chord changes. The printed sheet music here shows the song as a Lead Sheet. That is, the melody, the lyrics and the chords. Published by Grace Tuhy (A0.1241465). In the arrangment Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery/Here is Love/In Christ Alone, three hymns of Jesus' sacrifice, amazing love, and ressurection from the dead can be found. While the arrangement has a simplistic air about it, simplicity can still prove to be elegant. This arrangement is perfect for prelude, and while this arrangement has simplicity it will still captivate those who are listening. Also, because of the simplicity, it is easily adaptable to your own style. This arrangment is also easily adaptable to single out a certain hymn in it for other use. When playing this piece, play with feeling and passion to elevate it from simple to extrodinary. Tips for playing the arrangement:1. Play the first sample page before buying to be able to understand the feel of the arrangement.2. Read the hymns' original lyrics before playing through the arrangement. (Reading the lyrics will help you understand how the arrangement should be played)3. In the arrangment there are two key changes, but they are simple and straight foward so as to not catch you off guard. 4. Use the damper pedal as you deem fit for the arrangement.5. Play with lots of dynamics.Â

Piano Accompaniment, Dan CutchenTime: approximately 6:00And Can It Be That I Should Gain? is a Christian hymn written by Charles Wesley. And Can It Be was written in 1738 to celebrate Wesley's conversion, which he regarded as having taken place on May 21 of that year. This beautiful hymn has been popular and enduring. And Can It Be That I Should Gain is perhaps one of the most joyfully poignant hymns penned by Charles Wesley (1707-1788). On Whitsunday (Pentecost), May 21, 1738, three days before his brother John experienced his heart strangely warmed,’ Charles was convalescing in the home of John Bray, a poor mechanic, when he heard a voice saying, In the name of Jesus of Nazareth, arise, and believe, and thou shalt be healed of all thy infirmities. The voice was most likely Mr. Bray’s sister who felt commanded to say these words in a dream.Anglican hymn writer Timothy Dudley-Smith, notes that the following then happened:Charles got out of bed and opening his Bible read from the Psalms: He have put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God, followed by the first verse of Isaiah 40, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. He wrote in his journal, I have found myself at peace with God, and rejoiced in the hope of love Christ (Dudley-Smith, 1987, 1).The statement from Mr. Bray’s sister sparked within Charles a conviction like he had never felt before. Moved and convicted in spirit, Charles wrestled with these words until he came to rest in his faith, knowing that it is by faith we are saved (Ephesians 2:8).Soon after this conversion experience, he wrote two hymns in celebration of the amazing love he had come to know: And Can It Be that I Should Gain and Where Shall My Wondering Soul Begin? (United Methodist Hymnal, 342)There has been some debate as to which hymn was written first, but most current scholarship accepts the latter as the first hymn written by Charles after his conversion experience. This beautiful melody by John Barry was used for the 80s movie Somewhere in Time with Jane Seymour and Chritopher Reeve, considered by some to be the most romantic movie ever. This arrangement for string orchestra is complemented by piano which also has some solo parts like a mini piano concerto. Actually, the piece draws from two melodic sources, the main theme by John Barry, as well as a second theme composed by Sergei Rachmaninoff, who in turn wrote it as a series of variations based on a theme by Paganini. The piece itsself is not too complicated, but does need an intermediate level to be able to play; the piano part should be performed by someone with advanced intermediate skills, as it has some flashy passages. You can listen to the complete piece here:https://soundcloud.com/claudio-porstmann/somewhere-in-time-movie-theme-john-barry

Choral Choir (3-Part) - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1217996 By Linda Ronstadt. By Al Hoffman, Jerry Livingston, and Mack David. Arranged by Stewart J Wallace. Broadway,Film/TV,Musical/Show,Romantic Period,Standards. Octavo. 16 pages. Stewart J Wallace #814519. Published by Stewart J Wallace (A0.1217996). The melody of this song written for the Disney film Cinderella (1950) was inspired by Liszt's Transcendental Study No. 9. It's a wistful, tender melody which matches the sentiment of the words, and in the film Cinderalla encourages her animal friends to never stop dreaming or believing in a brighter future. Other Disney songs also echo this sentiment, such as When You Wish Upon A Star from Pinnochio, which was released a decade earlier. This arrangement is in 3-parts with a simple piano accompaniment. It should be sung smoothly and with sustain, and the men can enjoy taking the tune the second time through. The ending should be dramatic and bold. There are two layout versions - one with the piano accompaniment, and the other with just the vocal parts.

Easy Piano - Level 1 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1413531 Composed by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman. Arranged by Rebecca Bijkerk. Broadway,Children,Film/TV,Musical/Show,Pop,Traditional. Score. 2 pages. Rebecca Bijkerk #995349. Published by Rebecca Bijkerk (A0.1413531). This is an easy arrangment of Be Our Guest from Beauty and the Beast. I've simplified it enough that is should be playable by anyone who is just starting to read the staff and has a basic understand of rhytymn and keyboard geography. All the notes and finger numbers are writtin in. There are some complex rhytymns like dotted quarter notes. However, that shouldn't be an issue, even if the student haven't learned these yet because they will mostly be playing from memory. This song should be taught by a teacher or someone else who knows piano as there are some hand movements that need to be explained. Besides that, this song is fairly easy and I am sure your students will love it!
