Faber Music #12-0571507719. Published by Faber Music (AP.12-0571507719). ISBN 9780571507719. English. The Faber Early Organ Series is among the most comprehensive anthologies of early organ music ever published. In 18 volumes it spans two centuries and six geographical regions, presenting a broad and balanced view of the main forms, styles and composers. Within each geographical region the pieces, most of which are for manuals only, are arranged by date of composition or publication. The presentation is both scholarly and practical; all of the music has been newly edited from the earliest surviving sources according to a systematic editorial method that preserves as many features of the original notation as possible while making it fully accessible to modern players. In every volume, an informative Introduction sets the music in historical context. There are also helpful sections on Ornamentation and Registration, and a Critical Commentary giving detailed information on the sources. $20.99 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 1 to 2 weeks

Published by MDS (Music Distribution Services) (M7.DOHR-20565). ISBN 9790202045657. Organ SKU: BR.EB-3938 12 Compositions of the 15th and 16th Century...(+)
Organ SKU: BR.EB-3938 12 Compositions of the 15th and 16th Century. Composed by Arnold Schering. Edited by Arnold Schering. Solo instruments; stapled. Edition Breitkopf. Renaissance/early Baroque; Baroque. Score. 40 pages. Breitkopf and Haertel #EB 3938. Published by Breitkopf and Haertel (BR.EB-3938). ISBN 9790004162057. 12 x 9 inches. Oktober 1483 in Ravensburg (Wurttemberg) geboren. Orto starb 1529 in Nivelles. $24.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 3 to 4 weeks

ISBN 9790007200794. Language: Latin. Anton Bruckner's Te Deum - a high point in the composer's output and one of the most important works of the sacred choral repertoire in the 19th century - is now available in a modern, scholarly edition. The Carus edition draws on both the two sources regarded as important, the autograph score and the first printed edition, with careful consideration given to variant readings. And so a music text has been prepared which reflects the composer's intentions as closely as possible. Great emphasis has been placed on a clear-to-read layout of the full score pages, as well as excellent legibility for the parts, which are available on sale. With current performance practice in mind, the clarinet parts are notated in B flat instead of A, corresponding with the first printed edition. The vocal score has been newly prepared to reflect current practical requirements. As an economical alternative, a chorus score is available. Bruckner's Te Deum is also available in carus music, the choir app. The app contains the music and a recording, as well as a coach to help with learning each choral part. In preparation: arrangement of the Te Deum for soli, choir, brass quintet and organ. The composition of chorale preludes accompanied Reger throughout his entire career, even though they were composed primarily in the years from 1900 to 1902 and 1914 (Opus 135a). As almost no other composer at the turn of the century, he dedicated himself to the chorale prelude, composing around 100 works in this genre. Published by Carus Verlag (CA.1817900). ISBN 9790007188979. Language: all languages. It is no coincidence that the Toccata from Widor's Vth Organ Symphony is his best-known composition. Who can resist its thrilling verve? Not only this, but also the other movements of this unique work of the organ repertoire win you over immediately - the first with its march-like, majestic, much-varied theme; the second with its wonderfully elegiac oboe melody, flowing along over staccato sixteenth notes; and the two slow movements, of which the melancholy, almost static Adagio forms the greatest contrast imaginable to the following triumphal Toccata. The Carus Urtext edition is based on the Paris edition of 1928/29, the last one to be published during Widor's lifetime. The corrections which the composer made after the publication of this edition have also been taken into consideration. As well as this, earlier editions have been consulted for comparison to clarify individual variant readings. Editorial suggestions on the performance of individual passages complete the new edition.
