This one is way cool, but the energy it creates is hot. It's a medium tempo swinger in a minor key, reminiscent of some of the great Buddy Rich tunes. Just when you think you know where it's going, the harmonies change and lead to something new. The open section for solos of your choice is built upon very basic minor Blues changes. Plenty of dynamic contrasts, with a very soft sax soli leading into a shout chorus that really roars.

Everybody knows this classic children's hymn, but nobody has heard it quite like this before. It's very cool and a lot of fun. Can feature any instrumental or even vocal soloists. A word of warning: if you use a vocalist, there's a very good chance that the audience will start singing along with some hand jive motions included. Playable with limited instrumentation. The open solo section for any instrument is over a 2-chord vamp, but one simple scale is all the soloist(s) need to sound impressive. The shout chorus drives it home to a powerful ending. This one rocks hard, but plays easy!
