German title: Drei Schone Ding Sind. Sacred, Motets; Occasions: Peace and Justice, Wedding. Full score. Composed 1623. No. 20. Duration 4 minutes. Carus Verlag #CV 01.820/00. Published by Carus Verlag (CA.182000). ISBN 9790007039226. Language: German/English. Johann Hermann Schein's Israelsbrunnlein, published in Leipzig in 1623, is a supreme achievement not only among the works of this composer, who had been Thomaskantor in Leipzig since 1616, but also for the entire body of German music written during the first half of the 17th century. Among the 26 motets written in the Italian madrigal manner 23 are settings of Old Testament texts, a fact to which the collection owes its title. The source for the text of this collection is the inexhaustible fountain of the Psalms, the books of Moses, the Prophets, the Songs of Solomon, and other books of the Old Testament. $6.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

Published by Breitkopf and Haertel (BR.PB-5105-07). ISBN 9790004208557. 9 x 12 inches. Zitat: Moro lasso, al mio duolo (Ich sterbe, matt, an meiner Qual) (6. Buch) 3. Zitat: Gia piansi nel dolore; o dolorosa Sorte (Schon weinte ich in Schmerzen, oh schmerzliches Geschick) (6. Buch) 4. Zitat: Ahi gia mi discolero (Ach schon entfarbte ich mich) (Wehe, der Tod kommt) (4. Buch) 5. Davon will meine Musik etwas aussagen. (Jurg Baur)CD:Sinfonieorchester des Westdeutschen Rundfunks, cond. Guitar Ensemble SKU: BT.EMBZ14561 By Miklos Mosoczi. Educational Tool. Book Only. Composed 2007. 56 pages. Editio Musica Budapest #EMBZ14561. Published by Editio Musica Budapest (BT.EMBZ14561). The new volume in the Musica da camera series has been compiled for a relatively rare type of ensemble, three guitars. This collection spanning the 16th?19th centuries contains not only madrigals by Luca Marenzio, two Bach chorales and Schumann?s Träumerei, but also transcriptions of popular pieces by many other composers (including Händel, Haydn, Schubert and Grieg), enabling music-school guitar students to play familiar, enjoyable works that they have heard performed by other instrumentalists.
$14.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 4 to 6 weeks
