No Place Like Home, The Flight of the Bumblebee and The Arkansas Traveler (the “bumblebee song”) combine to make this trombone feature unlike any you've tried before. Travelin' Music will send you travelin along with this lively setting of an old timey fiddle tune written back in the 1850's, that we know as the Arkansas Traveler. Because the tune is somewhat pentatonic, and this brilliant setting by Pierre La Plante changes key and is masterfully scored, it is easily playable by all sections. A great addition to the young band spring concert. Sure to be a toe-tapping favorite of listeners and performers!
