This classic Clarence Williams composition was written at the very beginning of the Jazz Age and speaks in the Count Basie language. An 8 measure written piano solo feeds into a quiet full ensemble melody with brass in bucket mutes. (Open in stand will do) Well placed unisons and ensemble writing leads to a 16 bar tenor sax solo (suggested written solo is provided) then builds to a final full ensemble shout chorus a minor third higher. Includes an optional flute part. The unique surprise ending will treat the audience and band to a few happy moments. Hint: (Opt. one bar vocal ending).

A contemporary sounding rock tune that sounds much more difficult than it is. Includes a very well written, yet surprisingly easy, keyboard part that will sound great when performed on an electric piano or synthesizer and an optional auxillary percussion part that utilizes wind chimes, shaker and cowbell to great effect. An exceptional chart for young bands on their way up.
