The Aloha Mass brings the grace and style of Hawaiian music to the mainland with a blend of melodic styles and native instruments indigenious to the Hawaiian Islands. The percussion is written for Bongo and Conga Drums to simulate the myriad kinds of actual native percussion instrumentsfound in Hawaii and the neighboring Samoan Islands. The Ukuleles required are of only two types, the Tenor and Baritone; however, parts have been provided witen for the full range of Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone Ukes (Soprano, Alto and Tenor Ukes use the same transposition).
