Edited by the Deutscher Musikrat (German Music Council) with Richard Mailander and Kord MichaelisCatholic and Protestant churches are familiar with the tradition that in times of crisis, new works are composed to comfort the faithful, and are performed in worship. Following in this tradition, the project Orgelmusik in Zeiten von Corona (Organ Music in Times of Corona) was devised. 17 new compositions were commissioned which reflect Corona times, creatively confront the past and the present, and will enrich the repertoire of organ music in a lasting way.The 17 compositions depict a wide range of styles including avant-garde, jazz and classical, and some refer to music from previous eras and church music traditions. They are conceived for different levels of difficulty, are for 2 or 3-manual organs, and last between four and ten minutes. They are particularly suitable for concerts, but can also be played in church services.* 17 thematic reflections on the Corona pandemic: on the horsemen of the apocalypse, the Coeur bleu, the thunder of time, timelines, trust and confidence, and many more* compositions by Timo Bocking, Kathrin A. “Composed by Marcel Dupré, Evocation is to be considered as ?Symphonic poem? for Organ. Dedicated to Albert Dupré, his father and also organist in Rouen, this piece requires a good knowledge of the instrument, using ?voix celestes? and ?bourdons? and some really advanced skills. This majestic piece is really fast and is divided into three distinct sections: I. Moderato, II. Adagio con tenerezza, III. Allegro Deciso. It is is an amazing piece to play for recitals, or contests and will delight the audience. Marcel Dupré (1186-1971) is also well-known for his review of the Organ work by J.S Bach.â€.

Johann Michael Haydn's oeuvre includes more than thirty works in Latin or German for two or three descants, composed for his dear choirboys of the Salzburg 'Kapellhaus'. The first setting of the ordinary in this series was the Missa Sancti Aloysii, composed in 1777. It was initially intended for the Commemoration of the Holy Innocents on 28 December, when the chapel boys celebrated their principal feast day. This exceptionally charming mass, characterized by a wonderfully effervescent joyfulness, is an insider's tip for anyone looking for new repertoire for three-part women's, girls' or boys' choir. By virtue of ist scoring, the mass is also eminently suitable for small-scale performances. Score and part available separately - see item CA.5425700.

Bela Bartok composed Dance Suite in 1923 for the 50th anniversary of the foundation of Hungary's capital through the unification of Buda, Obuda, and Pest. It soon became one of his most popular orchestral works, and in 1925 he arranged it for piano solo. Adam Tabajdi completed the organ version of Dance Suite in 2019/20, and recorded it on the Kern organ of Sapporo's Kitara Concert Hall later that year. His transcription was inspired by the composer's own version for piano, exploiting the alternative solutions offered by the ''orchestral'' timbres of the organ, with its manuals and pedals. The ideal instrument for the present version is an expansive, eclectic style organ with at least three manuals. This flamboyant arrangement requires great virtuosity, stamina, and creativity from the performer. Adam Tabajdi (b. 1993) is an outstanding young Hungarian organist. Alongside the music of J. S. Bach, his repertoire includes Liszt, and Franck, as well as twentieth-century works, with a special focus on Messiaen, Ligeti, and Florentz. He is a committed performer of contemporary music, but he also feels a close connection with the works of old masters such as Sweelinck, Weckmann, and Couperin. In 2021 he won first prize in the Toulouse International Organ Competition, and in 2022 he was awarded the Junior Prima Award.
