Baritone; String Quartet (Score & Parts) SKU: HL.49044628 Complied and transcribed for Baritone and String Quartet by Aribert Reimann. Composed by Aribert Reimann and Franz Liszt. Arranged by Aribert Reimann. This edition: Saddle stitching. Sheet music. Vocal. Classical. Score and parts. Composed 1860-1880. 76 pages. Duration 20'. Schott Music #ED 21885. Published by Schott Music (HL.49044628). ISBN 9790001198493. UPC: 841886022027. 9.25x12.0x0.212 inches. German. Aribert Reimann's idea to arrange the lieder of Franz Liszt for baritone and string quartet goes back to his collaboration with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, recording some of these lieder for the German broadcasting company formerly known as Sender Freies Berlin (SFB). Since then, Reimann has continued to be fascinated by Liszt's thrilling harmony and unconventional treatment of the voice. Here, he has compiled a cycle containing seven lieder from Liszt's middle and late periods, arranged so that each song is the logical continuation of its predecessor. Liszt's fundamental harmony has been retained, but the registers have been altered to such an extent that they appear in a completely new light. $74.00 - See more - Buy online

| Old Composers from the Early Days of the Organ Playing Organ [Score] Breitkopf & Härtel
Organ SKU: BR.EB-3938 12 Compositions of the 15th and 16th Century...(+)
Organ SKU: BR.EB-3938 12 Compositions of the 15th and 16th Century. Composed by Arnold Schering. Edited by Arnold Schering. Solo instruments; stapled. Edition Breitkopf. Renaissance/early Baroque; Baroque. Score. 40 pages. Breitkopf and Haertel #EB 3938. Published by Breitkopf and Haertel (BR.EB-3938). ISBN 9790004162057. 12 x 9 inches. Oktober 1483 in Ravensburg (Wurttemberg) geboren. Orto starb 1529 in Nivelles. $24.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 3 to 4 weeks

Language: Latin. Franz Schubert's Mass in G major is one of the most popular settings of the mass ordinary: the charming song-like melodic writing, especially in the Kyrie and the Credo, forms a magical counterpoint to more concertante passages in the Gloria and the Sanctus. For a long time it was thought that Schubert's final version was scored for purely string orchestra, whilst a version with wind, brass, and timpani was thought to be an expanded orchestration by his brother Ferdinand Schubert. However, since the mid-1990s it has been known that the parts for trumpets and timpani were additionally composed by Franz Schubert himself for use ad libitum. The present edition offers this Klosterneuburg Version - with trumpets and timpani ad libitum, but without Ferdinand's wind parts - in an Urtext edition reflecting Schubert's own intended orchestration. Carus Choir Coach. Mp3, Practice-CD, tenore. Sacred vocal music, Masses, Latin. Compact Disc. D 167. Duration 25 minutes. Carus Verlag #CV 40.675/93. Published by Carus Verlag (CA.4067593). Key: G major.
