POD Piano Solo Part-Piano Concerto No.1 in C Minor is a work by Herbert Howells scored for Piano and Orchestra Op.4. This is the Piano Solo Part which has been edited and completed by John Rutter.

This work was composed in 1951 for Piano and Strings. This edition is the Piano Solo part which also includes Piano II which is the reduction for Orchestra.

Cyril Scott was an English composer writer and poet. He was essentially a late romantic composer whose style was at the same time strongly influenced by impressionism. His harmony was notably exotic. Scott wrote around four hundred works which include two mature symphonies three operas three Piano concertos concertos for Violin Cello Oboe and Harpsichord several overtures four oratorios as well as a mass of chamber music.During the late 1920s and early 1930s Scott recorded several of his own pieces on Piano roll. Composed in 1908 for solo Piano  DanseNegre was recorded on October 4 1928.Danse Negre is a lively little piece with a performance time of approximately 2 minutes a perfect addition to any pianists repertoire!

A superb work for solo Piano Charles Camilleri's Piano Sonata No.2 Op.15 is guaranteed to impress. This work will provide an enjoyable challenge for the advancing pianist with the final third movement drammatico agitato being particularly exciting.
