This effervescent number from the 1924 musical No, No, Nanette is a real crowd-pleaser! The melody is introduced by the entire group, then a bubbly counterline adds to the fun. A slower verse section (with optional solos) offers contrast. Choreography suggestions included!

Here's a partner song arrangement of the favorite American folk tune that teaches some history and culture as well! The creative countermelody imitates sounds of musical instruments, which many Erie Canal passengers played to pass the time on their long journey through the locks. Educational and enjoyable!
