New from Christy and Daniel Semsen and WordKidz, All About That Baby is a delightfully fresh presentation of the blessed story of Jesus' birth.People everywhere are making the journey to the place of their birth, in compliance with Caesar's decree that everyone should register for the census. This results in the little town of Bethlehem overflowing with people arriving from out of town. Nathaniel, a lovable but scatter-brained, late-for-work shepherd, bumps into two of those travelers, Joanna and Simone, as he rushes to take his shift at watching the flock. The other shepherds (his sisters Miriam and Abigail), along with Judah, are waiting for Nathaniel--late once again--to arrive. Thus begins a story that is All About That Baby, with some shepherds, angels, out-of-towners...and singing, talking sheep to guide us along the way!Song Titles: Morning in Bethlehem (Underscore 1A), Morning in Bethlehem (Underscore 1B) * Waiting for a Miracle with O Come,O Come, Emmanuel; Sheep Trip (Underscore 2) * Sheep Stuff; A Deep, Dark Night (Underscore 3) * Messiah * All About that Baby * Star in the Sky with We Three Kings; Plan B (Underscore 4); Sheep Run (Underscore 5) * That Holy Night with O Holy Night * He Shall Reign Forevermore * Hope for a Broken World with Sheep Stuff and All About that Baby (Reprise) * Sheep Bows.

Today an increasing number church choirs are lamenting the lack of male voices. The present Chorbuch a tre (choir book a tre), anticipated by many, addresses this situation. It contains 160 three-part settings for two female voices and one male voice (some with accompaniment). The collection, designed for ecumenical use, offers a broad selection of choral settings for the church year, times of the day, praise and thanks, the Ordinary, etc. It includes works from from the 17th century to the present, and presents a range of various styles (including gospel and sacred pop). About 50 settings were written for this choir book by renowned composers and church musicians. Choirmasters can now enjoy having a current, comprehensive collection of three-part choral settings with a variety of ideas for singing and making music in worship services.

Original Anthem Especially meaningful during the days of Holy Week, this Christopher Idle text relates to our Lord praying in the garden of Gethsemane, and weaves around the 'tree' theme found in many Scriptures about the cross. Lloyd Larson's original accompaniment for piano, plus the optional flute, oboe, French horn and cello perfectly capture the somber mood. This top-seller is now available in SATB, SAB, Two-Part Mixed voicings and a new Medium Voice Solo. The SATB version appears in Lloyd's blockbuster Lenten musical, The Shadow of the Cross, newly re-voiced for SAB choirs.
