Two Christmas Carols in Traditional Style were composed in 1966. It sets two poems by the British poet Norman Nicholson (1914-1987): the Carol for the Watchers and the Wise Man'sCarol. They are scored for Solo Soprano optional SATB chorus and Piano or Orchestra. Each carol would make the perfect addition to any carol concert or Christmas service.Thea Musgrave (b. 1928) is aScottish-American composer.
