I can live my life on earth contented to the end, if but a few shall . . . call me friend. Success, by people's poet Edgar Guest is paired with a few lines from Shakespeare's Sonnet 50 to create a warm, reflective text on the importance of friendship. Subtle tempo changes and sensitive dynamics encourage expressive singing, and an optional obbligato allows for a C-instrument of your choice.

UPC: 785147046813. English. Text Source: Based on Psalm 91 and Julian of Norwich, 1342-1416. Text by Julian of Norwich. Scripture: Psalm 91.
“All Will Be Well” is, above all, a song of hope. While it is easy to become discouraged by the systems of injustice that pervade our world, Julian’s text reminds us that life and love always prevail. Care should be taken to sing each refrain with this conviction and confidence while still respecting the suggested dynamic markings, as too much power can jeopardize the gentle folk-style of the piece. The verses should start with room to grow dynamically, building throughout, leading to strength and conviction in the refrain.

I don't wanna work. I wanna bang on the drum all day! Here's Todd Rundgren's 1983 well-known chorus in a super-fun arrangement for developing choirs. Sally's creative touch adds a speech chorus, where performers mimic the sounds of various drums in a rhythmic stack. For an inventive twist, double the spoken parts on percussion instruments, buckets, or even coffee cans!
