Concert Band - Grade 2 SKU: AP.38341S Featuring: Il Est Né Le Divin Enfant / Noël Nouvelet / The Huron Carol / Good King Wenceslas. Arranged by Vince Gassi. Concert Band; Performance Music Ensemble; Single Titles. Belwin Young Band. Form: Medley. Christmas; Multicultural; Sacred; Traditional; Winter. Score. 24 pages. Duration 4:00. Belwin Music #00-38341S. Published by Belwin Music (AP.38341S). UPC: 038081436500. English. Traditional. Get ready for an abundance of merriment! This work features carols that have been traditionally sung in Canada for many years and will help to create a spirit of mirth in no time. It opens with the joyous strains of Il Est Né Le Divin Enfant (He is Born, The Divine Child) and continues with the plaintive and modal Noël Nouvelet (Sing We Now of Christmas). The Huron Carol ('Twas In the Moon of Wintertime) is then presented with remnants of Noël Nouvelet cleverly woven in. The dramatic conclusion develops brief dialogue between Good King Wenceslas and Il Est Né Le Divin Enfant that brings the work to an exuberant and powerful close. Juxtaposing the lyrical and expressive with the joyous and cheerful in this masterful arrangement will add a little touch of Canada to your next holiday concert. Concert Band/Harmonie - Grade 4 SKU: BT.AMP-158-010 Composed by William B...(+)
Concert Band/Harmonie - Grade 4 SKU: BT.AMP-158-010 Composed by William Byrd. Arranged by Philip Sparke. Anglo Music Midway Series. Transcription. Set (Score & Parts). Composed 2006. Anglo Music Press #AMP 158-010. Published by Anglo Music Press (BT.AMP-158-010). 9x12 inches. English-German-French-Dutch. The Battell was written during the late 14th Century when England was in a mood of national celebration after victory over the Spanish and French Armadas. The movement which Byrd called Marche Before The Battell became known as The Earl of Oxford?s Marchand it appears with that title in an early manuscript copy of the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book.Written while Byrd was at the height of his powers, it still stirs the soul to this day. A perfect opener for your concert performances.
$140.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

Concert Band/Harmonie - Grade 3 SKU: BT.DHP-1094676-010 Wer nur den lieben Gott lässt walten. Arranged by Jan de Haan. Musica Sacra. Hymns & Chorals. Set (Score & Parts). Composed 2009. De Haske Publications #DHP 1094676-010. Published by De Haske Publications (BT.DHP-1094676-010). 9x12 inches. English-German-French-Dutch. Wer nur den lieben Gott lässt walten was composed by Georg Neumark in about 1641 and was subtitled ‘Trostlied’ literally meaning consolation song. Songbooks at the time showed the popularity of this song and it is still well-known today partly due to Johann Sebastian Bach’s use of the melody for one of his own chorals. In Jan de Haan’s arrangement the choral is heard twice, once, alternating with the original motif from the introduction and a second time, without interruption, reflecting the composer’s original intention - a song of consolation.
$110.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks
