Robert Wilkins (1896-1987) est né à Hernando, une petite ville du Nord du Mississippi, qui a néanmoins réussi à contribuer des musiciens comme Frank Stokes, Jim Jackson, Garfield Akers et Joe Callicott à l'histoire du Blues.
