Starting with a main theme of arpeggiated chords, the piece then follows with a number of variations, including chords, arpeggios, glissandos, and numerous nuances and speed variations. The piece starts in Allegro moderato, then evolving to Allegretto, Allegretto Scherzando, sometimes more energetic or quieter. This piece is great to master speed, flexibility and agility as well as the different types of nuances. Marcel Tournier (1879-1951) was a French Harpist and teacher. Sylvia Woods (née en 1951 dans le Tennessee) est une harpiste et compositrice américaine, peut-être plus connue pour son rôle dans la renaissance mondiale de la harpe celtique, ou cláirseach. Elle a commencé à vendre et à écrire de la musique pour les harpes celtiques dans les années 1970, alors que l'instrument était peu connu aux États-Unis, contribuant ainsi à une vague d'intérêt pour la harpe et la musique celtique.
