versione originale per arpa. Milan, 1990 I was writing a series of piano pieces. I had a goal: to remove, and leave space. The title refers to the poetic stanzas but also to invisible spaces to be inhabited with the mind. One day my friend Cecilia Chailly calls me and asks me if I have a harp piece for her to play. I give her Vega to try. Two days later I go to her house to listen and, with mutual enthusiasm, I give her all the pieces that we will soon be recording. Cecilia will perform them in concert on various and memorable occasions. Here, I would like to express my profound thanks for her heartfelt help in correcting this new harp edition. (L. Einaudi)

Six Pieces by Francois Couperin has been adapted here for the Celtic Harp or Harp with pedals by Ma té Echeverry. The French Baroque composer was known as Couperin TheGreat?and eventually became court organist and composer. He has been described as a musicians of the highest talent and ability.

The original version for solo soprano and SATB choir appeared on Patrickâ??s debut album Blue in Blue. It was subsequently recorded by Hayley Westenra for her Number-One-selling album Odyssey and in 2014 by Voces8 choir to produce a version for them which featured on their Number-One-selling album Eventide. Arranged here for lever harp from the piano version by Elinor Evans the music reflects the heartfelt longing for the joys of heaven a happiness to be shared in a future moment of meeting expressed in the words.

Two solos in jazz idiom for pedal or non-pedal harp-Two solos in the jazz idiom for Pedal or Non-Pedal Harp by Stewart Green. Stewart Green began writing music for the Piano at an early age. Taking up the Viola and Oboe in his teens he later went to the University College of North Wales (Bangor) where he studied composition with among others William Matthias and Reginald Smith Brindle. Gaining a B. Mus. (hons) degree in 1960 he returned to his old school in Richester to teach class and instrumental music. Four years later he enlisted as oboist to the Band of HM Coldstream Guards which opened many doors including performances of his compositions and arrangements in many National venues on discand broadcast by the BBC on Radios 2 & 3. His years at Bangor had enabled him to fulfil a childhood dream of learning the Harp which he was later able to develop when he left the army and moved with his wife Sue and young family to Lowestoft as a peripatetic woodwind tutor for Suffolk County Music Service. His Flights Of Fancy and Blistering Along! appear on ABRSM and Trinity College Harp examination syllabuses while the Spartan Press publication Saxofun is on Suffolk's own exam syllabus. Since 1999 Stewart has been senior Woodwind Tutor for Suffolk and since 2002 Harp tutor as well! Stewart's recent publication She'll Be Comin' Round The Mountain was written for the North Suffolk String Orchestra as was Haunted House. Spookily this received its first performance at Lowestoft accompanied by a July Thunderstorm!

Edited and arranged according to Hasselmans? methods by R. Martenot it features the studies 1 to 25 for intermediate Harp players and above. This volume is followed by a second book including the studies 26 to 50. Nicolas-Charles Bochsa (1789-1856) was a musician and composer able to play the Flute the Piano and the Harp. He became the harpist of the Imperial Orchestra but had to move to London where he was one of the founders of the Royal Academy of Music.

Brocéliande is a piece for Harp by Annie Challan. Lasting 2’30 minutes this piece was written for elementary level (upper beginner / intermediate level). It can be played on lever or pedal Harps as there are only a few accidentals. This tribute to the magical forest is the perfect piece to be played in recitals. Annie Challan (born in 1940) is a French Harpist who was the youngest player at the Paris Operas when she started working there. She composed numerous pieces for the Harp.

However this did not stop her from composing significant works for the Harp including Legende D'Apres Les Elfes inspired the poem of the same name by French poet Leconte de Lisle. Despite being a talented composer Renié lived at a time where fame and success was socially unacceptable for women. In 1903 she composed her substantial work for Harp  Legende D'Apres Les Elfes. As a highly virtuosic work this Renié piece displays use of cadenza passages exploitation of tonality complex rhythms and variety in performance directions. For advanced harpists Renié's Legende D'Apres Les Elfes is an exciting and varied addition to the repertoire.
