At the turn of the 20th century Vienna was the centre of a surge in artistic creativity that enveloped all the arts and continued for two decades. A celebration of Song showcases songs written by composers of this period well- and lesser-known and explores the diverse musical styles of these Viennese musical elite as well as offering short biographical information on each individual.
