For medium solo voice and organ This mass setting, with texts in both Latin and English (Book of Common Prayer), is typical of the composer's style: musically sophisticated, with motivic solo lines and a great deal of chromaticism and continual time changes. Vocal range: C4-Gb5 (opt. A5).

Fantasy-Variations on Two Themes (2017) for organ was written for Heinrich Christensen in celebration of his significant 2017 birthday. The musical material for the work comprises two different themes. The first is a short melody by the Danish composer Carl Nielsen (1865-1931). (It was a sketch originally intended for inclusion in, but ultimately left out of, Nielsen's late organ work 29 Little Preludes.) This theme represents Heinrich's native Denmark. The second theme is the American folk-gospel hymn Angel Band. This theme represents Heinrich's adopted American homeland. It serves also as a remembrance of our dear mutual friend Harry Lyn Huff (1952-2016), for whom the tune was a particular favorite. Both these themes are developed freely in a set of alternating fantasy-variations. The opening variation begins with a dramatic pedal solo before quoting both themes. The second variation is a lyric setting based on the Nielsen melody. The third is a jubilant hornpipe on Angel Band. The fourth is an aria on a transformation of the Nielsen melody. The fifth is a gigue-toccata on Angel Band. The sixth is an atmospheric contemplation: lush chords in the manuals move slowly and hint at Angel Band while the Nielsen melody is heard for the first time in its complete original form on a high pedal stop. The seventh and final variation begins with a brief evocation of the harmonies of the late Daniel Pinkham (a mentor to both Heinrich and me) before going on to return dramatically and jubilantly to the opening music, bringing together both themes again in a bold conclusion. With his organ symphonies, the composer Enjott Schneider (born 1950) from Munich has been a profound sensation in recent years and seen world premieres at major European organ events. The Organ Symphony No. 6 'Te Deum' (premiered at Bruckner's St. Florian above Bruckner's tomb in 2008 and recorded there on CD) adopts the five-part structure and several motifs from Bruckner's 'Te Deum', thus becoming a forceful compact work pervaded by the Gotteslob. 1: 'Te Deum' is based on Bruckner's original figuration of fifths and eighths which is connected with the Latin Te Deum; 2: 'Te Ergo' is a 'preghiera' with pleading and praying gestures; 3: 'Aeterna fac' is an extremely virtuoso perpetuum mobile; 4: 'Salvum Fac' a basso ostinato and finally 5: 'In te, Domine speravi' a toccata which, after taking many detours, inevitably leads to the C major.

Four Voluntaries For Organ by Robert Groves.
Following the practice adopted in several of Groves' books of Hymn Tune Preludes, each of these pieces has been designed so that it can be played on a small two-manual Organ with pedals, or quite easily on a manual only, with or without pedals. Registration of a simple nature has been given, and this may, of course, be varied at the player's wish.

Originally one of three pieces for solo organ (Trois Pièces pour Grand Orgue) Théodore Dubois, the majestic Hosannah has been arranged for organ and two trumpets by composer/arranger Richarl Siegel. The piece contrasts stately, chordal sections with more florid (but never complicated) passages, all being brought to a regal conclusion. The trumpet writing is accessible and capable. High school or other intermediate-level players will be able to perform this piece. Optional parts for timpani and cymbal are included, which will add an extra level of brilliance to this fine transcription. It is suitable for any festive celebration. As a prelude on Palm Sunday, this piece would provide a noble opening to Holy Week. As an Easter Vigil or Easter Sunday postlude, it would be a sonic reminder of Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem, leading to his triumphant victory over the tomb. For Organ, Two Trumpets, optional Timpani, and Cymbals.
