Organ SKU: CA.5027100 Composed by Josef Gabriel Rheinberger. Edited by Martin Weyer. Carus digital: Extra digital products. Full Score. WoO 25. Carus Verlag #5027100. Published by Carus Verlag (CA.5027100). ISBN 9790007298357. As well as 20 organ sonatas and seven collections of stand-alone organ pieces with opus numbers, Rheinberger composed a whole range of smaller works for organ methods or organ collections for his favorite instrument, mainly at the request of colleagues and friends.
The posthumously compiled collection of ten smaller organ pieces WoO 25 brings together a series of interesting pieces from the years 1854 to 1896. It includes one of just two chorale settings by Rheinberger, the prelude on “Wenn ich einmal soll scheidenâ€. With short trios, preludes and fugues in different keys, the collection is particularly suitable for use in worship, but also for teaching.

Orchestra soprano/baritone vocal soli, SATB choir, 2 flutes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 4 horns, 2 trumpets, 3 trombones, timpani, violin, 2 violas, 2 cellos, contrabass, harp, organ SKU: CA.2731149 Composed by Gabriel Faure. Edited by Marc Rigaudiere. French Sacred Music. Requiem. Fassung 1889 Fur Kleines Orchest. Sacred vocal music, Requiem. Single Part, Organ. Composed 1901. 20 pages. Duration 35 minutes. Carus Verlag #CV 27.311/49. Published by Carus Verlag (CA.2731149). ISBN 9790007201593. Language: Latin. The Requiem of Gabriel Faure is now available in two versions: in the symphonic version which was completed in 1900 and in a version with small orchestra of 1889. The symphonic version of Gabriel Faure's Requiem, published in 1901, was the product of a 13-year compositional process. Starting from the original five-movement form for strings, harp and organ, the composer wrote two additional movements, one after the other, and expanded the instrumentation in various stages for later performances. The present reconstruction of a version with small orchestra differs from other such attempts in that for the first time it presents the work not in a mixed version, but rather in the unified form from 1889. This is distinguished from the final version both in musical terms, as well as through the fact that it forgoes the use of flutes, clarinets and bassoons, while employing only two horns instead of four. With a critical Report with information about the source situation and the edition, and containing the individual readings (alternative readings, etc.). Since in 1889 the Offertoire was still without the choral section the present edition contains the Offertoire of the final version as appendix. Now available in carus music, the choir app. Score and part available separately - see item CA.2731100. $17.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

The musical counterpoint possible in two and three-voice compositions make them a natural fit for the organ, and such works have been a part of the instrument’s repertoire since the very beginning. David Lasky has written seven free duos, eight free trios, and seven trios on familiar hymns to comprise this useful collection. The pieces are all short—most are less than two minutes—and thus can serve, individually or in groups, as fitting music anywhere in a service. Additionally, they will work well as teaching pieces at the early intermediate or intermediate level. $33.00 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 1 to 2 weeks

Soprano voice solo, 2 oboes (2 flutes), 2 horns, 2 violins, viola, cello/bassoon/contrabass, organ SKU: CA.4076704 Solomotette zum Dreifaltigkeitsfest oder zu Weihnachten. Composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Edited by Wolfgang Hochstein. This edition: urtext. Stuttgart Urtext Edition: Mozart. Exsultate, Jubilate Rev.2000. Sacred vocal music, Trinity, Christmas, Praise and thanks, Feasts of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Hymns in praise of the Virgin Mary. Reduction for organ. Composed 1773. KV 165 (158a). 16 pages. Duration 17 minutes. Carus Verlag #CV 40.767/04. Published by Carus Verlag (CA.4076704). ISBN 9790007084998. Key: F major. Language: Latin. A good six years following its first performance in Milan (1773) a second version of Exsultate, jubilate was completed for a performance on Trinity Sunday in 1779. It has survived in a manuscript from Salzburg. This Salzburg version, which was discovered in 1978, differs from the Milan version primarily through the use of flutes instead of oboes and also through the use of two different texts for the first aria. In the first version the text refers to Christmas, whereas in the second version it refers to the festival of Trinity. Mozart's autograph of the Milan version had been thought to be missing since the second world war and it has only been accessible in the Biblioteka Jagiellonska in Krakow for a little over a decade. The present new critical edition by Wolfgang Hochstein is the first which could be based on both versions. Anton Bruckner's Te Deum - a high point in the composer's output and one of the most important works of the sacred choral repertoire in the 19th century - is now available in a modern, scholarly edition. The Carus edition draws on both the two sources regarded as important, the autograph score and the first printed edition, with careful consideration given to variant readings. And so a music text has been prepared which reflects the composer's intentions as closely as possible. Great emphasis has been placed on a clear-to-read layout of the full score pages, as well as excellent legibility for the parts, which are available on sale. With current performance practice in mind, the clarinet parts are notated in B flat instead of A, corresponding with the first printed edition. The vocal score has been newly prepared to reflect current practical requirements. As an economical alternative, a chorus score is available. Bruckner's Te Deum is also available in carus music, the choir app. The app contains the music and a recording, as well as a coach to help with learning each choral part. SA vocal soli, SATB choir, 2 violins, viola, cello/contrabass, organ SKU: CA.3207619 Composed by Wilhelm Friedemann Bach. Edited by Peter Wollny. This edition: urtext. Carus Verlag #CV 32.076/19. Published by Carus Verlag (CA.3207619). ISBN 9790007138974. Language: German. The cantata is one of the few surviving vocal works which Wilhelm Friedemann Bach composed during the eighteen years which he spent as organist and director of music at the Marktkirche in Halle (1746-1764). This cantata, published here for the first time in more than 250 years, was written to introduce the autumn sermons in 1752. A musically and technically demanding composition, it consists of two substantial choral movements, partly concertante and partly polyphonic, based on two biblical utterances. They surround a sensitive, while at the same time strictly contrapuntal, duet for soprano and alto with basso continuo in which God's sweet teaching for the soul is described as the true manna of the faithful, forming a link with the sermons which are to follow. In the compactness of the musical construction and its intensity of expression W. F. Bach was clearly following in the footsteps of his father in this work. ISBN 9790007170493. Language: Latin. In preparation: arrangement of the Te Deum for soli, choir, brass quintet and organ. Score available separately - see item CA.2719000. $24.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks
