Roman de Julien Gracq ' Au château d'Argolo inclut un chapitre où l'un des héros, Herminien, découvre une chapelle cachée profondément dans une forêt. ' Bientôt... à travers les branches, tordus en arabesques fantastiques, est apparu le mur gris d'une chapelle accrochée au milieu d'un gouffre. ' Il voit un organe y et monter les marches du Grenier, il commence à improviser. ' Puis, par les ministères de son inquiétude, un bruit rose up. ' L'auteur donne une description de cette improvisation qui, musicalement, exprime la tension psychologique qui a été constitué dans le cadre de ce roman. Le roulement oeuvre musicale, que le titre du présent chapitre ne prétend pas répondre à la lettre de la description littéraire de cette improvisation, ce qui serait impossible comme décrivant 'Sonate de Vinteuil' de Proust, mais il est inspiré par les deux - cette description et par le roman lui-même. / Orgue

Cet ensemble de pièces d'orgue intitulé ultérieurement ' Répons pour les temps liturgiques ' - titre écrit par Jeanne DEMESSIEUX sur le manuscrit du Consolamini - forme sa dernière oeuvre. La série demeure inachevée, comme l'auteur me l'écrivait le 2 janvier 1968. La composition s'échelonne sur plusieurs années. Les 12 chorals - Préludes -, et les Répons pour les temps liturgiques sont destinés aux mêmes usages, ils s'incorporent dans le cadre des offices de l'Eglise catholique. On a par ailleurs comparé les premiers à l'Orgelbuschen, comme on avait mis les Etudes pour orgue en parallèle avec les Etudes pour piano de Chopin et de Liszt. Im Schülerkreis um J. S. Bach nimmt Johann Ludwig Krebs eine Schlüsselposition ein. Als einer der begabtesten Eleven Bachs galt Krebs bereits zu Lebzeiten als außergewöhnlicher Komponist und Organist mit virtuosen Fähigkeiten. Beim Studium seines umfangreichen Orgelschaffens spürt man seine großen organistischen Fähigkeiten, die sich in einer virtuosen Finger- und Pedaltechnik äußern. Auf kompositorischem Gebiet begegnet uns Krebs als ein die kontrapunktischen Regeln perfekt beherrschender Künstler. Neben der perfekten Nachahmung seines Lehrmeisters Bach hatte sich Krebs auch den neuen galanten und empfindsamen Tendenzen seiner Zeit zugewandt. Er zeigte sich damit sehr aufgeschlossen gegenüber den zu seiner Zeit aufkommenden neuen musikalischen Strömungen, die in seinen Kompositionen eine besondere Rolle spielen. / Orgue
