Many pianists would love to play the greatest works of Grieg but find that their ambition surpasses their technical ability. Even so, there are still plenty of pieces and even extracts from longer works that are well within the abilities of a novice pianist. These accessible pieces are the focus of this collection. Just because these pieces do not demand the pianistic brilliance of other works does not mean they lack the stamp of the master.
