Every song he has written has become a hit in almost every European country. Anthony Gröger picked three of the singer?s most famous songs and made an accessible arrangement for string quartet, namely: Sing, Perfect and Shape of You. Simply perfect for any occasion!

(with optional 3rd Violin part in place of Viola)-Bizet's opera 'The Pearl Fishers'was written during 1863 and was his first important opera. Unfortunately it received a very unfavourable reaction from the critics and Bizet himself was highly critical of it during his last years. However t e duet has remained the best known extract and has been heard extensively on radio and television. This fantastic arrangement highlights the lovely intertwining melody that has become so popular.

Alman - String Quartet was composed by Bent Sørensen in 1984. Parts available: WH29837A Programme Note: In Alman which consists of 3 movements it is the dynamic waves that are making the form. Constantly something is created sheltered by these waves things are hidden or are having their own expression. In this light the first movement can be seen as a big curve and the second movement as a mosaic. In the manic last movement the music is whipped against climax. This movement is supported by a quotation of the young Danish poet Michael Strunge. The title of Alman is the name of a dance (Fitzwilliam Virginal Book) even thoughthis is hardly heard in my quartet. (Bent Sørensen)
