Ny repertoarsamling i tre volymer av Evert Taubes allra finaste visor med genomarbetade gitarrarrangemang av Ralf Sandberg och Torhild Winnberg. Notationen ar gjord med tanke pa saval amatorgitarrister och vissangare som mer avancerade gitarrister: enklare och mer avancerade ackord, arrangemang bade i noter och tabulatur. Till ett stort antal av visorna finns aven separata soloarrangemang som kan anvandas antingen som mellanspel eller helt fristaende. I textkommentarer finns nagot om visornas tillkomsthistoria hamtat ur den senare Taubeforskningen samt tips om hur ackompanjemangen kan gestaltas pa gitarr.

Evert Taube landsteg i Buenos Aires pa 1910-talet som ung tjugoaring och tog starka intryck av den latinamerikanska atmosfaren och den folkliga musik-traditionen. Evert Taubes internationella utblickar fran Latinamerika och Syd-europa var unika pa sin tid och skildringarna av den svenska sommaren, skar-garden och naturen ar helt fenomenala. De latinamerikanskt praglade sangerna i den har volymen ar fargade med tango-, samba- eller salsarytmer, till exempel i Fritiof och Carmencita, Invitation till Guate-mala, Min alskling, Oxdragarsang och Pepita dansar. Andra sanger som Havsorns-vals, Gammel-vals i Roslagen och Har Rosemarie, syns blaa Namdofjarden doftar hav och skar--gard. Inbjudan till Bohuslan och Karleken och vinden hyllar Bohuslan medan Min alskade gick sig i min lustgard och Nocturne har en konstmusikalisk stil. Det ar ju kvinnorna som Evert Taube besjunger, och manga sanger kan ocksa sjungas och tolkas av kvinnliga roster och ur ett kvinnligt perspektiv. Likasa kan dialogerna mellan alskande framforas av en man saval som av en kvinna - det ar dikten som ar barare av sangen. Dessa nya frascha gitarrarrangemang riktar sig till alla Evert Taube-alskare, men ocksa till dem som annu inte upptackt hans stora visskatt.
