Uraufführung erfuhr.
Seine unbefangene Frische
macht es zu einem
Bravourstück, dem eine
wachsende Verbreitung und
Bekanntheit nur zu
wünschen ist. Als
Liedkomponist zeigt sich
Hugo Wolf in seiner
schlicht-bezaubernden
Berceuse [1880, HWW 65].
Dieses kleine,
ursprünglich für
Klavier geschriebene Werk
hat nicht nur zahlreiche
Bearbeitungen erfahren,
sondern ist auch unter
zahlreichen Titeln
veröffentlicht worden.
Die Orgeltranskription
rechnet für das
Zwischenspiel mit einer
dreimanualigen Orgel mit
ausgebautem Schwellwerk.

'Peter und
der Wolf' ist
Programm-Musik zum Beginn
der Moderne (20. Jh).
Sergej Prokofjeff lebte
von 1891 bis 1953. Er
wurde in der Ukraine
geboren, lebte und starb
in Moskau. Die Vertonung
des Märchens für
großes Orchester schrieb
er 1936. Die einzelnen
Figuren (Peter,
Singvogel, Ente, Katze,
Großvater, Wolf, Jäger)
werden in einprägsamen
Themen (kleinen Melodien)
vorgestellt. Im Original
hat jeder Charakter seine
eigene Klangfarbe durch
die unterschiedlichen
Instrumente des
Orchesters. Aber auch mit
dem Cello und dem Bogen
haben wir viele
Möglichkeiten der
Tongestaltung! Prokofjew
legte seine Figuren in
Melodie und Rhythmik so
an, dass sie auch in
dieser Fassung für 3
Violoncelli eindeutig zu
hören sind. Die Melodien
werden euch bald vertraut
sein. Aber die Harmonik
ist gelegentlich
irritierend durch die
häufige chromatische
(Halbtöne) Rückung. Die
Dreiklänge sind
ungewohnt, weil die Töne
so weit auseinander
liegen. Für die
Cellistinnen und
Cellisten heißt das:
Ohren auf! Gut einhören
und überlegen, wo die
Töne liegen. Damit
'Peter und der Wolf' noch
vielfältiger musiziert
werden kann, liegt die 1.
Stimme auch im
Violinschlüssel bei. Die
Icons (gestaltet von
Yvonne Richter) zwischen
den Noten helfen, dass
sich der/die Spielende
schnell in die jeweilige
Rolle der Figur versetzen
kann und sie entsprechend
gestaltet.
